We are “united” by the excesses of govm’t. The fact that our government is corrupt, too huge, too arrogant, too destructive and too oppressive. The fact that we are being “INVADED by another Country”, people are being robbed, terrorized, murdered, jobs stolen, cost billions in education, health care, and welfare, who pay no taxes, and they support their homeland with drug money and human trafficing.

TEA PARTYers are UNITED…..because we are taxed to death to pay for these free loaders whose agenda is to take over the government and open the borders to mexico, and they are doing in under the BUSH-OBAMA regime.

Who, pray tell, is going to pay the government those grossly overpaid salaries of $300,000 if the average worker is only making $2.00 and hour???? Do the math you bone heads. If our jobs fail…..so does your paycheck and everyone below you.

We pay 70% of our paychecks in taxes…..and it is just the beginning of a whole “new set of taxes”, which are written in the new HC BILL.

Businesses are fed up with US taxes. They won’t stay here and give it all to the government. They won’t stay here if our people are broke and have no “consumer dollars to spend” for high priced cars, homes, etc..

Government wants blood..now because taxes can no longer sustain the benefits, the wages, the waste, the “hidden accounts,” the free stuff, the credit cards, the paybacks under the table, the bribes, or the bloated government.

It is time to get back to our roots…..where Christianity was respected, where ethics were practiced, where morality was sacred, where people were families and the villages protected the young children against danger, filth, obscenities, sex, nudity, violence, and perversion.
Without morality….this will become like third world countries…like Afghanistan. Who use the children as sex slaves….and nobody cares.
They market their children like simple, dirty goats.

Yet our government gives them aid and comfort…..pallets of money, and calls them friend. Lying snakes……they are not MY friend.

Our fore fathers left Europe because they were oppressed by taxation….and by the Catholics. Our fore fathers wrote the Constitution to protect our nation from being ruled by the Catholic laws as were the British.

No matter who you are, if you have not already, please find and see the movie “God Save Us From Your Followers”, a movie about God’s unconditional love and how men and women of God can truly bless and change their communities, and how unbelievers can be presented with a clearer picture and message regarding the One who loves them enough to have sent His son to die for them.

Should God be involved in government? Absolutely. Who else can change our hearts and save us from ourselves? And if you do not yet believe in God, dig a little deeper to find out why so many people over so many centuries have and do. Nothing has that kind of staying power without some basis in truth, and to simply brush God aside based upon theories, whim, and empty rhetoric is a disservice to your own intellect, the person you are, and the person you have yet to become.

@ MikeH… The Bible to me is a history book. It is a journal of events that happened in the course of several thousand years. There is nothing in life today….that hasn’t happened in past history. They had prostitution, murder, rape, incest, child porn, homosexuals, bi sexuals, kinky trysts, adultery, bondage, drunkards, abusers, liars, greed…..etc, etc.

The Bible just explains how they dealt with such things, and why. I have read the Bible…..and tho I don’t believe.. or condone… some of it..I do respect the fact that in most cases it is a good RULE BOOK!

It is very humbling…..and that is what “spirituality” is all about.

Worshiping the Atheist, “SELF” god….(of only self gratification) is very destructive to all people….adults, children, community, country, government, economy and every phase of life.

It’s all in a persons’ perspective…. like it or leave it.

Those who want to preserve the America of the sort envisioned by the founders have a problem: The ranks of the “good guys” are rife with post modernists, Gen Xers, humanists, atheists, progressives, quasi-conservatives and other such, who reject the necessity of God.

These interlopers are all characterized by one outstanding thing. They reject the foundational idea of the Declaration. That there is a creator and there is a higher authority than man.

It’s too late to save America as it was, except by a major civil conflict, protracted and costly. On the other hand, purists have nowhere else to go. There is no “New World” anymore.

Please note, social conservatives, that America was set up and designed to be a constitutional republic, not a theocracy. It was designed to offer freedom of worship, not the worship of the god any religious believes should rule the world.

Otherwise, there was no reason the leave England and the Anglican state church or to oppose oppose the traditional devine rights of kings.

Struggle against those who would oppress you and restrict your freedom of religion, but go no farther, or you become that which you claim to hate: Oppressors and tyrants.

ANGRY FLETCH:

The problem I have with the Pledge of Alegiance to the Flag is that:
a. It was written by a socialist named Francis Bellamy who preached that the government should indoctrinate children to NEVER RESIST.
b. It originally said nothing about God….Socialists believe Government is God.
c. It contains the word “indivisible” and if you believe in State Sovereignty and State’s Rights (see 10th amendment), then you must hold the ultimate check to Federal Power is for a State to seperate itself from the Union.

I am a Christian, but I disagree with your statement that Thomas Jefferson was a Christian. He was a Deist, not a New Testament Christian. Jefferson rejected the supernatural parts of Scripture….little things like the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Please research and correct me if I am wrong.
Still, because he was a libertarian State’s Righter, Thomas Jefferson was still the best President the US ever had, and was heavily influenced by Christianity, though not himself Christian.
