Dems Launch Anti-Tea Party Strategy

With this ad paid for by the DNC, we begin to get a picture of the Democrat's strategy for this election year: conflate the GOP and the Tea Party, then trash the Tea Party. The Dems are also circulating what they call the the Republican Tea Party Contract on America (get it?), a set of 10 principles that encapsulate "the blueprint for how they would govern." The DNC’s list combines perfectly legitimate political viewpoints ideas with patently absurd ones.

Is this the Crowd that is going towin back the majority ??????? LOL LOL

reality always seems to make these cretins look the losers they are. Poor GOP is stuck with these turds in November. good luck

Anexio July 28th, 2010 - 3:38 pm

I applaud this 100%.

The teabaggers have done the impossible, they've taken this garbage heap of a country and made it worse.

I can see ignorance from my house and it's called the RNC.

mtv22 July 28th, 2010 - 8:39 am

Wonder why they didn't add to the Tea Party-Republican wish list X!-Protect the border and support Arizona's immigration law? Or XII-stop taxpayer funding for abortions? Or God forbid XIII-Strict adherence to the Constitution? Better put up the butter knives Dems, you're scaring us. / sarc off

Davecat84 July 28th, 2010 - 3:40 pm

Stop the Left's agenda, promote strict Constitutionalism and start the parade of investigations and audits. In other words: Grow a pair!

Doctabasco July 28th, 2010 - 8:42 am

They missed "it's Bush's fault" and "the tea party is racist". Oh well what do you expect from the people who's speaker of the house believes unemployment checks are the single best way to stimulate the economy…LOSERS.

k_d_j July 28th, 2010 - 8:42 am

The list that the Dems actually tried to pass this year is far scarier than that.

Unfortunately most Republicans won't even consider some of the very reasonable things on that list. With a little explanation, most of those make a lot of sense. But that doesn't matter to the left or some big government republicans.

DavidC99 July 28th, 2010 - 8:44 am

Funny thing is — I actually think most of those ideas they condemn are great in general, or don't go far enough.

It must be horrible to be a Dem looking at the November elections with a losing strategy and a depressing ideology that is based on an idea that America has it too good.

k_d_j July 28th, 2010 - 3:44 pm

Oh look, they already hooked a fish with their ad! I wonder how many more idiots there are out there like this fish?

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 3:44 pm

You mean that the god damned liar democrats view of what we stand for is supposedly the truth?
Bwa ha ha ha ha.
YOU'RE AN IDIOT.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 3:45 pm

Aren't you supposed to be hating a jew or a Christian somewhere else?
You ass hole bigot.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 8:46 am

Did you notice anything good that the democrats stand for in their video?
I suspect they have run out of anything on their platform that is worthy
of praise or even worthy of them even listing.

DarthShatner July 28th, 2010 - 3:46 pm

you left out "government subsidized" before the word house.

imsailing2 July 28th, 2010 - 3:48 pm

Get out of this "garbage heap of a country," Anexio. Go live in Cuba & lick Castros' feet.

That opinion of America tells us so much about you Anexio. It tells us that you have never done a single thing with your life & you have nothing. Your life is a garbage heap, but somehow that's the country's fault.

I can see a looser from on my computer screen & it's name is Anexio.

Bill_Lumbergh July 28th, 2010 - 3:49 pm

Hilarious! I loved the completely over-the-top soundtrack. The thing that's not so funny is that the Democrats know the majority of their voters are so ignorant and/or stupid, that ads the likes of this one will scare many of them into mindlessly pulling the 'D' lever in November. It's fairly easy to manipulate those who believe whatever you tell them and think on a level that's no deeper than a bumper sticker.

Deusexmachina July 28th, 2010 - 3:50 pm

Oh, look! The Masterbating Bear put his sticky paws on the keyboard again…..

jake98 July 28th, 2010 - 3:50 pm

Well, where to start…….. It's all just the usual scare tactics that the Dems use against the GOP all the time. They are going to take away your social security, they are going to make it harder for you to receive health care, they are going to benefit the rich only, blah blah blah.

Time for a new playbook guys, people aren't buying it anymore.

If they have ideas, present them, don't just attack the other side. The GOP has offered up solutions every time, it's the Dems that are not listening and pushing everything through because they "think" they know what's best for us dumb commoners.

45coltauto July 28th, 2010 - 3:51 pm

That's the minority who is already in Congress.

Deusexmachina July 28th, 2010 - 3:52 pm

Assholeio has vented again. Somebody, light a match….

spaceracer423 July 28th, 2010 - 3:53 pm

uh was this supposed to be against the RNC/ TeaParty??

Because other than "repeal the 17th amendment" Im all for it.

In fact why dont we put Abolish the IRS on the list?
Fair or Flat Tax anyone?

or Tort Reform?

BettyO July 28th, 2010 - 8:54 am

Goodbye Dems! You showed us that we do not want, nor can America afford your policies. Dems hate to pay taxes, but love to spend them. Hey Nethoot… did you enjoy Frankens ugly face….

BobSalem July 28th, 2010 - 8:55 am

hey wasAZZ graAZZ, are you just waking up in mommies basement? Logging in to troll the sites and spew more prattle? November 2010 is when all you liberal, racist pukes will get a taste of the future….GOODBYE…. and no one will miss any of you. BTW, you are RACIST SCUM. Perhaps you and Anexio can start a clan togather. The obummer-cock-suckers!

DarthShatner July 28th, 2010 - 3:55 pm

This is an awesome video. It shows how desperate the "dims" actually are.

Nowhere in this ad do they tell you how they saved the housing market.

Nowhere in this ad do they tell you how the economy is recovering.

Nowhere in this ad do they tell you how they are reducing the deficit.

Nowhere in this ad to they tell you that GITMO has been closed.

Nowhere in this ad do they tell you that Obama's Afghanistan strategy is a glowing success.

Nowhere in this ad do they tell you that Americans love the direction that liberals have moved this country.

Nowhere in this ad do they tell you how small business are hiring unemployed americans to do shovel ready jobs.

This ad is a complete distraction to keep the circle jerking base interested in a community happy ending. Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Mmmmmm

Patton5 July 28th, 2010 - 3:58 pm

The Dems are just upset that 50 per cent or more of us are now Tea Party and are not coming back due to election fraud 08, we will be voting for Republicans, in my district that person would be Lt. Col. Allen West (R) FL Dist. 22-Palm Beach.
One thing these current Dems do not understand is our vote is NOT for sale. Nancy Pelosi calling our fellow Americans astroturf I found deeply offensive. My fellow Americans according to Ms Pelosi were not allowed to ask questions, insulted or locked out of their representatives offices, attacked, belittled, insulted and more, she really gave away her lack of character that day, our country is Constitutional Republic not a monarchy with her as Queen.

Anexio July 28th, 2010 - 3:58 pm

It's kind of hard to get ahead if you're constantly kept down. But of course it's easy for you to criticize because you're so filled with hate and you wont be happy until all of us are in jail or worse.

All I ask is that things be made fair. Things started to look up when President Obama was elected but since then the teabaggers have been working overtime to keep the black man down. Even a chowderhead like you can see that.

metamarcisf July 28th, 2010 - 3:58 pm

Using this convoluted strategy, the democrat party is just sabotaging their own agenda. At this point in our sordid history, who in their right mind can honestly refute the Tea Baggers' major political issues? I'm talking about principles such as returning our government to the principles of the founding fathers, returning to states' rights, adhering to the Tenth Amendment, and most imporantly, allowing the states to choose their own destiny, whether having to do with abortion, gay marriage, drug legalization, direct election of senators, gun rights or flag burning. Indeed, one of the sure-fire winning issues for the Tea Baggers in November would be to induce each state to introduce their own constitutional amendments prohibiting the burning of their own individual state flags. With an initiative like this, the GOP will be sure to retake congress.

cassidydog July 28th, 2010 - 3:59 pm

Is this the best you DemoFascists can do?
Personally Paul Ryan kicks the crap out of you socialist turds EVERY time.
Be afraid come November, be very afraid.

Edword July 28th, 2010 - 4:00 pm

The Tea Party is composed of good people, is solid and definitely a HUGE threat to your liberal agenda. It's quite expected for you people to
do all you can to discredit it–after all, you have nothing to offer in terms of reasons to vote FOR your party.

We'll see in November. From the looks of the polls and all available info looks like Democrats are in for a LONG night of
misery. I myself cannot wait!

Hardciderarrest July 28th, 2010 - 4:01 pm

Forgot one:

XI. Abolish the Democrat Party

azisthefuture July 28th, 2010 - 9:02 am

Newt Gingrich in his "To Save America" stated that we should "Replace, not Reform" the Dept. of Ed., the Dept. of Energy, the EPA, et al.

The Dems' ad uses the verb "abolish"; Newt uses the verb "replace". We're arguing about semantics.

May the Right take a well-oiled chainsaw to the aforesaid agencies and Health Care Reform and all Big Government … and if there is still enough gas left in the thing, use it on Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. Coming in November: Washington Chainsaw Massacre.

spaceracer423 July 28th, 2010 - 4:03 pm

Take out the word "teabagger" and you might just see your rating jump 10points.

Plus one anyway.

thefantasyfactory July 28th, 2010 - 9:04 am

When o when will these fools learn !

It is no longer politics as we have always know it. The country has change and many of it's people have awoken.
Using these old tired tactics just won't cut it anymore.

Shouting teabaggers, racists will only galvanize the people to fight and work harder not demoralize them.

These are tactics of the past show and just how out of touch these idiots are.
They never saw The Tea Party coming

They once laughed at The Tea Party. They tried to marginaliize it, they tired to demonize it.

Have you noticed they aren't laughing anymore !!

Why so ungrateful?

Dave_in_Oregon July 28th, 2010 - 4:05 pm

These FOOLS (with Barack Obama as their leader) are their own worst enemies.

I am sitting here laughing a how utterly ridiculous that they are.
They actually think that attacking REAL AMERICANS for their REAL AMERICAN values is a good thing?

ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING!

REMEMBER EVERY SINGLE WAY THAT THE ARE ATTACKING AND TRYING TO DESTROY AMERICA !

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER !

azisthefuture July 28th, 2010 - 4:05 pm

The video's "soundtrack" is cliche; the video's argument is no argument.

Baloshka July 28th, 2010 - 9:06 am

The White House is conducting investigations in how to influence people psychologically. They know that those who would vote for their philosophy are either too brazening dumb or lethargic to look beyond evil music and scare tactics. It works for them and the 98% of blacks who vote based entirely on skin color.

TpartyPatroit July 28th, 2010 - 4:06 pm

Problem for the libs is that the Tea Party isn't going away, we are getting bigger and stronger and infiltrating the government at the local levels and we won't stop till we get back this country and restore honor. 8/28

Baloshka July 28th, 2010 - 4:07 pm

Dave_in_Oregon July 28th, 2010 - 4:08 pm

spaceracer423 July 28th, 2010 - 4:08 pm

LOL!!!!!

Who has kept the black man down???
The party that says; "everyone deserves equal treatment under the law"

feel free to score lower on the test, we'll bump you a few points.''?

Remember "the Great Society''?
What do we call those 'Temp Housing Dists' now….
oh yea, The PROJECTS.

You lefties have really helped out the little guy in America… /sarc/

Chameberlain July 28th, 2010 - 9:08 am

The strategy was launched when the NAALCP called the Tea Party racist. And their continuation excites me because they look at us as their worst night mare and these Tea Party groups are not backing down. Attack a senate or house opponent, but attack Americans – bring it on. But wait didn't Pelosi say we were Astro turf and un American months ago – or was it she was a part of the Tea Party ? A strategy that actually attacks everyday citizens ? And also they are going to run against George Bush's policies ? They voted for the tax cuts, didn't they; otherwise the cuts would not have been implemented. Are they going to talk about the 14 million jobs created by the private sector over the Bush eight years ? Unemployment between 4 and 5% or their achievement of 10 to 17% unemployment ?

Nodhimmi July 28th, 2010 - 4:09 pm

You are right about the astroturf thing. The dimwitcrats are unable to answer for Obumma's surge of stupidity. Condescending labeling is their only weapon, a weak one that only irritates it's intended target. The more I hear "teabagger", astroturf, and other sophomoric terms drooling from the dickholes of these idiots, the stronger my resolve grows to never ever vote for one of these morons again, even for low local positions, no matter what their resume says.

DontTreadOnMe July 28th, 2010 - 4:10 pm

I'm for repealing the 17th amendment and giving the states back their responsibility for appointing Senators. But it's WAAAAAY down there on the list of To-Dos. Abolish the IRS is a higher priority and I like a FLAT TAX. Tort reform is a higher priority. Stop spending. Do away with the NEA. Do away with the Dept of Education. De-fund the UN. There are a lot of places to cut spending.

DarthShatner July 28th, 2010 - 9:11 am

No one is keeping you down but yourself.

Life aint fair son. You are the master of yourt own destiny. Only you can step up to the plate and be a hero to your family and friends.

Whe you say you want "life to be fair" what you are really saying is you want what oher people have, you just dont want to work for it. You want the government to take if from someone else and give it to you in the name of moral fairness. You are selfish, greedy, and lazy. No one but yourself can make your life better.

Quit making excuses and work for what you want.

When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it. Your way of life is plunder. You are afraid of freedom.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 4:11 pm

November is gonna be a brutal Donkey-Slaughter, folks. And I mean BRUTAL.

RuralDelivery July 28th, 2010 - 4:11 pm

The battle is on. The Dems play hardball–the ends, power in their hands, justifies any means necessary.
Conservative Pubs must dig in. Talk about irresponsible Dem spending. The unethicalness of deficit spending, the immorality of piling debt on future generations. The strategic "high ground" which encompasses all other objectives, is to oppose excessive spending. Money is the practical issue.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 4:12 pm

THIS IS WHY NO BILL MUST PASS

Obama’s New Financial Reform Law Exempts SEC from Freedom of Information Requests

Under a little-noticed provision of the recently passed financial-reform legislation, the Securities and Exchange Commission no longer has to comply with virtually all requests for information releases from the public, including those filed under the Freedom of Information Act.

The law, signed last week by President Obama, exempts the SEC from disclosing records or information derived from “surveillance, risk assessments, or other regulatory and oversight activities.” Given that the SEC is a regulatory body, the provision covers almost every action by the agency, lawyers say. Congress and federal agencies can request information, but the public cannot.

That argument comes despite the President saying that one of the cornerstones of the sweeping new legislation was more transparent financial markets. Indeed, in touting the new law, Obama specifically said it would “increase transparency in financial dealings.”

HuckleberryTom July 28th, 2010 - 4:16 pm

This is funny. Democrats cannot put forward a unifying idea to rally voters because so many of them are so "out there" with every one thinking their own agenda is the way to go, so they must resort to ridicule any and every idea from the GOP. Conservatives, (mostly Republicans), can rally around defending the constitution and the rule of law. We can debate abortion and many other issues, but where the constitution is very explicit, like free speech, the right to bear arms, etc., conservatives are united and smart enough to realize that this basis in constitutional principals is what has sustained this country and provided the life style that is STILL the envy of the world. Granted, many RINOS are in office and they must see the error of their ways or find themselves with a similar fate of the Dems.

thefedupamrican July 28th, 2010 - 4:18 pm

I understand that you have been spoon fed this 'let's make things fair' garbage all your life so that's all you know. And that is precisely what's keeping you down. How is it that people from all over the world, all races, ethnicities and religions can come to this country and become successful? Ever think about that? They're not all white, so you can't use that racist excuse. They know that this is the only country that will give them the opportunity to succeed if they are willing to work for it. Some of them come here with no money and cannot speak the language. Right there you have an advantage over them. In my opinion, it is only your attitude and prejudices that keep you down.

Some funny things happened on the way to the 2010 midterm.
The Republican candidate for the senate in N.H saw her appeal to moderate voters crumble in the wake of her endorsement by Sarah Palin and her lead over her opponent shrunk to its lowest level of any public polling in 2010.

The Tea party candidate who is running in the Colorado Republican Senate primary was caught on tape referring to tea party members as “dumbasses.”

Harry Reid has opened a significant lead over tea party favorite Sharron Angle in a new Mason-Dixon poll.
They should have let the chicken lady win.

doogle July 28th, 2010 - 4:27 pm

Repealing the 17th is actually a good thing as Don'tTreadOnMe stated. You wind up with much better Senatorial representation of the states that way.

BobSalem July 28th, 2010 - 4:31 pm

yeah, you are nothing but a victim, aren’t you!!! This is why you will always be a loser. All other races that have come to this country have worked hard and long to become something and make a better way of life for themselves. people like you refuse to work hard and like a true liberal want it all handed to you….NOT going to happen azzwipe. The only ones keeping the black man down are the democrats and the black man himself. The Ku Klux Klan was birthed by the Democrats as a terrorist wing to intimidate blacks, and whites, who sought to promote economic and education independence and social justice for blacks, yet for some reason all you do is blame the conservatives that have fought for you and your kind. You are the RACIST. LIVE WITH IT.

jdog July 28th, 2010 - 4:37 pm

I am having trouble with this "attack" ad. I support all of those things… are you sure they are not advertising FOR the Tea Party???

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 4:38 pm

I am saying that shouldn't a DNC video occasionally focus on some of the good things that they stand for if they are trying to sell themselves as a better party?

What do republicans stand for?
Are you a slow learner?

Smaller government.

Government at the smallest level first, starting with
the individual promoting self government, then moving
up to the community governments, then city, then state then finally federal as the last resort.

Smaller taxes.

No forced charity. Charity is not the venue of the federal government.

Flat even tax rates for all.

A strong US military.

Freedom of speech, even freedom of speech for religious people and or organizations.

Free enterprise. No more socialism.

More privatization, since private companies do better jobs than a clumsy bloated federal organization.\\

Freedom of religion.

Freedom to take care of our own retirements with our own money.

Less ass hole liars like BPHIL56

NOQTR4TR8RS July 28th, 2010 - 4:38 pm

It is noteworthy that the Progressive Communists, (ProComs), have left racism out of this ad entirely. Could it mean that the coordinated smear campaign of fabricating charges of racism against the TEA Party and the GOP, and repeating them ad nauseum, has finally run it's course? Perhaps their internal polling is telling them as much.

I wonder if we might be seeing a change in strategy, from one centered on a deluge of false racism attacks, to one less focused on race, and more around class struggle, much as Shirley Sherrod described in her speech. Yesterday we see Howard "I Have A Scream" Dean soften his racist rhetoric, and today this. Now we'll see if the other racists in Big Media follow suit.

UrinalMint July 28th, 2010 - 4:38 pm

garbage heap of a country?? I am glad you feel this way…. you should leave it then.

NOQTR4TR8RS July 28th, 2010 - 4:44 pm

I've been considering yesterday's talk about the traditional left-right spectrum being flawed. I've decided to whenever practical, refer to the so-called political “left” as Progressive Communists or ProComs. They are no longer the Democrat Party of my father, so I am not comfortable with the term "Democrat". It fails to describe their true nature. Their philosophy is not "progressive", nor "liberal", nor "democratic" in any real sense of he words.

They are not the revolutionary peasant Communists of the Bolshevik era, although their roots are undeniably there. Today's Progressive Communist is much more patient, more powerful, and more wealthy. However, their end goal, their philosophy taken to it's logical conclusion, is communism, They are willing to take a patient, incremental approach, versus a revolutionary one, but the end is the same.
Incrementalism has brought the “left” the successes they enjoy today, to the expense of patriots. Much as a disease that advances in stages, their approach to achieving global collectivism can accurately be called "progressive", but only when used as a modifier to their real agenda, which is global, centralized state-run collectivism, or communism. So, from now on, I will refer to the left as Progressive Communists, or “ProComs”.

jdog July 28th, 2010 - 4:44 pm

It is tough to get ahead when you are incompetent and lazy. Not everyone has a great work ethic, ingenuity, imagination, and willing to take some risks. Sounds like you might be in the incompetent and lazy category.

Madison Avenue marxists trying to diminish and tarnish the Teat Party brand. Wipe dem out in November. They are truly fascists.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 4:45 pm

Actually, gun rights are specifically delineated in the federal US Constitution as a right to all citizens of the USA. Direct election of senators is also legally covered in a US Constitutional amendment. You don't read much do you?

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 4:49 pm

I know that you're an asshole paid bigot hired by Huff Puff, but still, work on your details. The number of blacks voting based on skin color is much smaller than 98%. According to polls about 34% of blacks vote based on skin color. In looking at the Obama Hillary primary votes about 85% of blacks voted for the black person. Of those, some of them must have thought he was the better candidate, at least 50% of them would normally think so. So that leaves maybe half of 85%, roughly 42.3% that voted for him because of his color.

imsailing2 July 28th, 2010 - 9:50 am

Oh cry me a river…..you think someone handed me & my husband our lives on a silver platter? It's been "kind of hard" for us too, that's called life. Get over it and stop blaming everyone else. Ya, someone just took a look at my husband and gave him a great job because he looked like a nice little white boy.

We have worked our rears off for everything we have. My husband has spent 9 hour days standing waste deep in industrial waste, in a tivek, in 100 degree weather for years. He didn't whine & cry about it. He didn't whine about fairness when he was treated unfairly. He had a family to support & no one else was going to do it because we don't live off other people. He worked hard just so he could claw his way up 20 years later to a decent job. Now whiners like you want to take everything he has worked for.

I don't even know who "all of us" are? Why would I want you in jail? Why would I hate you? Have you broken any laws?

How do you know what I hate or who my friends are?

You Regressives can't stand on your own policies and debate them. I hated all your dumb ass policies when the Clintons were peddling them, but I suppose that made me a racist.

mandinkawarrior July 28th, 2010 - 4:52 pm

If these stupid liberal assh0les had been doing The Right Things, there would be no need to start an anti Tea Party campaign.
This merely underscores their pathetic failure, lead by the dirty chief muslim c0c<suc<er.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 9:53 am

It is a DNC ad and they let the racist claims be done by surrogates. No, they have not learned anything. They, like the president, let others make claims of racism. Obama was more than happy when his surrogates stated that Hillary and Bill were racists. Obama is more than happy to hear the claims of racism against the Tea Party members. But Obama has been instructed not to say so himself.

Did you see how Biden was sent out by Obama to make the claim that the Tea Party was not racist? This is not a belief of his, it is a ploy of his, nothing more.

skipper99 July 28th, 2010 - 9:53 am

Actually, those of the independent/conservative beliefs, should find comfort in what the Democrats are doing> Really, if this is their "opening salvo" it gives great insight of the twisted and crotch grabbing spasms they are begining to feel. Trust me, their rhetoric will only get more strained and devious, the closer we get to November. The Tea Party, is NOT a political group, period. We want nothing more than an honest government, that conducts the affairs of America with the guiding principles it was founded upon. For anyone to assert otherwise is disengenious, and is contriving to continue the devastation Obama and his minions are wreaking upon our Country. It is going to be an interesting 97 days to mid term, as the left is literally going to shoot themselves, over and over again, with their display of how badly out of touch with the American main stream they truly are.

tomtom200 July 28th, 2010 - 4:53 pm

KMICHAELS, back home at breitbart i see. I guess that makes it OK to use vile hatefilled language to TRY and get your point across. Typical. Didn't like Politico? the people too reasonable for ya? By the way, repubs stand for smaller government??? Who do you think you're kiddin' fool? certainly not me.

Shiori July 28th, 2010 - 5:03 pm

Wow. They are really out of ideas, huh? It's looking like their 'Racism' campaign isn't working, so they're actually resurrecting that 'Contract ON America' crap! Ha! They've reached back into history when Newt Gingrich created 'The Contract WITH America', during the Republican controlled Congress in the 80's. It didn't work then either. Next they'll be fear mongering about social security, even though they've been stealing from it for decades. That's another old standard. Pathetic. Laughable. Lame. Here's a clue Demonrats – No jobs = No votes.

Bimmcorp July 28th, 2010 - 5:03 pm

I find it absolutely hysterical that the dems would end this blather with the statement "Get the FACTS". Democrats view facts as an obstacle in their way of championing the progressive movement. The Tea Party will only grow stronger. It's going to backfire on the democrats. Kind of like spitting iinto hte wind…………

trink509 July 28th, 2010 - 5:03 pm

The democrats are helping us. Most people understand or are beginning to understand what a failure the federal government is and how dangerous the progressives are to our way of life. Most people also agree with most of what the dems are outlining as crazy scary even though we don't have much hope that the republicans have the political will to actually do those things. The only people who find this list scary is the 20% – their wacky base. However, the following is something that is a universal concern. Please post the following everywhere and tell everyone that you know: the financial regulation bill exempts the SEC, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from FOIA requests. This administration and progressives do not want us to know what they are doing to destroy our country.

LibertyWriter July 28th, 2010 - 5:04 pm

Hey jdog, I agree. Maybe the Republicans can save a little money. They could run this ad and place a banner at the bottom saying: "Democrats oppose these initiatives–vote Republican. LOL

imsailing2 July 28th, 2010 - 10:05 am

Your entire post is whine, whine, whine, poor me.

It's weird because all my Black friends and their families aren't whiners. They are teachers, correction officers, pilots, mechanics & doctors. Maybe there's a connection there. Maybe it's the whiners who never get anywhere. Maybe it's the hard workers who aren't looking for hand outs and everyone to do it for them who succeed.

You want to talk about keeping a man down?? Let's talk about the Federal Plantation ghettos & what a life on welfare & public housing does to keep a Black man down. Let's talk about crime & attitude & men walking away from their children & letting the rest of society raise those kids.

When is the whining going to stop & the self responsibility going to start?

Oh, it's going to stop right now with me because I have to get off here & go to work!!

I can't afford to sit here all day staring at the computer screen waiting to be the first one to post on every new video because I actually have to go work to pay some bills…..my bills & yours.

Political Lies July 28th, 2010 - 5:08 pm

If Senators actually did their jobs and voted in the best interests of their States, you know, the States they are supposed to represent, we wouldn't have 90%+ of the Federal laws we actually have… so maybe we DO need to go back to the States choosing who represents them in D.C….

di_da_is_alpha July 28th, 2010 - 10:09 am

You're right about this guy. I've had a few of his comments deleted, and can direct folks to some others that are still showing. I wish people would pay closer attention to things like that.

mackycat July 28th, 2010 - 10:10 am

I feel the same way about most of that… to me this is almost free advertising for the tea party! Repeal obamacare and the "financial reform" bill, kill the 17th amendment, make private ss and medicare, give us smaller, more accountable government. Of course they are lying about the tax breaks for the wealthy (tea party wants lower taxes for all) and protecting bp (outright lie)… stupid, transparent lies.

The tea party should also get on the bandwagon of serious tort and jury award reform as the unrestricted, baseless, frivolous lawsuits and absolutely insane jury awards against companies and individuals have been a major force in destroying the fabric of this nation benefitting nobody but the slimy trial lawyers and those involved in the legal profession (notice how most of the dems are lawyers, including President Obamadipshit – I wonder why?). These lawsuits stifle innovation and invention. They add significant cost to just about every product and service you can think of. They are helping to kill America.

DarthShatner July 28th, 2010 - 5:12 pm

You nailed it mg24….

I am the son of a man who escaped from Hungary when the Russians were rolling though eastern Europe. When my dad got to America he had no money and didnt speak any English.

The first job he got was as a janitor in a church. He did not get paid any money. They provided him two meals a day and a dry place to sleep. So he got another job at an electronics store so that he could earn money. a few years ago he retired from a global electronics company. Only in America is this possible.

People like Anexio represent all that is wrong with our country. Anexio believes that he is owed something, that he's entitled, therefore he wont work for what he wants. He will wait and cry until something is given to him.

People like my father represent all that is great with our country. My father believed that having a dream and persuing it with hard work and determination is the only way to find true happiness and success in life.

I wanted to make another comment to my previous post. This has nothing to do with the subject. NOQTR4TR8RS July 28th, 2010 - 5:45 pm

You make good points. Just know that was referring strictly to a possible change in strategy going into the mid-terms, and not a change in core beliefs on their part.

If this is indeed a change of strategy, (and I'm not saying it is one way or the other), we will still see the false charges of racism, but they will return to being more implied and subdued like they were before, and less screamed in your face as they have been doing since the TEA Parties began. And the new, in-your-face-around-the-clock media talking points deluge going into November will be all about rich vs. poor, and less about black versus white.

We shall see.

Eileen for Freedom July 28th, 2010 - 5:46 pm

PART I –

America…just another nail! Do not be deterred….remain on course…to the battle in November!

We fight this war initiated against it's own citizens by our government…one battle at a time! That is how wars are won…one battle at a time!

What they are not saying…and perhaps have not even fully realized yet…is that 'real' America (called by the leftist loons – tea partiers) are not only identified by the Republican party! We are citizens of all parties, all faiths, all ages, all genders and all races!

What unites us is the realization that our Republic is under seige by our own government being run by the puppet of the Bilderberg…Obama the Bush…his Democratzi 'loons' and all who voted with them to put our children…all of our children…into debt to a COMMUNIST country!

So we are united in taking back our government and the way that we are going to do it…is to elect CONSERVATIVE men/women to fill the positions vacated by those we are cleaning house on come November!

We are determined to unite as citizens…not of one party or another…as one party…and we are choosing the Republican party to do it!

Eileen for Freedom July 28th, 2010 - 5:47 pm

PART II –

We must remove ALL Democratzi 'loons' who have hijacked the party of our parents and grandparents. The ultra-leftists, the marxists, the progressives…whatever you want to call them…we have your number and it is up!

We choose the Republican party…because it is where the CONSERVATIVES will be running! Once we take back our collective parties…we can go back to votiing as normal when our parties are again…normal!

Eileen for Freedom July 28th, 2010 - 10:47 am

FINAL –

No more 'loons' and/or moderate 'fence sitters'! You have had your chance to bring hope and change…and you both failed miserably!

Now CONSERVATIVES need to have their chance…to make it right! And it can only be uphill from this point on! They cannot help but succeed in restoring sanity and stability to our great Republic for all of America!

So throw out your nails…'real' Americans all over this great nation are picking them up and putting them in our bags for use in November!

Yes we can…Yes we will…and on November 2nd…we will all say in this battle…Yes we did'!

The DNC shouldn't be the ones deciding who gets the seat. It should be the state's legislature picking Senators with an eye towards the Senator being accountable to the state legislature, and doing what is in the STATE'S best interest.

Think about those states who are having to shell out money for this health care reform crap. Think about how MA already feels about that, given how their own state health care issues affect them (Romneycare). Think they'd want their Senators to vote "yes" on Obamacare? Ben Nelson was not too popular for his vote either.

Today Senators put too much weight into their NATIONAL aspirations and natiohnal issues when they should be focused on their respective states' issues.

DemoRats/Progressives are in panic mode now – they thought we wouldn't notice their take over

I do not know about you folks but I am REALLY tried of being called a racist when it was the DemoRats who are at the root of it.
A little history:

Progressivism = Totalitarianism

It was DEMOCRATS that institutionalized slavery.
It was DEMOCRATS who commissioned medical professionals to proclaim that "excessive amounts of carbon in the bodies of Negroes" was the reason for their skin color and inferiority. (why do they still have a problem with the benign element Carbon)
It was DEMOCRATS that did not like the 1860 election of abolitionist REPUBLICAN Lincoln.
It was DEMOCRATS that seceded from the Union before he was even sworn in.
It was DEMOCRATS that did not like the outcome of that war so they set up a shadow government in many states, mainly the South, but many in the North too.
It was DEMOCRATS that formed their own army, the KKK. REPUBLICANS were hanged by the hundreds right alongside the Blacks, usually in the same tree. It was DEMOCRATS that set up Jim Crow laws in the South to further subjugate the Negroes.
It was DEMOCRAT President Wilson that conducted several private screening in the White House of the film "Birth of A Nation", the most savage racist product I have ever heard of.
It was also DEMOCRAT President Wilson that so admired the Progressive movement's Margret Sanger's eugenics research (number of black babies aborted far exceeds those of other demographics)
It was also DEMOCRAT President Wilson that re-segregated the military after it had been fully integrated by the Republicans in the 1870s.
It was DEMOCRATS that fawned all over Hitler, and his National Socialist Democrat Party and prevented the US from preparing for WW2.
It was DEMOCRATS that blocked three attempts during the Eisenhower Administration for comprehensive civil-rights legislation.
It was DEMOCRATS that blocked the doors to Black school children in Topeka, Little Rock, Montgomery and elsewhere.
It was DEMOCRATS Bull Conner and George Wallace that loosed the fire hoses. It was REPUBLICAN Eisenhower that sent Federal troops to stop DEMOCRATS ONLY with the force of arms!
It is DEMOCRATS that encourage black voters with handouts a life of bare subsistence on welfare – the new plantation mentality is born .

IT IS NOT REPUBLICANS WHO ARE THE RACISTS IN AMERICA THE DEMOCRATS ARE THE REAL CULPRIT!!!!!!
After all they KNOW what is BEST for us ALL.
Progressivism = Totlaitarianism

“DISARMING AMERICA”
By Sheriff Jim R. Schwiesow, Ret.
June 27, 2010

A determined campaign is being waged in the United States that is perpetuated by the Godless humanists who endeavor, at the leading of Satan the greatest criminal mind in the Universe, to pave the way to a sheer control of the people and to establish the United States as a constituent of a one-world order.

Sadly, thats isn't what the GOP will do when they take back power.
I wish like hell they would, but they are still more afraid of the weaklings who demand they be taken care of more than working people who what to be free again.

Matt Taibbi on how Goldman Sachs has engineered every major market manipulation since the Great Depression.
In Rolling Stone issue 1082-83, Matt Taibbi takes on “the Wall Street Bubble Mafia†– investment bank Goldman Sachs. The piece has generated controversy, with Goldman Sachs firing back that Taibbi’s piece is “an hysterical compilation of conspiracy theories†and a spokesman adding, “We reject the assertion that we are inflators of bubbles and profiteers in busts, and we are painfully conscious of the importance in being a force for good.†Taibbi shot back: “Goldman has its alumni pushing its views from the pulpit of the U.S. Treasury, the NYSE, the World Bank, and numerous other important posts; it also has former players fronting major TV shows. They have the ear of the president if they want it.â€

wohlfguy, you are trying to reason with an idiot. It will only end in your frustration and their continued ignorance.

I started to type the same reply as you and I stopped myself. Learning to ignore morons isn't as easy as it sounds but it will add years to your life.

ErikNW July 28th, 2010 - 6:48 pm

They forgot something. They will also TRY to repeal the Civil Rights Amendment. And if they cant do that they will leave it up to the States Rights to do that. Remember, they WANT THEIR COUNTRY BACK! So they might just try to bring back the Confederate States of America.

Common_Man July 28th, 2010 - 6:48 pm

It is government on the local levels (big cities) that is the most corrupt. Good work, Patriot!

Order66 July 28th, 2010 - 6:54 pm

MyKu:

He who might figure
the Dems to be smart, has not
grokked their strategy.

Sometimes the Democrats get so completely STUPID – as if they are living in a separate reality…where tone deaf becomes just plain deaf – one almost has to wonder if there is sabotage involved. I couldn't plan their meltdown any better. Hell, I might be willing to take another 2 year hit just to give the memory-deficient masses a better look at what those smacks are really all about.

This is some high quality entertainment.

wohlfguy July 28th, 2010 - 6:54 pm

I agree, although I enjoy poking holes in their so-called logic. Eventually they resort to their most famous weapon; name calling. Then they slink back under their rock waiting marching orders from PuffHo, Daily Krap, Fecal Matters and the rest of the loony left sites.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 6:55 pm

Ah, Erik the mindless fish is back. You have some serious factual deficiencies dude. Conservatives are the ones that are in favor of basic god given rights. That is why it was our party that made sure that Civil Rights bills were enacted and it was your god damned democrat party that fought tooth and nail to prevent civil rights from being passed. Apparently Erik the fish has never cracked open a history book. Erik the fish is unaware that it was the democrats (his damned party) that created the KKK, manned the KKK and ran the KKK. It was Erik the fishe's party the democrats that created Jim Crow laws. It was Erik the fish's party that told blacks to sit at the back of the bus.

Spanky2 July 28th, 2010 - 6:57 pm

The Civil Rights Act that Republicans voted for in larger numbers than Democrats? That Civil Rights Act?

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 7:00 pm

Yes, I never said every one of your posts included your racist rantings. But, since so many of them do, then you are obviously still a racist, even if you venture out and discuss the weather, you're still a god damned racist that happens to be discussing the weather for a moment. That is why I stated that you are "still" a racist, even though you were not currently discussing race. This is not rocket science. Even while you sleep you are still a racist. You really are a slow learner there eh?

comcass July 28th, 2010 - 7:01 pm

Democrats or Republications they all smell the same. Quit looking for your solutions from among these two groups. Regardless of what you think, one is NOT better than the other. WISE UP!

LibertyLover July 28th, 2010 - 7:01 pm

You're living proof that self-abuse leads to mental degradation.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 7:05 pm

FlagThis, much like Baloshka, is a paid troll working for Huff Puff. Huff Puff hires two different kinds of trolls. One sort pretends to be conservative but are paid to dish out obscene and or racist comments and the others just post stupid liberal one liners, but don't hide the fact that they are liberals. FlagThis and Baloshka are the Huff Puff poser variety, pretending to be conservatives when they are not. You can tell this because they use the typical cliche type comments that liberals spread around as evidence that others are racists.

Be vigilant to drive assholes like FlagThis and Baloshka out of our midst.

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 7:08 pm

Funny, but you never post anything about valid solutions to any issue. How wise would it be to look to dumb ass liars like you for wisdom? You have none. If you want to discuss wising up, then shouldn't you first be wise yourself? You know, using some simple logic and all.

You poor misinformed fool(s). The Civil Rights Bill was DEMOCRAT PRES JFK'S baby back in 1963. It was filibustered by Southern DIXIECRATS which were a whole other breed of Democrat!
JFK was assassinated before it could become law so DEMOCRAT LBJ made it his GOAL to get JFK's baby passed in his memory. And he did over the objection of the DIXIECRATS and ONE REPUBLICAN.

amdg1966 July 28th, 2010 - 7:22 pm

What's wrong with abolishing the Dept. of Ed., the EPA, et al? Reagan wanted to can the Dept. of Ed. Never managed to do it with a Democrat controlled Congress. The DoE is a money sucking monster. Education should be controlled locally.

everette18294 July 28th, 2010 - 7:30 pm

GayboDGaylord July 28th, 2010 - 7:30 pm

Ummm, they already launched their strategy a while ago. You know it as the "Your a Racist!" Campaign. Hmmm, I think I need to create a medal that resembles a military campaign medal. It would be a blue ribbon with a Donkey on a silver circle. It would say Your A Racist! on it. Then on the bottom is small elegant lettering, stating…"Democratic Campaign Medal"

The Tea Party came about because the Republicans got too progressive and lost their way. Many left Republicans to be Tea Party. They are not the same. Stay focused Tea Party. Lower taxes, less Gov't and less Gov't spending. More fiscal responsibility. Stay on message. Obama's deficit this year is 10X what Bush's Deficit was in 2007 and that was too high!!!!!!

That's it? That's the best the Democrat clown act can do?

I voted Democrat because…

- Thinking is too hard.
- I am pro-choice… Unless you choose life.
- I want Hollywood celebrities to tell me what to think and say.
- I am horrified at the Gulf Oil Disaster… We need to raise taxes.
- We need more taxes on business… Gee… Why do things cost so much?
- Working is too hard, besides, I want to stay home and play computer games.
- I am a fruit and I want the courts to force you to accept my fruity behavior.
- I love Obama… He is giving me money from his stash… That's why I voted for him.
- We need to abolish the "Ten Commandments" and have more more "Gay Pride" parades.
- I want amnesty for all illegals, all they want to do is mow lawns and pick lettuce.

Face it, European Socialism has failed, it is not sustainable, their interest on the debt and model is collapsing. The politicians in Europe promise the best benefits which are paid for by borrowing from private banks and offering up the citizens and their tax receipts as collateral. In countries with high tax rates, the birthrate declines which means less future taxpayers to pay for the benefits of the previous generation. This is simply a game of kick the can down the road until the interest on the debt becomes unsustainable.

The USA may have run up it's debt through defense and war spending, while Europe bankrupted itself through promising unsustainable benefits in order to turn the populace in to complacent sheep. We are free, they are sheep with little control over their government. The political class, the Fabian socialists chose another path and what do ya know, same flies different pile of ****

doubldwn July 28th, 2010 - 7:52 pm

The only way things will work is for EVERYONE to produce for their own lifestyle. Everyone must awaken at the crack of dawn, put in 10 hour work days, save a major portion of their pay for retirement and live within their means. No everyone will not drive a Mercedes c class or BMW 3 series. No not everyone will have the great apartment or home in the nicest area. Equal results is not possible with unequal talents, abilities and work ethics. haha you are going to have to get a real job that generates wealth instead of one that feeds from the public trough.

10TooMany July 28th, 2010 - 7:57 pm

I disagree with abolishing the Democratic Party. There needs to be loyal opposition. I would hate to think of one party having absolute control. It would be too easy for one party to pass whatever they pleased without any pushback. And no one to cry 'foul' to the American public until it was too late. Unfortunately it seems the Dems have become the "politically correct at all costs party".

mg24 July 28th, 2010 - 7:58 pm

I have one more news flash for you. The people who you put down, the people who work and pay taxes to support you among others, will not do it forever. We have our breaking point. And you know what will happen when the taxpayers stop working? There will be no more money for welfare, healthcare and any other government freebie. And then you know what will happen next? Your life will be one of the first ones to go down the crapper, while you sit there and complain how unfair things are.

doubldwn July 28th, 2010 - 8:01 pm

Leaderless movement means no one for your party to target, insult and attempt to take down. This angers you as there is no way to diffuse the movement since there is no one individual to attack. Your party has spent years organizing, forming alliances with other groups even though the belief and agendas are polar opposites yet you were never able to draw the same size crowds.

Face it, this is a free society, you are attempting to implement a top down control structure. You fail to realize that because man is flawed, any master plan by mankind is flawed which will lead to failure. It is best to have a system in place that allows individuals to pursue their talents and abilities.

Syrin23 July 28th, 2010 - 8:02 pm

No, we want people who lack character, and sound so eloquent when reading false talking points from telepropmters because style always trumps substance, the libtard way.

Syrin23 July 28th, 2010 - 8:04 pm

I had them being placed somewhere else.

10TooMany July 28th, 2010 - 8:04 pm

Slightly of subject – it's unbelievable to me that our politicians believe they can berate and belittle a group of Americans (Tea Party) who have the courage to stand up for what they believe in. Whether or not you believe in the message you should respect the right of the people to speak out. All Americans should be concerned when our politicians, whether they be Democrat or Republican, attempt to silence any group in this manner.

lindava July 28th, 2010 - 8:05 pm

Love the imagery ! Their "contract" is printed on parchment colored material, and has 10 points…Hey, it's almost like THE ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION….think the "scary music" will win out over THAT subliminal !? We are living so rent free inside their heads that no one at the entire DNC and all their staff and minions realized that aside from there being very GOOD ideas here, they are presenting our agenda in a way that is bound to tug at the heart of anyone who has any shred of love for their country left !

Syrin23 July 28th, 2010 - 8:05 pm

Ah, another bigot. How much the NAACP paying you to come here and being a racist bigot?

NAACP – most racist hate filled organization in the country. In other words, best friends with liberals.

Syrin23 July 28th, 2010 - 8:06 pm

Split that hair much? Dixiecrat = democrat you ****ing moron.

Modern day democrat = Nazi, just more extreme.

Syrin23 July 28th, 2010 - 8:08 pm

Which is why we vote for the conservative, and no you are wrong. The republicans didn;t take over huge sectors of private industry, suppress civil rights, by pass law, ignore court orders, hide all background information, exempt themselves from legislation they passed. Those are ALL democrats traits, and yes, it is MUCH MUCH worse.

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 8:11 pm

Nowhere in this ad did they tell you anything about liberal / progressive / socialist dimocrats. Which tells you more about the LPS dimocrats than it does about the conservatives.

NOQTR4TR8RS July 28th, 2010 - 8:14 pm

Excellent point.

Note that Rasmussen, unlike many other pollsters, poll likely voters, versus just polling registered voters, or worse still, adults. What difference does it make what a registered voter thinks if he or she only votes in Presidential elections? And who cares what a non-voting adult thinks about anything related to politics? And yet, many "respected" pollsters continue to register the opinions of people who will have no effect on elections.

This page, for example, shows several polls, and whether it was taken from adults, registered voters, or likely voters. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/

There are other differences, but the voting status of those polled is a major one that favors Rasmussen.

Syrin23 July 28th, 2010 - 8:17 pm

Listen, this is literally war, and this enemy is trying to take down our country. They have no respect for individuals, the Law, and morality. They lie, cheat and steal and use every dirty method they can think of. This isn't speculation, just read some of the Journolist points, and those are from some of the more civil *** bags.

You have GOT to get angry, get dirty, and be ready to take them down. They are loud and vocal, but a minority. Don't let them bully us into submission. Time to FIGHT BACK!

mugiwara July 28th, 2010 - 8:19 pm

What I find really funny is that when asked who they identify with more, Democrat, Republican, or Tea Party, the plurality of Americans choose Tea Party. So the Dem strategy is now to equate the Tea Party with Republicans? I suppose they think this might scare off those Indie and Dem Tea Partiers, but my guess is this strategy will only help to solidify support for Republicans among this group come November. Guess we'll have to wait and see…

Syrin23 July 28th, 2010 - 8:19 pm

If we actually did all those things, we would be MUCH sounder as a nation, and actually have some long term prospects. They might want to re-think posting that because I don't think they understand how many people will read that and agree with it. I do, and would take it even farther.

Here ls the problem, you far lefties think this country is a garbage heap.

We don't, we American and yes the tea party group love this country.

You are full of envy and won't be happy until our country is destroyed by this administration.

What do we call this mental disorder you have???

I don't know but this envy, hate and general unhappyness about everything is prevelent with far lefties like you.

I hope you get better…

BobPDX July 28th, 2010 - 8:32 pm

Yes Was-Gris, there is a teaparty.

And it stands for freedom and prosperity for all.

Of course you are going to have to go out and get a job.

Damn freedom, all chalk full of responsibility, competition, happyness, family, self respect.

OOP's, I see your point, freedom doesn't work with people like you.

My Bad…

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 8:33 pm

Apparently metamarxist, you are not aware that America is a Republic, not a Democracy. Our Founding Fathers planned it that way so individual states have a say on how this country is run. I guess you could call it, "State's Rights."

That is also the reason why we have an Electoral College — so that States like California, New York, and other states with a large number of people cannot dictate to smaller states that have fewer representatives.

And that is precisely why the Democrats are now trying to eliminate the Electoral College — so the unions and the liberal / progressive / socialists can change our country into something it was never meant to be.

I am certain that the men and women who have fought on our battlefields, and those who have died on those same battlefields, did not fight to see America torn apart by those who wish to destroy what true Americans fought so long and hard to preserve – our Freedom and our Constitution.

BobPDX July 28th, 2010 - 1:34 pm

One last thing…You are going to find out soon that you get nothing from this adminstration.

Nothing, notta.

He is spending all the money and shuttin down all the jobs.

No welfare for you either, sorry.

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 8:42 pm

Right, just as you said 10TooMany, we need loyal opposition to prevent one party from having absolute control of our country. Which is is another reason why Democrats want to eliminate the "Electoral College" — so that they may gain complete control of our country based solely on the popular vote of a few states like California and New York that are heavily populated by democrats.

We must not let that happen.

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 8:45 pm

Thomas Sowell is one person I have followed for many years. The articles he has written are very impressive.

Who says I'm not as angry as anyone else here? But you can't let your anger cloud your judgement or make you sound or do anything irrational. This war will be won at the polls. We need to throw them ALL out to send a message to congress that We The People are not happy with their job performance.

They are loud and we need to be louder, but not ridiculous in our comments or actions. There are enough drama queens running around already!

MikeAgainstDem July 28th, 2010 - 9:04 pm

Really? That is the Republican plan. I'M ON! I LOVE IT! Democrats call us the party of no and I agree. No! We won't get in the way of business's producing jobs. No! We won't steal your liberty. No! We won't pay for abortions. No! We won't let the Bush tax cuts expire. No! We won't cram the Dem's health care plan and Cap N Trade down your throats. No! We won't try to rule you. No! We won't over regulate you. No! We won't hinder you from trying to achieve. No! We won't penalize you for achieving. No! We won't kowtow to unions who's only objective is not to make things better for workers, but to take over business and destroy our country. No! We won't subvert the Constitution in an effort to guarantee our elite status. I love the party of NO! So should you.

10TooMany July 28th, 2010 - 9:05 pm

The only way to truly prevent this is to get people involved. Too many times you hear people say that their vote doesn't count. They have to be persuaded otherwise. And we all need to be badgering our elected officials via fax, email or phone call – not just by angry blog posting.

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 9:06 pm

i like the ads that show how the constitution and the will of the people have all been usurped by a runaway congress and government that's ruling by fiat. the ones that tackle the substantive issues we've been facing and how we the people have been getting shafted by the ruling class. you know the ones that says that we'll remember come november. those are WAY more effective than this piece of garbage.

i guess this is the best the dems marketing brain wizards could come up with but, seriously, this is, uhm, well, pretty lame.

The problem with your damned stupid logic is that racism in the USA as a whole and in the south in particular had already started to disappear around the late 1950's and early 1960's. The other issue with the south is that blacks were starting to vote more heavily. Now, again, Eric the fish has a bit of a problem in logic, if he thinks that the dixie-crats from the south just magically switched parties over to the party that has historically, especially in the 1960's been on the side of the black person. Now, Eric the fish, what is the logic and motivation for a person from the south that hates blacks to switch over to the party that has defended blacks the most?

Just curious how that works. Suppose you're the racist democrat from the south. It is 1960 and you have been hating blacks all your life and you are well aware of the fact that republicans have been listed as the number one enemy of your KKK organization. Now, why do you switch parties to that of your sworn enemy?

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 9:52 pm

kmichaels July 28th, 2010 - 9:54 pm

JFK had a history of being against Civil Rights and it is well documented. LBJ, his vice, spoke in a speech in 1956 that blacks were getting uppity but that they were gaining political sway. So they (the democrats) had to give the "uppity blacks" a little something. As LBJ put it, "not enough to make a difference but enough to keep them quiet". So the developing theme for democrat politicians was to become known as the party that gave blacks "a little something, not enough to make a difference but enough to keep them quiet." The purpose of these little gifts was to gain black votes. The not so hidden meaning was to make sure that the gifts were "not enough to make a difference", just enough to buy the black vote.

JFK, having a history of disliking civil rights type bills switched tunes as part of the "keep the blacks quiet" policy being developed by the democrats.

However, even with JFK supporting it now (known as a major switch for JFK) many of his dem followers still refused to vote in favor of the bill. However, there was plenty of support for the bill, in fact the majority of support, coming from the republicans.

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 9:56 pm

I suppose you could go on any Democrat web site and "Get the FACTS," but the so-called "FACTS" would be distorted and only half true and in other words only be what the dims want you to believe.

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 3:00 pm

Hey BPHIL, Looks like the you and the Dimo's are afraid of little Sarah Palin. Yeah, I know, she carries a really big scary gun — but it's really her ideas and straight talk that has you Libs running scared.

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 10:06 pm

that'll work too!

ratfinder July 28th, 2010 - 10:14 pm

You liberal filth are the reason America is in this shape, we are on the verge of losing all of our freedoms to a group of Marxist Democrats and you still don't see it….. In November you liberals are done…

MinnesotaSam July 28th, 2010 - 10:14 pm

The only thing was missing on their little ploy was "The Battle Hymn of the Republic."

"The teabaggers have done the impossible, they've taken this garbage heap of a country and made it worse."

I guess that's the difference – Us "Teabaggers" think the US hasn't always been, and shouldn't be a garbage heap.

kentuckypatriot July 28th, 2010 - 10:40 pm

These progressives are going to rue the day they attacked the tea party patriots. We Vote, we donate, we work to get conservatives elected and liberals defeated. We are average Americans who refuse to be painted as racists or wingnuts. We believe in the Constitution and small government and taking care of each other. DemocRATS were coming for you in November and again in 2012 Were fed up with socialism and corruption, back room deals, outright lies and false charges of racism and your attempts to destroy our country. See you in November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

trueblue226 July 28th, 2010 - 10:44 pm

Stupid, they are telling you what the republicans stand for. repeal! repeal! and no, no
These republicans should not get any pay. The only thing they do is say no ,no, no,

You bunch of nothings!!!!!

trueblue226 July 28th, 2010 - 10:49 pm

teabaggers are republicans. Democrats do not need the tea baggers votes. The teabaggers always voted republican and republicans lost the election.

The teabaggers are a pile of dung.

trueblue226 July 28th, 2010 - 10:53 pm

The teabaggers favorability poll ratings is worst than congress.

cowboyd911 July 28th, 2010 - 11:24 pm

So I was watching this and thinking, right on. I agree with 90% of the bullet points. If fact I think the right should embraces the title "party of no" but take it one step further and add "Party of Hell No" when it come to the ridicules spending and loss of personal liberties. Just saying.

ahecker July 28th, 2010 - 11:34 pm

You're a garbage heap and worthless to society.

hollylamb July 28th, 2010 - 11:40 pm

I fail to see anything to disagree with in that commercial. It all sounds good to me, but then again I'm a conservative and love my freedom. I am praying for the best in November and preparing for the worst. You heard this from me first (well maybe) Come November if we win there will be civil war (Dems will whine to to the regime and demand to secede from the union like they did in 1861), if we lose there will be revolution. I know for sure I'd rather be on the side that @rms itself.

leroitroisieme July 28th, 2010 - 11:42 pm

This is funny. All the Republicans have to do is have an ad with Obama's "czar" quotes and this will show how the left truly wants to rule us. The left's long-term vision is to suppress all rights and have the government decide everything for us.

Fair tax, definitely! Abolish the IRS! This is a great step in the right direction. Privatize or eliminate/phase out social security and medicare. Eliminate medicaid. End any form of government sponsored social welfare entitlements. End the Fed Reserve. Drop bombs on our enemies to save money and our soldiers lives(doesn't anyone understand what enemy means or that the civlilian populations are complicit?). Eliminate any gov agency not specifically existing to uphold individual rights such as: epa, fannie and freddie, fha, dept of education, etc… And somewhere in there we can repeal the 17th amendment.

10TooMany July 29th, 2010 - 12:13 am

The solution isn't to not vote period. I wasn't overly fond of McCain as a candidate, but I voted for him anyway because he had more experience and a better track record. It doesn't make good business sense to hire someone inexperienced as a COO or CFO. You wouldn't run a business that way so why in hell would you run the greatest country in the world that way?

To that effect I guess we'll see which party wants this country the most by the qualifications of the candidate they nominate.

TheOldGeezer July 29th, 2010 - 12:59 am

Wow, if the GOP is committed to all that, I might get enthused about them. However, the GOP is so utterly spineless that the Tea Party movement was formed just to deal with the fact that the GOP is utterly unwilling to do even the slightest thing.

mg24 July 29th, 2010 - 1:37 am

I nailed it, because I lived it. I came here with my parents as a teenager. We had to borrow money to travel here. We had less than nothing and we didn't know the language. Although we could speak our native language and Russian (as the Soviets felt it necessary that all under their thumb learn Russian), my parents worked 2 jobs each and still found time to take English classes. They put me in a catholic school, because the public schools where we lived were so gang ridden, that they didn't even consider them.

Today we are all considered successful, some people would even say rich (I wouldn't go that far, because we still have to watch what we spend, but I can't complain). My family and I worked our butts off to make it. This is the only country on this planet that would give us the opportunity. It infuriates me to no end when people (especially those born here) start whining about things not being fair and spreading the wealth.

Sling3r July 29th, 2010 - 1:46 am

You are so right lindava. Our Founding Fathers were quite intelligent in the building of this nation, they foresaw a time when the America people would be tried, and wrote our Constitution for just such a time.

Forget guy who uttered the mantra of "WE are the ONES WE have been waiting FOR." And Remember, "NOW IS THE TIME AND NOVEMBER IS THE MONTH!"

TeaPartyGirl68 July 29th, 2010 - 2:28 am

Please save it!! I get so sick of this it's hard to get ahead because of everyone or anything but me. Let me tell you about my childhood:

I survived all 4 types of child abuse. Starting at age 5 my father began to molest me. He molested me well over a 1,000 times until I was 13. Then I became pregnant by him. I could go on about so much more but will keep this short and to the point. I had a tough start, but I don't pity myself and won't take it from ANYONE.

My father was often between jobs and unemployed and collect government checks. My mother, in my lifetime, never did anything but!

Me, I have always worked. I worked my way through college (still paying a student loan) and I am Middle Class. I work for a living.

But most importantly, I chose to take my life into my hands. I chose not to be bitter or blame the world for my misfortunes etc… It is choice.

And let me tell you something…the only one who can hold you back is YOU!! So if you feel held back look in the mirror! You choose to be crippled by life etc…

Also, if you are collecting a government check and have made that your career vs. working YOU are also a thief who takes advantage of those of us who produce in society. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

My advise…stop feeling sorry for yourself and YOU do something for yourself and stop blaming the rest of us for what you don't have.

Oh and I'm mixed race and I don't like Obama's socialist white half anymore than his socialist black half. I could care less about his race..I don't like his lying socialist thing he has going on.

Amendment XVII (the Seventeenth Amendment) of the United States Constitution was passed by the Senate on June 12, 1911 and by the House on May 13, 1912. It was ratified on April 8, 1913 and was first put into effect for the election of 1914. It amends Article 1 Section 3 of the Constitution to provide for the direct election of Senators by the people of a state rather than their election or appointment by a state legislature, thus effectively eliminating state representation in Congress. It was passed and ratified during the Progressive Era.

I just want to add, as a Middle Class citizen of this country who works hard for that pay check that not only pays my bills but puts some away for my future (imagine someone actually trying to be responsible and self reliant!) as well as enjoy some things now; I am fed up of not only being punished by the liberals for working but also the liberal goal of destroying us, the Middle Class.

At one time I actually thought conservatives were out to do that, then I actually observed and learned the truth. I used to believe the conservatives were trying to create a feudal society of just two classes: the very rich and the very poor. I actually held up the liberals as champions. But then I woke up to what is actually doing it to us…socialism and that my friends is the liberals. WAKE UP People to what is right in front of you…the politicians will end up as the very rich and the rest will be the very poor if we don't take back our country and go back to the Constitution which once had us as the most prosperous nation (before socialist began taking over).

The ad is an attack on the Patriotic Tea-Party protesters who want to avail themselves of their First Amendment Rights. Then the ad ends with GET THE FACTS. Obamacare is about CONTROL, not healthcare, and will be more costly, less healthcare and a bureacratic nightmare; Social Security is BANKRUPT, people need to have their own account; Medicare is BANKRUPT, needs to be changed; Extend tax cuts, when people are allowed to keep more of their money and spend it on what they want stimulates the economy and puts people back to work; Wall Street reform is about CONTROL and coercion, it did not address Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, or the corrupt architects of the bill Dodd and Frank; BP was shook down by the Obama administration and his man is delaying payments to the Gulf residents; the Departments are abusing their power, which is detrimental to America, Children are being indoctrinated in school, there is not a good energy policy and is overly regulated, and the EPA wants to implement Cap and Trade. The majority of the American people do not want this country TRANSFORMED into a Socialist State. So, I say it is the RIGHT BLUEPRINT for the country. Thanks DNC.

It would be very nice if the Left read the Constitution and didn't modify it. They are all sworn to follow the Constitution and yet all they seem to want to do is make up their own.

The Left has now made the term Racist totally obsolete. They have Cried Wolf too many times and when true racism is present no one will pay attention. They have created a world where laws are selectively enforced and the rule of Man is great than the rule of Law. This brought Rome down and unless we get a Strict Constitutional President we will go the same way.

Obama and the left are trying their best to bring down the country from within.

So what is the problem? Most of what they are saying in the ad would actually be good for the country. Cut loose about half a million bureaucrats and let them compete with the rest of us. The part about getting rid of social security and Medicare are just old saws that the dems always drag out. Most of these huge governmental departments are giant nests of leeches that just get in the way of American freedom and cost us money anyway. As for repealing Obamacare, most Americans are in favor of that. It was shoved down our throats anyway. Oh by the way they neglected to mention a few other things conservatives would do if elected such as secure the borders, protect the constitution of the United states, strengthen our military, lower taxes, stop these giant spending and bail out programs, stop Barry and his one world order. Notice, I did not say Republicans, I said conservatives.
