Dash Cam Catches Curious Kitten Climbing Cop During Traffic Stop

WTTG: Officer Keith Urban was writing a citation when a black kitten pranced up to the scene and began to push his buttons. The video, caught on the officer’s dash cam, shows the kitten climbing on the Officer Urban’s legs, back and head. Officer Urban doesn’t let the kitten get in the way of his job though, and continues to write the speeding ticket.

Nothing comes between the county and revenue generation

Curious the officer didn’t taze the feline. It was Texas–after all.

Patrick   November 17th, 2009 - 12:55 pm

Actually, good thing he didn’t taze the cat. It would’ve become a “hate crime” thing….y’know being that the cat was black and all.

O'Really?   November 17th, 2009 - 1:16 pm

At least this cop showed professionalism, common sense, and restraint…unlike the idiot that tazed Grandma.

He wouldn’t have been so harsh if it was a white cat. Obviously he’s a racist!

I’ve heard this officer sing and, boy, howdy, does he look different on stage. wow……….

Good job everyone. Just when I thought there can’t possibly be a way someone could be critical of that cop some of you found a way. Thanks Ron, Gandhi’s Fist, and O’Really? for making sure those stupid, robotic, emotionless, poorly trained civil servants know how you feel about them. And all these sentiments being raised from a video of a cat climbing on a cop. Maybe one you should inquire about why that Captain was talking to the news at work and not actually working! You do pay their salaries after all, I think you ought to remind them of that…

The kitten was hungry. To me it looked like it wanted someone to care for it and feed it. The owner may be negligent.
