I was looking at our construction area the other day and thought: only an amateur would not consider the effect of road construction on the local small businesses. There has been no recovery and if you look at the figures (unemployment for one) they have been cooked to make it appear to be better than it really is. Hell the new homes figures is broken up and the home sales figure probably include sales from one bank to another.
