Dems Censor GOP Lawmakers on What They Can, Can’t Say on Health Care

"In the first paragraph change 'House Democrats unveiled a government run health care plan' to...'the house majority (sic) unveiled public option health care plan.'"

You know, being an American (reluctantly and by birth only), I might cringe at the thought of censorship, but in this case I agree with it.

Sometimes the Government just knows better than the people and if so called “people” aren’t going to listen to sense and whats right then we need to find ways around their ignorance. The President, his czars, and our leadership in the House are doing a fine job and I really think it would be a good idea for money grabbing Republicans to back off on this one.

Over It All!   July 28th, 2009 - 12:45 pm

Dems censoring things?!?! Wow and here I thought only the evil evil Bush administration did such things as chip away at free speech and transparency and accountability.

My fellow Americans when you are going to realize they are ALL worthless Repubs and Dems, all hypocrites, all willing to forgo the will of the people for their party’s and personal agendas!

Toss them all out! Toss out all lobbyists too! It’s high time to start completely over and hey we already have a document to go by it’s that piece of paper so many have seem to forgotten about, the US Constitution!

CommonSense   July 28th, 2009 - 12:45 pm

And these are the type of people that are telling us that Barrack Obama is a viable president who was really
born in Hawaii? And we should just accept that ANY OF THESE SELF LOVING POLITICIANS ARE TRUSTWORTHY?
And yet when it comes to asking for answers about the TOP DOG and his history we’re told we’re insane for wondering or asking?!
Look bottom line – we need answers, we need to vote out anyone who has been in Washington DC for more than 4 years , abolish Life Long Medical Benefits for these people, have the people vote for SCOTUS positions and set TERM LIMITS FOR ALL POLITICAL POSITIONS
Oh yeah and anyone who has any worries about this Birth Certificate thing is INSANE! Because this Government could never ever do anything like this and especially the DNC – I mean all we have are the fine examples like we see here everyday – these people are our saviors!
Wake up and question this authority.

Whoa   July 28th, 2009 - 12:48 pm

“Sometimes the Government just knows better than the people” ~Anexio

I can only imagine this type of saying coming from someone who also said, “you know, being an American (reluctantly and by birth only)”.
You should check out North Korea as a place to live, their government ALWAYS knows whats best for everyone.

Look at me! I'm on TV!!!   July 28th, 2009 - 12:55 pm

WOW – Bubblehead blondes on Fox News and bedwetters at Breitbart really make mountains out of molehills – nothing new!!!

In the endless spinworld of Grand OLD people, news REPEATERS like this bimbo ventroloquist dummy should get her facts straight before taking on
an attitude:

1. It IS a house majority because Republicans underwrote the health bill!

2. It is NOT a free speech issue – it is actually a *discretion issue* -

3. If it WERE a free speech issue — then, MORE THAN ONE GOP freak
would be crying!!! It is only one (1) Representative from TEXAS –
duh! Bush country — who wanted to be ON-CAMERA!

4. Language is a powerful weapon…JUST LOOK AT HOW THE GOP SPINS LANGUAGE
EVERYDAY !

5. This rep even contradicts himself when HE SAYS HE AGREES WITH the
obvious reason the controls are in place (TIME – 3:50):
“YOU CAN’T MAKE IT POLITICAL…AND RIGHTFULLY SO”

6. Someone spent your TAX DOLLARS all day and night to spin his one!

7. All the while, as FuX news and Bash-bart focus on nothingness of the
video tripe on the basics of Senate law and discretion – you’re
deliberately NOT hearing about the celebration on Wall Street…
the miraculous upswing in the real estate sector: REAL NEWS.

8. Obama is turning around 30 years of GOP fiscal mis-management,
fruitless Globalization and retarded REAGANOMICS !!!

Funny how your favorite GOP pundits on Fox and elsewehre STOPPED calling this *Obama-care* huh? …BECAUSE IT NEVER WAS JUST DEMOCRATS…this plan is being crafted by BOTH sides. Always was, fools!

Why? Because it’s obvious the US healthcare system is currently one of the worst, most expensive, care-LESS and lop-sided healthcare plans
in the world !!!!!

YOU WASTED MONTHS COMPLAINING ABOUT Change!…but HAHA it’s happening (!) and your beloved GOP is every bit a part of the new plan!

Magyarfrau   July 28th, 2009 - 12:58 pm

this will come back to bite them! I am going to contact my ” Blue Doggie” right now and remind her that we in the fly over states are not into our representatives being censored. They must think we are maroons. We all know the dems want government run health care. We know Pelosi and Obama are trying to shove it down the people’s throats. This is Obama ’s hope and change and transparency– these people are the biggest fakers around. This is not going to help Ms Pelosi or Pres Obama in the polls. Of course, Nancy doesn’t care if she is despised. How about loathed!

if   July 28th, 2009 - 1:00 pm

Liberal Democrats are “EVIL”. These lying hypocrites are unsustainable and unacceptable! Vote the free speech haters out next year! This administration is the MOST CORRUPT in American history!

RRR   July 28th, 2009 - 1:09 pm

So…what are the Congressmen who opposed this authoriataian affront to free speech going to do about it? Get some b–ls!

james   July 28th, 2009 - 1:10 pm

Vote those evil Dems out next year!!!!!

jbh50   July 28th, 2009 - 1:18 pm

Basically the dems want to hide the truth. It has been their standard mode of operation for decades. Transparency is only a word with no meaning to the dems. Its okay though because their over-reaching will comeback to bite ‘em in 2010. I feel a real LANDSLIDE coming.

Kevin   July 28th, 2009 - 1:24 pm

Anexio says: Sometimes the government just knows better than the “ignorant” people.

You have got to be kidding, right? No? The government has never gotten more than 1 out of 100 things right. The Dems are drunk on power, and that is leading us down a path that I’m afraid will take 30 years or better to correct. I can only hope that Obama and his “crew” continue to derail themselves. House/Senate Dems are changing the rules everyday. They seek to silence dissent, control the media, and punish any and all who don’t follow the script. I fear for our country, and the inevitable push back that is coming.

Gandhi's Fist   July 28th, 2009 - 1:24 pm

Did I call the dems “socialists?” I should have said, “communists.” Everyone who understands the importance of dialogue and free speech in the democratic process should pay attention to the scary direction the dems are steering the country towards.

Going Barack On My Word   July 28th, 2009 - 1:30 pm

If there was ever a course on how to ruin momentum after a landslide victory, the Dem are teaching it now.

There was a LOT of false hope getting pushed out from Obama and the Dems, last election, and everything they promised they went back on.

Where is the transparency?
Where is the bipartisanship?
Where are the bills that were supposed to be online for 5 days before signing into law?
Why such scripted news conferences?
Why are the questioners at the “Town Hall” meetings preselected?

What a disappointment this president and congress are.

king Berry and the demon-crats, of whom I will refer to as Americancer are going to crush all who appose him. The only things that can stop him from his dastardly deeds are Truth, Justice and his Kenyan birth certificate. For all that believe in The Lord God, pray. Pray that the people of this country will act on the truth and not just see and wait for someone else to move. Please set aside time to talk to the real King.
Stop Americancer (Demon-crats) now before they kill this country.

I am collecting money to send Anexio to a new home he would like much better than America. Send your dollars to http://www.AnexioInHaiti.org

Ghandi fist is right. It is past socialism. It seems everyone associated with NoMoBama is a self proclaimed commie and proud of it. Gates, himself half-white is the latest example. His entire career has been one of activity in communist causes and association with W.E.B.Dubois, another commie.

The cop that Gates jumped on voted for Farrakhans Messiah so don’t waste your sympathy on that loser. He deserves it. He asked for it.

If you are reluctant American and only because you had the misfortune of being born here, why do you stay? There is no anchor tied to your butt preventing you from leaving. They have flights and ships leaving America on the hour. I suggest you grab one and be done with us ignorant Americans. This country was built on initative and productivity. Its only been that last 20 years that malcontents , whiners and I want something for nothing people like you that the country has started to spiral downward.
I can safely bet that you consider yourself part of the intellegencia. When ever there is a revolution the first to be lined up against the wall are the intellegencia and the artist. This is because they do nothig for the country but spew ideals that are counter productive to society as a whole. They have no true trade or skill. So if I was you I’d make reservations as soon as you can.

SMARTACVS   July 28th, 2009 - 5:04 pm

You guys are being WAY too hard on Anexio. I don’t think any meaningful “History” is taught until you get to the 7th grade. It’s either that, or Anexio feels similarly about punctuation as he does about being an American. I think I can allay some of your reluctance, Anexio. You are clearly not an American. You may have U.S. Citizenship, but if you’re not proud of what America represents, by all means please renounce the label completely and get off the fence. I don’t wish to be associated with you any more than you wish to be associated with us. Nothing personal mind you, but your arguments betray a profound ignorance that is far beyond embarrassing. Your first sentence states that this censorship is ok, because you agree with it. That’s just pure genius until you find out that if others can be censored, so can you. Moreover; it seems you have some inside information that assures you that censorship will only be in the form of this panel’s rulings. The Chinese government believes in censorship just like you. They know better than the “people”. So if the people start sounding like “money grabbing republicans”, they just put them on their knees and put a bullet in the back of their head. Here’s a neat fact you’ll love; the family of the censored person gets billed for the bullet. A few other things that Spongebob Squarepants left out of your education… censorship of speech is unconstitutional and unlawful. You don’t get too follow only the laws you agree with here in dumb ‘ol America, you have to follow ALL of them. And… the congressmen/women being censored aren’t “so-called” people; they’re the real thing, Weird, huh? Additionally, despite shortcomings in the curriculum at Spongebob U., we Americans are well aware that terms like “sense” and “what’s right” are what we call “relative” and “subjective”. And given that your arguments have no basis in fact and rely on wild suppositions, you’re the last person I want lecturing me on “sense”. Although you seem supremely confident that you know “what’s right”, and the “people” don’t, the pitiable reality that all of your conclusions are nothing short of uninformed personal opinions, you’ll forgive me if I go ahead and make my own decisions on morality, subject to local, state and federal law. And you know what? I’ll wager that you’ll drop a LOT of jaws when you inform Professor Squidward that a “government of the people, for the people, and by the people” can NOT, by it’s very definition, know better than those same people. Strange but true… the government is supposed to represent the “so-called people”. It seems you have it backwards.

kmichaels   July 28th, 2009 - 5:29 pm

The adore Obama movement continues …

As Obama repeatedly states, and as Gates stated recently, “This is not about me.”

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:[1]
Has a grandiose sense of self-importance
Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty or ideal love (megalomania)
Believes they are “special” and can only be understood by, or should associate with, people (or institutions) who are also “special” or of high status
Requires excessive admiration
Has a sense of entitlement
Is interpersonally exploitative
Lacks empathy
Is often envious of others or believes others are envious of him or her
Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

Nose in air, you have to do it my way, it is not about me it is the best thing for you to listen to what I have to say. Jokes about being born in a manger. Have you had your hope and change opportunity yet? Has the light come on and you have rushed to the polls to vote for me? Remember though, this is not about me. This is not about me. This is not about me. It is simply about doing things my way. You know for your own well being. Nose in air. Close speech. Teleprompter off.

kmichaels   July 28th, 2009 - 5:35 pm

Sounds anything like Obama’s life?

The etiology of this disorder is unknown, according to Groopman and Cooper. However, they list the following factors identified by various researchers as possible factors.[3]
An oversensitive temperament at birth
Overindulgence and overvaluation by parents
Valued by parents as a means to regulate their own self-esteem
Excessive admiration that is never balanced with realistic feedback
Unpredictable or unreliable caregiving from parents
Severe emotional abuse in childhood
Being praised for perceived exceptional looks or talents by adults
Excessive praise for good behaviors or excessive criticism for poor behaviors in childhood

America…the Democratzi henchmen can spin and change all the verbiage they want…America knows what this is about…control of every aspect of our lives!

Continue to daily call your Senators and House Reps and tell them no to “government run” healthcare ever!

We need to pickup the action on them…the Democratzi are working overtime to convince the convinceable to get their way…so we need to pickup our involvement!

NO TO ‘GOVERNMENT RUN’ HEALTHCARE…NO TO CAP & TRADE

YES TO GETTING THAT ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, COLLEGE RECORDS, MEDICAL RECORDS AND PASSPORT RECORDS!

YES TO RON PAUL’S HR1207 THAT WILL ‘FORCE’ THE FIRST AUDIT OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE, THE FINANCIAL ARM OF THE BILDERBERG SOCIETY!

AND DON’T FORGET TO REMIND THEM TO ASK THE FEDERAL RESERVE…WHAT HAPPENED TO THE $70 MILLION/BILLION THAT IS MISSING FROM THE BAILOUT!

HOW COULD YOU LOSE $70 MILLION/BILLION?

BECAUSE NO ONE OVERSEES THEIR ACTIVITIES…THAT IS WHY AN AUDIT NEEDS TO BE DONE! THEY TOOK IT AND USED IT AND SAID THEY JUST DIDN’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO IT…SOUNDS BELIEVEABLE DOESN’T IT?

Bill   July 28th, 2009 - 8:57 pm

So the people who got in without affirmative action are the ones who can’t speak their minds. The sociaist loser racists are considere wise.Hmmm I figure the more laws you need and the bigger your government, then the greater the failure of people who can’t live as anything but obedient sheep.Socialists are like children in need of mommy government to take care of them. The lowest common denominator is in charge it seems(making the free failures as well)and that diminishes everybody. Many american families have paid taxes for generations, suposedly for their posterity but the no-can do people who need a big brother to tell them how to live have ruined everything.YOU let it happen,so if aliens show up and kill everyone?I’m having a party because then I would know that stupidity dies and all is right with the universe.

To Anexio, who wrote, “…being an American (reluctantly and by birth only)”.”

GO ON HOME TO MEXICO OR WHEREVER YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. MAYBE YOU WILL BE HAPPIER, and WE WON’T HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOUR B.S. ANY MORE.

American patriot   August 2nd, 2009 - 12:45 am

I was thinking about commenting on anexio,s stupid, moronic words of wisdom, but I think smartacs pretty much said it all! good job. but you know , it,s kinda sad that people like him/her are so brain dead and still able to perhaps influence other mush brains! sad and scary at the same time. look fellow patriots; when we do take our country back I think we need to exile any and everyone who has been a so called leader and has trampled on our constitution, starting with abomination-I mean the racist Marxist in the white house which by the way I,m surprised he still refers to it as {the white house). furthermore we conservatives have got to pull together. Investigate, support, finance, and elect real leaders who love this nation under our constitution. real Americans! When America is returned as it should be according to her founding, we can get rid of the laws that give to the lazy, that protect the guilty, punish the hard worker, the law abiding, the unborn and those who fear God! join me at the tea party in D.C. in September. may God bless America again!

Whenever government pushes too hard to change the status quo, there is a danger of freedom being undermined. This can happen regardless of which party or ideology is the prevailing power. This is why the most important aspect to governance is BALANCE. Balance of ideas, politics, policies and practices always preserves our freedoms.

Bob   August 3rd, 2009 - 1:11 pm

Anexio, we are sorry that you are a reluctant American. I am disappointed, too. If you can think of a better country then will you please go there? The Soviet Union is not available but we can think of something. Your comment is disgusting. It translates to “there is nothing you can do to stop these people so just lay back and enjoy it”. Works for Cuba – - not the United States.

Alupo   August 3rd, 2009 - 1:22 pm

Anexio: you’re comments are mind boggling. I had no idea a American could think this way. I hope the cool aid tasted good.
