I concur with Joe Klein’s definition of sedition in this video, as “conduct or language inciting rebellion against the authority of a state”. I also believe that the highest “authority” in our Republic is the United States Constitution. So, given this, we can accurately state that anyone who engages in conduct or language inciting rebellion against the COnstitution is, by definition, a seditionist.

I wouldn’t consider all of these to be “accomplishments”, but your statements are factual. However, let’s consider some of them further.
1) The Stock market is up over 25%
A positive sign that recovery is under way. However, time will tell if this a sucker’s rally. The worse may be yet to come. I fear that the worst lies ahead. I hope I am wrong.
2) He has sent 30,000 extra troops to Afghanistan to stabilize the country
Meanwhile, the job of securing our borders remains unfinished. The project to build a fence along the border with Mexico was quietly cancelled during the din of the health care debate. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) states that tens of thousands of OTMs, (“other than Mexicans”) invade our homeland each year. They do know know the actual number. Their statistics for 2005 show that of the 98,000 illegal aliens detained by the U.S. Border Patrol from countries other than Mexico (OTMs) 70 percent (68,800) were immediately released into the interior of the U.S. Do you have factual data that would lead us to believe that the Obama administration has put a stop to this?
Our own CIA tells us that the primary reason for the 9-11 attacks was blowback from our intervention in the Middle East. Our response? Invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, and an unConstitutional, undeclared war in Pakistan, fought primarily by the CIA. And, with all the hundreds of billions of dollars spent, and all the civilians killed, maimed and orphaned, and all the American soldiers killed or permamently scarred, you can still be blown out of the sky on Christmas day by an Islamic radical with a bomb in his tighty whiteys. You can still be shot down like a dog on a U.S. Army base, where our own soldiers are disarmed for their own “safety”. And women are still preparing to plant explosives inside breast implants, to kill Americans, all because of what we are doing in their part of the world.
3) The economy is growing again (3-6% GDP growth in 2010)
I hope it continues. However, all the signs are there that catastrophe lies ahead. The causes of this crash are, excessive government spending, excessive private and public debt, and government interference in the markets. The Obama administration remedy? Historic spending, and historic debt.
4) Job growth is now at the highest rate in three years.
How can it last?
5) He signed a bill allowing loaded firearms in national parks.
To his credit. Carrying firearms in defense of one’s self, one’s property, and in defense of public safety is an essential right.
6) He’s completing the mission in Iraq.
Which mission? Finding WMD’s, which was our reason for entering the country? Or exporting “Democracy”? Does “completing the mission” include building a 104 acre embassy? Does it also include five permanent….excuse me, “enduring” military bases? What happened to leaving NLT 31 March, 2008?

7) He signed the Credit Card Reform bill which prevents banks from charging people ridiculously high interest rates.
Again, interfering with the market.
He axed several wasteful (e.g., F-22 fighter) weapons programs which President Bush had also tried (and failed) to eliminate.
Meanwhile, China continues to modernize and expand their military. Why?

9) He placed the first Hispanic judge on the Supreme Court.
Which is, of course, pleasing to racists. However, it’s quite disconcerting to those of us who consider justices on their ability and willingness to uphold the Constitution.
10) He instituted a new Cyber Warfare command to protect the country’s digital infrastructure from foreign hackers/intelligence agencies.
To his credit.
11) He provided $8.3 billion in gov’t loans to support the rapid construction of the first nuclear power plants in the U.S. in over 25 years.
Actually, it’s not loans, it’s loan guarantees. Again, it’s meddling with market forces. Why is that necessary? Is it because it is not a profitable venture? If so, then why are taxpayers being asked to guarantee the loan?
12) He ordered that travel expenses be covered for all families who wish to travel to Dover Air Force Base when the remains of a loved one who has fallen in action return to the U.S.
To his credit.
13) He implemented a $2,500 annual tax credit for college expenses.
Yes. However, when you’ve obtained a formal education, and after you finally achieve financial success, you will discover that most of your income has been stolen, at the point of a gun, by Obama and the Democrats in the form of higher taxes and a worthless dollar to fund their collectivist Utopian society. The $2500 will seem like chump change.
14) He’s retained Robert Gates as Sec. Defense (appointed by Bush).
To his credit.
15) He’s increased the number of drone attacks on Al Qaeda by over 1000% as compared to Bush.
By what Constitutional authority do we launch drone attacks in Pakistan? Has the United States Congress declared war on Pakistan? Is a success rate of six percent acceptable when using a military weapon? Put another way, is it acceptable for the U.S. to kill 687 civilians if it means killing 14 Al-Quaeda? Since you list this as one of Obama’s “accomplishments”, I’d like to ask, what do you think the blowback will be for these killings, if any, and does the benefit outweight the cost, including future blowback?
