Imagine how successful our heroic Marines would be if we didn’t have to tell the enemy when we were coming. Geez, with these R.O.E.s, we might as well print out an itinerary… It makes no sense.

Funny how this is barely reported. And will our Marines receive their duly earned fanfare tomorrow after their victory? I doubt it. Funny how as soon as Bush left office our diligent media just stopped caring about troops.

The reason to tell our enemies what, when and where we are going to attack is to allow the civilian population to leave the area to relative safety.

Of course, mixed with them, as they escape will be the Taliban Cowards that only fight with bombs and suicide bombers.

The ROE imposed on our troops now makes it almost impossible to accomplish their missions. Unless you are fired on, you can’t return fire. If there is the slightest possibility of civilian casualties, you can not return fire.

God save us from the liberal left.

Each decision to defend themselves must go through at least three levels of approval. More if Air Support is wanted.
