Elton John Attacks ‘Misogynistic’ Culture Of America At Clinton Fundraiser
"I'm amazed by the misogynistic attitudes of some of the people in this country. And I say to hell with them .... I love you Hillary, I'll be there for you."
Somewhat ironic that a male homosexual would be against misogynists. Isn’t that the fear and/or hatred of women? How a man can prefer to have sex with another man in favor of a woman is beyond me. That desire must somehow be rooted in a deep, ingrained hatred for members of the female sex.

I see,we’re supposed to just vote in the first woman that runs for president or we’ll be considered misogynistic.
I thought he was smarter than that.

elton john: old F_A_R_T queen… does he have a green card or is he an illegal alien? HEY B_I_L_L_A_R_Y that old F_A_R_T queen just sank your battleship.

Give us conservatives a Margaret Thatcher and you bet we’d vote for her.
Elton you act like a spoiled child. Show some diginity man!
KarenApril 10th, 2008 - 4:34 pm
To hell with you, Elton! I loved you and was there for you–for many, many concerts through many years. No more! I’m not spending any more of my money on you so you can pass it along to her!
Hillary is a lying, deceitful, evil woman! It’s not all women people are against. It’s one particular woman, Hillary Clinton. I personally have NO respect for her and do not think she is QUALIFIED or EXPERIENCED to be President of the United States. If sleeping with Bill was the only qualification necessary to be elected to office, we could have an all-woman Congress–House and Senate!
RandyApril 10th, 2008 - 4:36 pm
Michael, its because Elton was making a political point at a POLITICAL fund raiser. Wright was doing it at a “church” service. And Elton did not go on to make ignorant and racist comments about another race, and Elton was not on Hillary’s campaign as a spiritual mentor, nor has she been listening to his hate speech, I mean “sermons” for two decades.
But regarding Elton’s brilliant commentary, I hate this mentality. We don’t vote for the woman were sexist, we don’t vote for the black guy we’re racist. I will venture a guess that Elton did not support Margret Thatcher, so according to his small minded definition, he is also sexist. They need to realize that political disagreement with Clinton or Obama is just that, political disagreement. But since they are part of a hallowed group, women or minorities, any opposition to their politics is immediately construed to an opposition of that group. This mentality is a prime example of small mindedness, so up your candidates butt that you can’t possibly conceive the idea that people out there have legitimate ideological disagreements with them, and as such, don’t wish to see them elected. So full of them selves that this opposition seems so unjustified, so they have to chalk it up to racism or sexism rather than concede that not everyone thinks like they do.

I know I’ve had a bad day when I agree to a degree with Elton John. Misogynistic? I had to look the word up. Good word but inappropriately used in this instance. American men certainly don’t hate women. I assume Hillary is behind in the race primarily because there is plenty of dislike for the Clintons. What is more troubling is that we Americans would for more than an instant consider Obama for president. The man is not qualified. Worse, he is a socialist. I also suspect he harbors sympathy for the religion of Islam, which no doubt explains his willingness to sit in a congregation for 20 years listening to Rev. Jeremiah Wright spew hatred for America. Yes, I know Hillary is a socialist, too. It’s simply a matter of degree when choosing between these candidates. All things considered, I’m far more comfortable with the idea of Hillary Clinton being president. For Democrats the choice of candidates is between bad and absolutely unacceptable.

HOLD ON EVERYONE. WE NEED NOT TO PUSH OUR OPINION AROUND ABOUT ANYONE. FIRST WE MUST VOTE FOR THE PERSON WE FEEL CAN DO THE BEST JOB. ELTON HAS NO RIGHT TO AN OPINION.MAYBE HE SHOULD NOT COME BACK. BUT AS FAR AS WE GO WE NEED TO STOP BASHING OUR OWN PEOPLE.THAT IS THE ONLY THING I AGREE WITH HERE.MR.O’BAMA AND MS. CLINTON HAVE TAKEN ONE SWORD AFTER ANOTHER FROM AMERICANS. NOT A ONE OF US HAS AN EMPTY CLOSET. LET’S TRY TO MAKE OUR FALTERING COUNTRY BETTER. WE NEED TO WORK HARDER AT SAVING WHAT LITTLE WE HAVE LEFT.

Who wants to listen to a b!tchy, has-been idiotic queen anyway? And why does Elton even support her?

You of all people should pick your words more carefully. Sir Taster of Sausage.

Elton, you have been affected by the same “in-the-gutter” mentality that is so pervasive within the Clinton campaign. Americans would love a woman president, very much so, and even the “ones” you so callously allude to as misogynistic. Those that truly “hate” women, hate them for many reasons that have nothing to do with politics. I think you should take a look at how many women have succeeded in being elected to public office across our country on various levels. I would venture to say that many of the local, municipal, county, and state, and national voters who may have a penchant towards misogyny still voted for a woman over their opponent simply because they felt the other candidate was more qualified for the elected position. Elton, you should understand that because men do not vote for Hillary doesn’t mean they hate women, it is simply when the phone rings at 3:00 AM, she will hand it to Bill and go back to sleep. It isn’t about sexism or racism or any other “ism”, it is American politics, it’s our right to choose based on our individual perception of who we feel is the best candidate for the job. Remember, Elton, we kicked the British aristocracy out of the colonies for their arrogance and unwillingness to recognize individual freedoms. It is this same freedom, guided by our election laws, that has allowed you to come here to the U.S. and offer support to a candidate. Show some respect to the American voter and leave your aristocratic disparaging arrogance at the door.

So a public cross dresser thinks Americans hate women? He should find out what they think of cross dressers–

Elton John– you are so messed up because of your sin that you cannot see straight. Don’t you realize your Hillary is just using you? She could care less about you as you think. She is only out for one person– HRH. We don’t want a Queen here in this our beloved United States of America! You’re barking up the wrong tree. Some may be fooled by her but most aren’t. She is corrupt and wants to RUIN this country by SOCIALIZING it. We don’t want a country like yours– we want to keep it FREE, thank you very much!
MichaelApril 11th, 2008 - 12:06 am
So Elton can hate on America at a Clinton event, but Wright can’t say anything at his church? Guess it is ok because he is white…
Mike BrooksApril 11th, 2008 - 12:11 am
What a joke. Some twit of a beta male, and an English twit at that (where all the males are beta and all the chuldren are below average), lectures us about misogany? For not voting for that toxic hag? Please Elton, just shut up and thank your lucky stars that enough drones bought your second rate music so that you don’t have to work.

Like most other entertainers, Queen John should also stick to memorized scripts, prepared for them by people with brain.
DJHApril 11th, 2008 - 12:38 am
This should play out well with the masses, particularly with bill and hill smiling and clapping. What a moron, oh… I’m sorry, did I offend an entertainer? GOOD!
People don’t care what you think, you get paid to sing, not think, idiot!
Funny – if you don’t support Obama you’re a racist, if you don’t support Hillary you’re a misogynist! Oh, but neither of them are playing the race or gender card… riiiiiiight!
They both suck and neither belongs in the Senate much less the White House.

This Homo hater is the same guy who last year on tour set up in a Christian Church and insulted all Christians with his sick Homo attitude and insults to the Church because the Church( except for the far left liberal phony churches) won’t except Men playing with other Men’s pee pees as a normal thing to do. he got away with that because of the Left media who played it down.So , now the Self Proclaimed Christian Hillary has him here for a concert…says nothing about what he did last year…has him do a drag concert and when he insults us all as women-haters she says nothing in defense of American men…instead she HUGS HIM!
He is a long time “has been” who is the woman in his sick relationship with a man. So , after being like this he now actually feels he is a real women who understands American women’s problems.GIVE ME A BREAK! he should be thrown out of the country and never be allowed back in.A nd Hillary and that other phony Christian Obama should be thrown out of office.

Elton is becoming more a side-show every year. A fussy, prissy, nasty-tempered caricature of an alcoholic housewife.
First, Hillary has a Canadian (Celine Dion) for her song. Now, Hillary has a Brit raise funds for her. Do you suppose that Hillary can not find American support for these things?
Of course, Hillary changed her tune after the backlash about Dion. But… Hillary can not change the fact of Elton John.
I suppose, as it should be, most Americans of intellect are either for Barack or McCain.

Sir “Up the Old Mustard Road” speaks and I tune out. Elton, your roses in the window box are tilting to one side. And you’re now as wide as you are tall.
One pathetic excuse for a man. I guess you’re a sissy man – but a nasty one.

Who cares what he thinks? He is not a citizen of the U.S, he is an entertainer!
Entertain me monkey. Your job is to sing the songs that made you famous, not give people
from other countries political advice! And more importantly, he is not complaining about
misogynistic attitudes, he is complaining about Conservative attitudes. He is a screaming
bleeding heart liberal and wanted to support his liberal hero. Big deal,, face it she lost.
And the main reason she lost is because of he ultra misogynistic, ultra liar husband!
ppphhhht!
The Queen of England speaks.
