FAA Computer Glitch Delays Air Travel Across U.S.

Fox News: An FAA computer malfunction involving access to flight plans caused nationwide flight cancellations and delays Thursday. The glitch was fixed by mid-morning. The FAA said the computer system was up and running again before 10 a.m. EST. But flights across the United States will likely continue to be affected throughout the day. The Federal Aviation Administration's automated computer systems couldn't retrieve flight plans and in some cases they had to be inputted by hand, a spokeswoman said earlier.

Could this be cyber attack? Let’s take a step back and look at what has happened in the past. Hackers entered the infrastructure of our utilities through government intranets and were able to access secret information and look around. The next day it was claimed that this may be have been Chinese Hackers. The day after that a report came out that those that hacked the system could have created a back door for future use.

The Government needed time of surveillance free air space to fly in a number of terrorists from around the globe to perform the next US planned attack on America. Just a theory.

Is the computer that went down one of those that are so outdated they don’t make parts for them any more. The fasted way to get the airports upgraded to the latest safety items is to make it MANDATORY for politicians to fly on them instead of corporate jets or military planes. In a very short time they will be they safest they can be.

It all depends on who is in the plane. Since politicians get free rides on corporate or military planes, they don’t worry about the rest of us. How much money did Nancy want for HER fleet of planes? But they can’t find the money to make our airports safe!!
