Mexican Nationals = illegal immigrant. Massive pot growing operation = profits for their bosses, who are either Drug Cartel members managing their vast syndicates throughout American communities who turn a blind eye to illegal immigrants or publicize ‘amnesty’, or are part of a network of American born pot growing millionaires who have advanced an industry given its sea legs in the hills of Humbolt County, California, starting the early 70’s. Either way, it is big business and systemic in the American culture. Mexican nationals. Maybe. Employees. For sure. Personally, I think pot should be legalized, so my acrimony is not over the “killer weed”. This farm is one of thousands throughout North America. Tens of thousands. This one in a national forest. What a legacy. Pot millionaires are assimilated into communities throughout the west. Just follow the growing seasons, water and remote mountain areas. The Drug Cartels, meanwhile, keep funneling cheap labor and good cover for their operations into American cities. Not a pretty picture. Just a fact.
