Alot of you are jumping on Grayson for his “Die Quickly” comment, but you are however failing to listen to what the interview is about. He is talking about the Audit the Fed bill. I like Grayson for the reason that he was the first to co-Sponsor this bill written by a Republican, Ron Paul to be exact, the most fiscal Conservative ever. This bill is about opening up transparency on the Federal Reserve. We need this. If you are against bailouts you need to be for this bill. What the bailouts cost the taxpayers is nothing compared to what the FED has poured into the markets. This increase in money supply out of thin air is dropping the value of all of ours savings for those of us that actually save money. Grayson may have some liberal leanings that i don’t agree with but those issues are nothing compared to the artificial bubble economy Washington keeps perpetuating.
While it’s true that Grayson is not a good-looking individual.
He’s no dumbbell. He’s a self-made millionaire that grew up in the tenements of the Bronx. He graduated in three years from Harvard as a Phi Beta Kappa.
Like Ron Paul, Grayson doesn’t need the job of congressman. Neither of these two are career politicians in the sense that this is the only thing that either of them can do.
As a result, these two men speak without the usual hesitation of most politicians that are worried about offending anyone that might be able to put an end to their gravy train. Those rules don’t apply here. Ron Paul could go back to delivering babies if he wanted to, and Grayson would probably just start a few more companies.
First of all, what is so controversial about Grayson talking about the “whores of K Street?” The lobbyists are the people that are paid to work against taxpaying citizens in favor of helping corporations getting more free rides off the backs of taxpaying citizens. Does anyone really feel deep remorse for these wealthy lobbyists?
Sorry to break the news to you, but anyone that is a Neoconservative now is in for even more big slices of humble pie, as America continues to go down the tubes, very visibly, on daily basis. The “empire” is a disaster and our own country seems to be so corrupt that the situation is almost hopeless.
There is very little difference between Obama and Bush’s policies. If anyone here doesn’t understand what is wrong with the Fed at this point, then there is probably no point in trying to explain it to you. I respect Grayson for having the guts to take a stand.
