I have a platform, an M2HB on a platform.
I taped the entire show, knowing that Jorge Ramos would be on… figuring that inevitably, the topic of immigration would come up. I was not mistaken. In fact, I got more than I bargained for. A clip of Obama's campaign promise to reform immigration within the 1st year was included. Ramos called this out. "La Promesa de Obama" (Obama's promise) has been broken. Ramos noted the downward slide of hispanic support for Obama, so far a net loss of arguably 12% (I can defend that this number is VERY CONSERVATIVE—the actual is closer to 20's.) Well, naturally, (the white-haired guy commentator—sorry, forgot his name) rushed to Obama's defense, saying there was just too much on Obama's plate these last 18 mos., etc, etc.. Tucker chimed in, in her not so subtle fashion, of course, blaming it all on Bush. According to Tucker, it is the inaction going all the way back to 2007, that is the real problem with immigration reform.
George Will's wisdom was noticeably missing this week. He would've appropriately placed them all in their respective time out corners.
Oh boy, here comes the bashing.

Sarah doesn't need to be RNC chairman…she is much more important than that. Steele worked his way around the camp and found a spot about the same time O came on the tube. He has problems for sure but I say lets get over it and let him move on in January. The party and independents are doing a pretty good job of finding new blood for congress on their own. The real problem is getting reps to DC who will be independent and representative of the people-not bought out by big businesses and Soros. Term limits are needed more than a replacement for Steele.
That size matters is arguable; that color matter is indisputable. The Repubs don't dare fire their main house negro and gaffeman knows it.
I agree with one thing…past administrations have not been able to get CONGRESS to address illegal immigration. It is not a voter friendly subject. So yes, it goes back a long way but look where "no action" has taken us today. If I were a citizen of AZ or S. Texax, I would sue somebody. I would sit in the capitol and do a Cincy Sheehan thing to bring attention to the fact that my home and property are not being protected by the Prez and Congress of the US. Close the border and do it now.
The Republicans need to deal of this unfortunate distraction. Steele is a good man but he isn't up to the job.
Lt. Col. West would be a great replacement for Steele, not because West is an African American, but because he 'gets it'; he understands the "inconvenient truth" of what Obama is doing to our country and he isn't afraid to tell it like it is.
Put Lt. Col. West in charge of the RNC and I'll send in $100 the same day.

The Republicans typically back down from unpleasant situations, but it's high time that losses be cut. Too many indicators have exposed Steele as a mole/RINO. The best solution, in my humble opinion, is to replace Steele with another black republican… this would defuse any and all accusations of racism… then, it could be called what it is….. incompetence, at the very least.. Lt. Col. West would be the ideal strategic choice.
