That is easy to do. All they have to do is find the original quote, the source provider will have which IP that comes from and then you just need to ping the IP on some different sites and it will map out exactly, address and everything, where it came from. I read the article Rush was talking about and it could be creditable but I would need to do the same thing to find it but they won’t release the IP to a blogger.

I’ve caught them twice mashing the chit outt’uh the facts.

Here’s one… early in the 90’s I was living in Mpls, and was into a few years of buying The Whurld Almanac. (had 3 at the time)
One day I started looking at nuclear disasters….Cherobyl and TMI, in PA.
All three of the almanacs had conflicting dates when these events occured.

I wrote them in their records office….the next yearly issue was all corrected.(didn’t get a letter of thanks… I didn’t care…lol)

Reason I was looking anyway was-that Chernobyl happened on my birthday of April 26th, and my younger Bro, Three Mile Island occured on March 28Th….His birth date. (that’s semi-odd…I don’t care what anyone says)

I cross-reference Evveerrryyyything. Wikipedia can go suck eggs as far as I’m corncerned though.

It looks like Obama’s supporters want a little government instigated race war. I guess if the German Socialist Party did it with the Jews/Catholics during a financial collapse, they can try as well. But it won’t work. There are too many smart Americans to believe this crap. When a President opens a different opinion snitch line and calls for war on Fox news and Rush, you know that this isn’t in any way American, Democratic, or Republican(in the actual sense of the word).

But let’s get back on point here. This was an organized defamation attack by and for Obama. Rush knows what he is, and he knows what his supporters are. He should have known this was coming. Actually, it’s not very easy. Especially when you consider the period of time involved. Multiple updates to multiple wiki entries. Also consider we’re talking about an IP assigned to an Internet gateway, not a stand alone computer. Using a zombied Windows PC will hide the entity controlling it, yes, on the surface and spoofing an email address is easy (and also easy to detect) but that isn’t what we are talking about here. Meaning that someone would have to get past all the security a law firm would have in place to hijack one of the PC’s behind that gateway, over an extended period of time, and make these entries without being detected. Zero chance at this law firm, trust me.

It was a libelous assault by people who are not concerned with getting caught as they have the power to absolve themselves. It is amazing what people will do when they do not fear prosecution.

Re: Rush bringing a lawsuit against these guys. It will never be resolved. They are too powerful and the suit would just bounce from court to court until Rush got tired of paying legal fees. Doesn’t mean he can’t go after them and broadcast about it, or use discovery, intimidating them into a settlement.
