Even the inmates don’t like Burden….. *sigh
Lets not look at what if and so on, these guys did what was right and I don’t think it was for glory sake. I am an ex-correctional officer with 10 years service and I can tell by body language what was happening. These men, as deplorable as their crimes against society are, are heroes on this day and we should all be inspired to find the decency in all men.
Be willing to bet Deputy Moon will attend each and every one of these inmate’s trials as a “character witness”. I would be…
Kudos to the inmates for having the gonads to do this. This goes to show you that not all bad guys are completely bad.

That is very true. As a matter of fact, we have at least a million people locked in our prisons who are people who could be rehabilitated. It is a waste of lives, and a waste of taxpayer’s money to just lock them in a concrete and steel warehouse for humans.
The other side of the story is that not all good guys are completely good. If that prison guard had been some arrogant jerk that all the inmates hated, they would have let him die.

i read this story this a regular road jail where they hold like 60 prisoners, No way and no how you would see this in a super max prison’ where the inmates are ruthless, had it been at a Maximum prison you would see that gurad getting taken out in a bodybag.
