Because as the stats show it is 41% white and 55% hispanic so unless enough whites vote in the election he is a default winner in a majority hispanic district bordering mexico. I am not making it a racial issue – it already is. Hispanics vote him in because he is hispanic, not because he is a nice guy and a good representative – that makes it racial. That leaves it up to the whites to vote him out because he is NOT a nice guy and is a BAD representative, regardless of his race.

As far as big old brass juevos go – Texans, like most Southerners, are more likely to just sit back and let people make a fool of themselves than start a fight but you did notice nobody was running for the door. I would say however that he was getting close to the "tipping point" with the bad language.
