"I'm assuming you would hold yourself up to a higher standard - especially if you're playing for the Cowboys. But wow, not much I can say about that - it speaks for itself."

Would this even be a story had one of the black cheerleaders dressed up as Britney Spears?
No. Nor should this even be a story.

Fire her she is not upholding the racist standards of the NFL.

duncan   November 4th, 2009 - 10:52 am

There is the movie White Chicks, Oh yeah thats supposed to be funny. dressing up in whiteface

Mick   November 4th, 2009 - 10:54 am

“Why not be yourself, and be original?” asked a black man.

Gee, I said the same think about Michael Jackson bleaching himself white. Hey, but I’m a racist, I guess!

Talen   November 4th, 2009 - 10:57 am

Big deal, get over it

Steve   November 4th, 2009 - 11:13 am

It’s a halloween costume, you dress up as you may. I bet you could find a black person painted white somewhere for a joke. I would have a stick hanging out my butt. I bet a best costume prize would be awarded for cracker on a stick.

Jerry Hatfield   November 4th, 2009 - 11:16 am

You know it just ticks me off to no end when I see a white person get in trouble for doing this when Eddie Murphy did it in at least two of his movies, one of them is Coming To America. More recently, the Wayans Brothers did it as well when they went Whiteface as two blond girls in the movie White Chicks. Dave Chappelle does it all the time in his act when he plays a White man. Now why is it ok for Blacks to do it and not ok For Whites to do it. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong for either, but really, she wasnt doing it to disrespect the guy. She was doing it because she admired the guy. Imitation is the highest for of flattery, so it should be taken as a compliment. When are we going to grow up and stop this childish BS.

StevenW   November 4th, 2009 - 11:16 am

The gotcha media is fishing in an empty barrel again.
No harm, no foul.. Now if she had dressed up like a porn star we’d all care right?
Oh wait, she’s a cheerleader…

Chris   November 4th, 2009 - 11:26 am

THIS IS STUPID! This media station is trying to make more of this than what it is. She’s a cheerleader! She’s not a minister, or a senator, or a cop, she’s just a cheerleader! What is so racist about dressing up like someone of a different race. If that’s the case, we had better discipline all those damn racist kids who are going to dress up like Indians for their Thanksgiving plays. Or, am I so out of touch that that is racist now too? Regardless or the racism accusations, WHAT IS EVEN MORE APPALLING IS THAT THESE PEOPLE CALL THEMSELVES JOURNALISTS!

SLD   November 4th, 2009 - 11:27 am

Media reporting on BS they no longer new media, get over it it was halloween. What if a bleack person did in white would the media defend the whites NO.

Liberal's RA Wasteofgoodspace FOP Frent Fonds   November 4th, 2009 - 11:28 am

Obama says we are living in the post racial America right? and he can’t be wrong.

CommonSense   November 4th, 2009 - 12:08 pm

It’s ok for Eddie Murphy or the Wayans brothers to do it in a scetch or movie – but noone else can.
This is getting old and tiresome.

Typical media story. Trying to force a story where there is none. Sheesh. Guess if she had dressed up as obamalama ding dong, she would have been praised for her choice.

I really hate it when I stumble on a video of journalists being so damn dense and outright stupid! Do they not HEAR the double speak, do they not SEE themselves at ALL!? TV news has got be the next dimension scientists are looking for. They really need to look into this phenomenon.

Rick   November 4th, 2009 - 1:10 pm

Like Larry King’s kid he wishes to be black.

infinitewisdom4u   November 4th, 2009 - 1:29 pm

so if the rapper went dressed as a cowboys cheerleader in a blonde wig,,,that would be racist? or terrible? or damaging to society?

what a load of garbage disguised as journalism.

mike   November 4th, 2009 - 1:35 pm

The way that racism ended is when Black people gave it right back.  The way to end REVERSE RACISM is for White people to give it right back, too!Look what we’re doing with this Leftist agitator "Beltzer" here.  No surrender!
