That was great. In the original Dragnet episode, they were talking to some radical anti-war, commune loving, teenage thieves that wanted to start a new country. They got busted because they were stealing items they “needed” in order to get there new utopia started. LOL great way to correlate that into what is happening today!

Larse: I’m a hard-corp Jack Webb fan since I saw the episodes as a 10 year old cheering the one sane voice coming out of the TV during those idiotic years. I’ve read one of the 2 biographies on him. He rose from the wrong side of the tracks by being a tireless worker who went to tremendous lengths to research his topics and present police work with unprecedented realism. I would not want to misrepresent his memory. Let me know what’s wrong with the ideas in the video.
p.s. My favorite Jack Webb story: John Landis pitched the role of “Dean Wormer” to Webb, who just sat wordlessly smoking cigarettes and drinking scotch. He turned down the movie as too disrespectful of authority.

It’s been a bipartisian affair but the Right of course owns the ‘Free Market’ idea. the fact is that Obama is a centrist who respsects our country’s institutions.
OMG…..I remember watching this show as a little girl and thinking…this show is as stupid and ignorant it gets. And you right wingers hail it like a masterpiece. It’s every cliche in the book. Nothing original, no depth, spoken like mindless zombies. You have no corner on patriotism nor do you define it. Heaven help America and heaven help Presdient Obama to save it.
