Female Dem Rep: Congress Could Pass Health Reform if Men Were ‘Sent Home’

Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-N.H.): "We go to the ladies room and the Republican women and the Democratic women and we just roll our eyes."

More of the progressive narrative. It’s a tax, stupi!

Peace Sister   January 24th, 2010 - 9:15 pm

Why are women allowed to be sexist?

Terry   January 24th, 2010 - 9:20 pm

More proof women should have never been allowed to vote. Another example of how Muslims have it right and the communist Jews have used hoity-toity notions to advance their form of fascist-Leftism.

Senator Bob Packwood   January 24th, 2010 - 9:24 pm

And this isn’t sexist? If a man had said this, it would be his absolute demise. We men need our own version of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to go around demanding a resignation or apology now and then.

myleftbrain   January 24th, 2010 - 9:26 pm

I have my doubts about “her” gender. I believe they call that an Adam’s apple.

MarcusP   January 24th, 2010 - 9:30 pm

Sadly, there may be some truth to this. It is a known fact that a greater percentage of women than men will give up liberty and freedom in exchange for security and less risk in life. The problem is, if you give up your freedom, you will eventually lose your security, too. And they deserve to. But for some reason, many don’t understand the ramifications of this trade-off. Clueless.

TomFarrell   January 24th, 2010 - 9:43 pm

The women all sit around discussing this in the ladies room? What is it with women and ladies rooms anyway? It’s statements like hers that make it really hard for us men to take women seriously.

Jasper McGillicuddy   January 24th, 2010 - 9:48 pm

How sweet.
You sexist b it ch.

KMA!

anon   January 24th, 2010 - 9:52 pm

Send Pelosi home to San Francisco.

Austin Powers   January 24th, 2010 - 9:53 pm

Shes a man, baby–Yeah!

eveh   January 24th, 2010 - 10:09 pm

She does not speak for conservative women. We don’t beleive in jerking a baby from the womb and killing it. She only speaks for liberal, women who like to sleep around and not have to pay the piper when they get pregnant. Oh excuse me, “make a mistake” as Obama called a baby.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   January 24th, 2010 - 10:21 pm

America…as if the ‘mentally unstable’ Democratzi males aren’t crazy enough…here we have a female version as looney as she can be!

This is the year, America, this is the year to clean house!

—————————————

THE VOTER REVOLUTION OF 2010 HAS BEGUN!

1. WE ARE INFORMED
2. WE ARE INVOLVED
3. WE ARE GETTING OUT THE VOTE!

ONE (1) SLUG DOWN…FIFTY-NINE (59) SLUGS TO GO – GUARANTEED!

IMPEACHMENT OR THE ‘ORIGINAL’ RECORDS OF BIRTH…IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME…AND 2010 WILL BE THE TIME!

alexxxbond   January 24th, 2010 - 10:23 pm

Doesn’t Michelle Bachmann use the ladies room? Or do upper and lower houses have exclusive restrooms. I think Ms Shea-Porter is as out of touch with her colleagues as she is with the citizen’s at large. The vast majority of Americans do not want the government’s health care bill passed so what is her point? Maybe everyone is rolling their eyes at her because she’s an idiot and no one is quite rude enough to tell her she’s and idiot. Just a thought from the voting peanut gallery.

Shiori   January 24th, 2010 - 10:27 pm

We know lady, we know. We’ve already seen a great deal of the damage done by the feminist movement. Why, just look at how many people Margaret Sanger alone has killed. And the Pelosis, Napalitano & Boxers, of the world are a blight on any free society. Indeed, leftism is the worldview of an hysterical girl. Like Keith Olbermann.

But don’t gives us that nonsense that women, left to their own devices, without male involvement, would accomplish so much more. Women can’t even cooperate for more than 5 minutes in a small office environment or a family gathering without trying to sabotage one another. It’s like Lord of the flies in under an hour.

Thor   January 24th, 2010 - 10:33 pm

She’s lying. Oh sure, they do go to the ladies room and they do roll their eyes, but it’s because of the smell in there!

Mom of 2   January 24th, 2010 - 10:36 pm

What a nonsensical thing for Shea-Porter to say.

demdicks   January 24th, 2010 - 10:48 pm

I know that is not a true statement. If it is true there shouldn’t be any women in congress.

happy   January 24th, 2010 - 10:53 pm

Yeah. It’s hard to be a totalitarian in a country that’s still free.

DA BEARRRS   January 24th, 2010 - 11:02 pm

Why are all these Democratic women such pigboats?

They should be called the Skank Wing of the Democratic Party.

robert jones   January 24th, 2010 - 11:13 pm

Women making deals in closed door gas filled backrooms er restrooms.

john   January 24th, 2010 - 11:17 pm

.

Oh yeah, women rule. That’s why this liberal pie hole was AWOL when Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman were getting trashed by liberal media? Once a hypocrites, always a hypocrite.

.

comcass   January 24th, 2010 - 11:22 pm

Isin’t there at least one democrat with at least one eye and half sense?

Veritas   January 24th, 2010 - 11:28 pm

Imagine if a man had said the same thing? Sexism talk would be the top story! How about I answer in the same vein. “The women in congress could agree as long as it was not that time of the month”! She should be impeached for the lack of civility as a public official!

Charles   January 24th, 2010 - 11:44 pm

What a sexist!! If men or a man said that like Veritas said, there would be hell to pay. Big time double standard and of course the word hypocrite comes to mind.

Not In My Lifetime   January 24th, 2010 - 11:53 pm

Well it won’t happen over on the men’s side.

Who in the name of Beezlebub would go into a men’s room with Barney Frank.

———————————————————————

That’s really rather brilliant of you, Terry, as single-celled organisms go …

More proof liberals are hate-filled liars. They want ‘equality’ for nobody but themselves.

As to the Congresswoman, she should be made to stand on the floor of the House and apologize for the sexist remark, or never have anything to do or say with any sexist charge leveled at a male Congressman in the future.

jujubee   January 25th, 2010 - 12:08 am

@ Terry…

you said…”Another example of how Muslims have it right”

You know, you should really put your life where your mouth is and go live in a muslim country, if you feel they have it so “right”.

Of course, you don’t really believe in what you say, you’re just pandering cuz it’s hip to do so.

Snailmailtrucker   January 25th, 2010 - 12:15 am

We have also seen that a lot more women than men like Barack Obama…
ENOUGH SAID!!

Z06   January 25th, 2010 - 12:18 am

Joe Ryder   January 25th, 2010 - 1:53 am

Is it just me or does anybody else feel the glee of all the backbiting amongst the Socialist in ourgovernment. They truly are fearing the voice and vote of the people and have begun to lash out at each other trying to prove they are actually conservative. Who me anti-constitution? Not me but all those other idiots now they are guilty. All of those men are in the way. They are showing their true colors, showing all what kind of rats they are. Now only true law abiding, Constitutionally minded, Patriots that love liberty need apply.

Snailmailtrucker   January 25th, 2010 - 3:04 am

Well, I guess it’s a real good thing that they are a lot of men there… otherwise we be deeper in this crap than we are now.

What a freaking moron… they are everywhere in our government.

SEND EVERY ONE OF THEM PACKING….LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL.

…. and this sexist woman needs to be removed from her position (in the ladies room) immediately!

pedrosito   January 25th, 2010 - 3:33 am

Is she a transexual? What a face.

SanFranciscoGo   January 25th, 2010 - 4:09 am

The “roll” that you should worry about, is the toilet “roll”. Typical leftist, if someone disagrees with you,
it is important to you to find an underhanded way to get your way.

This is still a Free Country, so don’t feel so great about your special idea(s), unless those ideas appeal to the Majority of Americans. Get it? If you don’t have your own copy, The Heritage Foundation would be glad to provide you with a copy of our Constitution.

Revelstoke   January 25th, 2010 - 4:30 am

Aren’t feminists just so adorable ?

john   January 25th, 2010 - 4:49 am

That’s a woman?

Looks and acts like a man to me.
Why isn’t she on the view?
Or
Oprey

With the other blathering mouth pieces…Can’t think of one single woman I ever thought much of in politics…or any other position outside the home.

Waffen SS   January 25th, 2010 - 5:33 am

Aren’t feminists just so adorable? Uh, NO!

And Rush had it right they ARE femiNAZI’s!!!!!

SteveZ71   January 25th, 2010 - 6:58 am

If this were a man saying, “send the women home, we would get more done” they would lynch the guy. SEXIST BIOTCH!!

Tom   January 25th, 2010 - 7:10 am

Do you trust this woman or any democrat?

Martin Short   January 25th, 2010 - 8:05 am

I thought Martin Short was Canadian?

FastFacts   January 25th, 2010 - 8:13 am

Then it is a good thing that men are there. If you could do just what is good for the people and something everyone could agree with then you could get it passed. That means no government health care, tort reform, over the border insurance, etc. These are such simple things that everyone agrees on, minus the special interests. These are the things people won’t. They want health care to be affordable with options, less government intervention, and getting everyone insurance they need. That is something the free market can get to the people if the government steps aside of some of its own demands.

my wife and i have great health insurance. no one gave it to us. we earned it. we educated ourselves and worked hard for everything we have. thats the american way. the american way is not the communist way.

dennisl59   January 25th, 2010 - 9:24 am

She is Useful Idiot.

Ziggy   January 25th, 2010 - 9:29 am

What a dingbat. Imagine a man saying something like that about the women?! Why, Nancy’s face
would start to crak and melt…. Another Loser.

NOQTR4TR8RS   January 25th, 2010 - 9:44 am

When I hear this woman, and others like her – Sotamayor, Ginsburg, Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, Clinton, Landrieu… – it makes me question whether it was in fact wise to have ever passed the 19th Amendment. And then I realize that we gentlemen have our own issues too. Look no further than Souter, Ted Kennedy, John McCain, Lindsay Graham, John F. Kerry, Bill Clinton, Howard Dean, and George W. Bush.

“Why must I be surrounded by frickin’ idiots?”
~ Dr. Evil, 1997

dave   January 25th, 2010 - 9:46 am

If we listened to the advice of our founders,we wouldn’t have most of the problems that plague our nation since the 19th amendment allowed women to vote.
Our founders knew that women would reliably vote for security over liberty.

Gabe Delfabbro   January 25th, 2010 - 9:50 am

Yes at times I am embarrassed to be a man.

H2K   January 25th, 2010 - 9:57 am

Maybe what Rep. Carol Shea-Porter suggested could actually happen on the planet of the Amazon women.
What we need is for this Rep to work with the constraints of “what is” as opposed to her Utopian dream of a woman-only planet.

Kevin   January 25th, 2010 - 10:41 am

Another great example of the nanny state. Women led the prohibition movement and we can see where that got us.

StarveTheBeast   January 25th, 2010 - 12:16 pm

Thats because the republican women are RINO’s

Red Tide   January 25th, 2010 - 3:36 pm

I see your sexist statement, and I raise you with “If women ran the country, we would be starting a new war at the end of every month.”

vandeg   January 26th, 2010 - 7:07 am

oh its all the men who are to blame, so is it safe to say its all the womens fault my shirt isn’t pressed and food isn’t on the table?
