The other observation I’d make is the fact that the detractors are practicing a brand of racism, that if the table were reversed, would bring Sharpton and Jesse running for reparations. There was no error in the scoring, the white girls won–fair and square–what was done was an attempt to satiate the racists in their fold.

If it was an All African American event, why did they let the white team compete? Cultural ownership? Does that mean I can’t dance the Watusi? Forget bilingualism, multiculturalism and bi-racialism. Obama is half white…what to do? Like him we can’t be both, we must choose…and we best be choosen the color that benefits us the most and then we can go to victim heaven. It’s not about striving to do your best…it’s about what’s fair, what’s right and what we got comin’, unless, of course, it’s white.

#1..I don’t care..#2..I still don’t care..and #3..I think blacks need a super dose of reality..someone needs to inform them that in order to win in the ‘real world’..you actually have to be best..not given a pass..

That is not correct.

Blues as a musical form can be dated all the way back to the 1890’s. The electric guitar wasn’t invented until the 30’s.

And while Rickenbackers were the first commercially available guitars, people like Les Paul had been experimenting with mics and guitars 5 years before that.

So, they can’t do math well enough to add scores correctly to determine a winner.

Give me a break! My daughter has been in competitive dance since age 10 and she is White & over the years the best dancers are White, sorry.

The black sorority was awarded the “shared” prize through Affirmative Action. (Just like the Firefighter position I applied for in my city. I was told by the job center folks, “Don’t waste your time on that job, it’s set aside for a minority woman…”)
From now on, every black team will begin the contest with 20 extra points…
If you think about it, the achievement of the white sorority is remarkable. They took a dance style, until now exclusively the province of black culture, worked hard, studied it, mastered it and performed when the chips were down in front of a hostile crowd. These are the values of their culture. Hearts and minds open to other cultures, hard work, dedication and study. The complainers however, have exhibited their cultural values: They must be given special treatment to succeed. The affirmative action mindset is one of the biggest drains on our nation that ever existed. It imposes exponential mediocraty upon all of society and prevents excellence.

Dancing is what Fred Astaire and his partners did. “Stepping” is just cheerleading without a football game.

Perhaps if a black team was better, then they may have won. The spirit of competition means that the best always wins. Competition is not based upon political correctness. Yet.

Tap Dancing arose when Blacks mimicked / ridiculed Irish step dancing, and adding syncopation from African dancing to it. White Broadway producers later visited Harlem clubs, saw what the blacks were doing, then incorporated their modified step dancing (tap) into musicals.

In my comment I stated “Modern (Black Invented) Blues” not blues music as a whole. Blues today (Modern) is almost exclusively played on an electric guitar.

Not correct, look up the patent. Les Paul came very shortly after them. Point being none of them were black!

The answer to this racism is to stop giving money to Coca-Cola who perpetuated this fraud. In addition to the blackmail paid to Sharpton and Jackson by Coca-Cola, most of their charitable dollars goes to non-white entities i.e. scholarships, and internships, etc, just like most corporations. Make a statement. Stop buying their products in protest to their continued discrimination of white people. Remember, if white people protested with their dollars it would stop this as they currently make up the majority of the population.

This is just another example of how our country has been bending over backwards to placate black Americans. They have an entire month for Black History, and are given countless scholarships, and advantages to ‘equalize’ all things competitive in this country, but when they are beaten at their own game, they scream “unfair!” We have heralded every break through on their behalf, “first black baseball player” “first black mayor, or senator, or doctor, or president with tremendous fanfare, but when the situation is reversed, they throw a fit. Seems to me, that they feel that this country owes them a life time of special treatment or they are being racist. I say, THEY seem more like the racists to me.

I can just imagine the outrage if someone had made that exact same comment in reverse “I wish you Black people would stop stealing everything from us” if a Black cello player won a competition playing Mozart, or if a Black ballerina won the leading part Swan Lake or something. I do not think this faction of the Black population will ever fully understand equality, until they can appreciate that it goes both directions. They should have applauded, and congratulated those girls. It certainly would have been a lot classier.
