The cop’s name was “Detective Baylor”. He wasn’t in uniform, obviously, and asked if he pulled a gun, he said “Yes I did because I got hit with snowballs.” According to 3D Commander George Kusik the uniformed officer conducted himself appropriately. Yeah, right. Where I live, this guy would have been laid out within about 10 seconds by some carrying a CWL. Why isn’t Obama saying “The Police acted stupidly”?.

Throwing snowballs towards people who don’t want any part of it .i have seen full fledge fights broke out for that, just like food fights, not everyone is in the mood for this crap .especially if you tossing stuff at my expensive car/ property. This was not the case of people having their fun stop because they were snowball fighting among themselves.
So instead of killing each other “Washington the murder capital of the USA” they were having a jolly harmless good time. They had big smiles and were pushing spunout cars along laughing and joking and mix-race’s were involved. It was a grass roots Norman Rockwell moment but it was not funded by the government like midnight basketball that’s a big no no.

I have a child in university in DC and while he is not perfect; he certainly does not deserve a GUN waved around during a snowball fight. We have all been kids andwhen we lived in Des Moines I recall a group snowball fight our family was in and we managed to do just fine WITH our local police and WITHOUT GUNS. Officers have their place for order, a given, but what rogue nut pulls a gun and Pushes students (watch video) without him being pushed first ? I encourage all parents and offended citizens to visit the 3rd district office of cmdr Kusik (?) to register their offense for his protecting Detective Baylor for over-reacting. Stay in channels, but contact media, the may0r office, your alderman and legislators on the DC city council to have this detective reprimanded and taken off our streets before he shoots one of our children for building a snowman. In our city officers should only pull guns to actually use NOT wave around in the snow !!

These were collage kids who twittered their friends to Join in on a snowball fight, the targets were each other I saw no malice. You say they were targeting Private property I did not see that happening, the chance of breaking a window is slim to none it was a wide street. Where I grew up we had hundreds of snowball fights never ever broke a window so YES!! please bring your friends over to my house we can build snow forts and throw snowballs at each other. If you hit my car or house with snowballs we can have some hot coco and play Christmas songs while we warm up for round two then we can go ice skating and sledding too.

Maybe you should not wear a dress in a snow storm no matter how nice the dress… I did not see a pelting of the hummer or driver, are you talking about the snow flakes hitting the camera? I watched the video on drudge and Fox News and on this site and it would not bother me if I were there until the guy pulled a gun. However My Bad… I grew up in a different time these punks could have put and eye out or broke a hummer window like an IED. I remember in high school after basketball games having snowball fights and all the damage to my clothes and all of of our cars and buildings, we were very very idiotic and also lucky to survive. But some of those punk snowball throwers were brave enough to risk injury to push a stuck car along, dam them punk snowball throwers. We need no snowball zones to protect people from idiotic behavior and to protect anyone dress nice during winter storms. However I have learned my lesson thank you, I just told my kids no more snowballs and have a gun! and now I am going to go out in my neighborhood and help put a stop to this insanity. Let me get my shotgun c-ya! I am on a mission to stop the bad fun.
Why not just have a firetruck come around with and hose them down if it was really that big a problem.
