Patrick MacManus, aka Elvis Costello, has a serious attitude problem. I saw him as a solo backup artist to Bob Dylan when he toured a couple of years ago. I always admired his musicianship.
But he was obviously angry and had to make his opinionated references throughout the performance. I could personally give a sh.i.t what this foreigner thinks about the war in Iraq. If he was a citizen and I asked for his opinion, then I’d like to hear it.
So, this shows me that he has little judgment in the delivery of his message – which makes me doubt his message.
You’ll find show biz people have a compulsive desire to be loved. If there is conflict – war for instance – in their mind, show biz people want to be on the side of “harmony” so that they come across as “reasonable” which in their mind makes them more “popular”. These guys would be the first to throw the safety of their own country under the bus in order generate more popularity for themselves. People like this can’t be trusted.
That Elvis guy should stick to singing songs about “Love me tender”. They guy Colbert needs to find a new job because his show sucks balls in the ratings. When the Daily show gets more viewers it is time to move on. No wonder these people hate Fox so much. Fox has an audience while the rest of the MSM sucks balls.
