I don’t think they ever said they don’t know who did it… it sounds like the teammates who aren’t talking to police are just withholding details, and being generally uncooperative.

Anyway, my take on this is that it’s just a straight up assault, an especially vicious one. The player who threw a hissy-fit and decided to smash an old dude in the face to satisfy his hurt feelings should be charged as a criminal and locked up for a long time. Then I’d like to see the victim win a lawsuit against the player that basically ruins the player financially and hopefully makes the referee’s life a little easier. He sure does have a long road ahead of him, if he really did break his face bones.

All that aside – why do so many of you freaks try to work racism into every story you hear about? He’s a pissed off footballer who apparently has the emotional IQ of a five-year-old, and he obviously did it because he was *angry*. He didn’t smash the ref because the ref was white, I mean come on…

I want to know who the douchebag football player was who did this! He should be imprisoned for what he did! That poor ref…. he very nearly died!

Not to mention, law on the books makes it different, if they were white, ref black, it literally would be a hate crime in most places/cases now. Black on White hate crime doesn’t exist in the eyes of the liberal court.

The reason why Rochester is no longer a “decent society” is because most young people with a sense of decency or a chance at an education get the hell out of there as soon as they can. Which leaves behind an ever growing pool of stupidly violent people (black and white–I grew up in Gates), and racist wads of crap –both evidenced nicely here. Which is sad, because I love Rochester…and it makes me laugh to see the awful people who live there and do awful things complain about how awful it is.

I don’t know about that, man. I guess I can’t say for sure (given that I don’t live there), but I still find it very hard to believe that something so obviously straightforward would end up being ‘big news’ and touted as a hate crime. Anybody with a brain would take one look at it and say that it was obviously just a raging player who got mad at a referee… no matter what “side” you’re on, this case clearly has nothing to do with race.

And I would *really* hope that if there were claims of racism (like you suggest there would be), that the rational people would stand up and toss the claims aside as ridiculous.

So yeah, anyway, I don’t think it would work out the way you predicted. As if newspapers would really get behind something so stupid. I think it’s far more likely that you’re taking some minor examples where there really were double standards (it does happen sometimes) and expanding them in your mind to be some kind of big movement against white people.

Maybe if poeple of all colors were to stop yapping so much about racism (or reverse racism, or whatever), then racism would stand a better chance of actually going away. Instead we see racism popping it’s ugly head up even in cases that have nothing to do with racism whatsoever. Why does that happen? Because the concept persists in the minds of people, even when it is in fact nowhere to be seen.

All that being said… maybe I’m totally wrong on this, and maybe Rochester is some kind of wasteland full of mobs of black poeple who victimize white folks and are colluding with your black president to take over and subjugate the whites and good lord I’M NEXT, WHITE PEOPLE ARE UNDER ATTACK

Sure man, maybe they would be, but that’s because they’re sort of racists themselves, and have almost completely lost their ability to look at a case objectively without injecting race issues into everything they see. Sharpton and Jackson are basically extremists who can’t open their mouth without complaining about white people, that’s who they are. But most of the people in the US don’t think like them… and sure, the media reports their stupid claims, but that’s because the media lives on that kind of behavior. If you’re famous, and you’ve got something provocative or incendiary to say, you get air time, and that’s it.

Sorry man, but I flat out don’t believe you. I *guarantee* that your courts define hate crimes as crimes motivated by hatred… not crimes that happen to occur between people of different colors. You might love to rag on your “liberal judges”, but the reality is that the judges know better than to convict someone for a hate crime simply because the victim was black.

I guess you can tell, but I think the problem is that people overreact and inject race into places where it really played no role at all. Just like Sharpton does. And just like Hank W had to take a shot at police. And just like you had to take a shot at the “liberal courts”.

So? The definition is completely fluid. Whites were attacked at Milwaukee’s Summerfest complete with racial epithets. No Hate Crime case. White kid was beaten on a bus for no reason – no Hate Crime case. Duke Lacross team case – Hate Crime (even though there was no crime.)

But you’re not suggesting that’s the standard, are you? I mean, it’s considered to be a scandal. That psychotic prosecutor was practically excommunicated for what he did – and everybody agrees that the bastard deserves to lose his career and his dignity, right? He lost his job, he was criminally charged, etc… they wrecked him, he’s crap.

So what? You could just as easily dig up a story about how some unfortunate black guy got accused of rape, and everybody pre-judged him and freaked out about it, only to find out in the end that he’s innocent, and didn’t get a fair trial, etc etc. And there too, there’s some racist prosecutor who deserves to lose his job and get publicly screwed too.

There are stupid and crazy people of all kinds; they should be recognized and ignored, and if they’re dangerous or causing trouble they should be controlled. The fact that the mainstream media loves to give retarded people an audience is nothing new, that’s another problem.

I dunno, I suppose it’s primarily white people around here I guess, with maybe 40 percent being of african or eastern descent. Of that group, maybe half of them were born here (making them totally normal) and the other half were immigrants of some kind. They can be an unpredictable group – some are great, and some are totally insane, but all of them are really foreign. Things usually tend to smooth out the longer they’ve been here.

As far as crime goes, the only notable problems are around kids in certain neighborhoods, teenage gangster wannabes who rob banks without covering their face when they do it. The police harvest them like corn.

Throw out the childish remarks and the rest of the grown-ups can all agree what happened that night is symbolic of what occurs daily in all cities in America. Cowards ambush from behind. Prepare, protect and fight back.

Nanibold is like a live lobster that is caught and plopped in the water that is slowing starting to boil but the lobster fails to note it until it’s too late. Nothing ‘vague’ about the time we’re in…unless….you’re like that lobster that’s about to be cooked. It was not that long ago that things were different. Put it this way…..if you were in a comma for forty years and you woke up today…what would you think about our ‘progress’? Is mankind more humane? More united? More prone to peacful coexsistance? The facts speak for themselves. Another bible verse that I know you’ll hate is Daniel 2 where it speaks of mankind be hopelessly divided, like ‘iron that does not mix with moist clay’ in the last days. Funny how people who never read the bible are the first to discount what it says. Don’t listen to what some so called preacher says it says….read it for yourself. Then pray for understanding and listen for that ‘knock’ at your door.

Let’s look at the political demographic in that area, I think it will back up what I’m saying. I live in Charlotte and I see it daily, with crime rates soaring, w are actually letting convicted felons out of jail because of overcrowding while hiding behind the “civil rights” ideal, instead of building more jails to house the CONVICTED lifers. But maybe prison construction isn’t “shovel ready”. The liberal rallying cry where I used to live in upstate New York and worked as a correctional officer, was ,”fewer prisons-more schools!” Well, how is that working out for California? New York? Massachussets? Michigan? Connecticut? All states with more schools, astronomical jobless rates, fewer prisons being built, rising crime rates, and all with failing economies. You don’t have to look any further than the liberal infestation of the local and state administrative offices and I am sure you shall see the validity of my point.

k train – the “liberals” that you think are making excuses for this incident do not exist. Any sane person of any political stripe can agree that it’s disgusting, that it can’t be tolerated and warrants harsh punishment.

If there are a few weirdos out there trying to justify this incident with sob stories about the kid’s youth, it’s because they’re crazy – not because they’re liberals.

All the chatter about whether to build more or less prisons I’m not going to get into. Without real and dependable numbers to figure things out, your assessment of NY and California is totally subjective. If you’re actually trying to tell me that the facts show that republican states have less crime and better economies than democrat states, then maybe we’ve got something interesting to talk about. But that’s not what you’re offering.

Instead you’re suggesting that if I look at the “liberal infestation” of the government, that it will then somehow be obvious that this black dude smashed the ref not because the black dude is a jerk, but because liberal authorities let black people off the hook all the time. There is no rational argument to follow there, so I won’t.
