Dodge Sues Florida School Over Logo

WESH: The company said the school stole its ram logo. Dodge-Chrysler is demanding Lake Mary High School remove all of its alleged look-alike ram logos by June 15. Correcting the copyright infringement could be costly. The school will need to replace benches, signs, even the gym floor.

What the heck were they thinking? Hellooooooooooo.

I would also think that Chrysler could use some FREE ADVERTISING?!!!
Watch Dodge sales drop after this. I own four Chrysler products and want to see them do well.

My guess is they will drop the requirement, they are doing this to get some press and then will be the company with a heart when they relent and then make a donation or buy uniforms and everybody will like them.

Indeed, I would think that dodge would leap at all that free advertising. The real fringe benefit is product recognition that those kids are growing up with…and will think of when considering a car.

Dodge should consider an advertising deal instead of suing a school. Granted the school should have know better.

Didn’t OUR government bail out THAT company with THOSE kids future tax dollars? Since THOSE kids money bailed out THAT company, shouldn’t THOSE kids demand that Chrysler stop using their school mascot logo?…just sayin
