Those politicians that are running around touting their utter shock and dismay at this process and trying to say you don’t agree and aren’t like that…………………well, guess what, yes you are. Even if you get to vote no, you knew that your amendment would never be in the final bill.
As far as I’m concerned, and many others just like me, when you voted “aye” after this amendment was added, you were the vote that passed this gigantic spending bill called “health reform” on to the Senate. I sure hope they have too. Obviously the Dems never learned before they took over the Congress from the Republicans. The fact is that right now they just don’t care what the American people want. They will do what they want thinking is right even if the American people say otherwise. They don’t believe they will be booted out because the majority won’t speak out. But look at what is happening, people are finally starting to stand up.
I constantly hear, “It will never change.” Shame on you for thinking that. If we believed that we would still be under British rule. We would still be stuck outside the industrial revolution, the Berlin Wall wouldn’t have come down, and the Health Care bill would have been passed by now. Politicians have taken the place of mobsters. They have some who fear them, some that admire them, others who work with them to get favors from them, and those that fight against them. Then you have the rest of the people, those that do nothing, passive, lazy, ignorant, or just believe, “things will never change.”
America is starting to stand up against the corruption in DC. You and I are at the forefront because we are here today. Question is, will we stand for what is right and take back our country.
