Not to defend gays, but I do defend the truth. you are correct to say that the foundation of America is the family. However what you may not have realized is that there have been studies done that report as long as it is a 2 parent household, gender of parents male/female or same sex did not matter. What you can say is that a stable 2 parent family unit is much more productive than single parenthood when it comes to child rearing. There is also no report of a higher rate of homosexuality among children of homosexuals either. I agree with every other point you have there though. Especially the science part since a study was just published by dutch and U.S. scientists that say the estimated amount the greenland and antarctic ice shelves are melting should be halved from what international climate scientists have been saying.

They (liberals) have a different perspective on things. If you are not with them, you are against them, no matter what or how. That's how they seem to group us (Conservatives) with: Islamic Jihadist, racists, terrorists, Nazi's, etc…….. regardless if it makes any since or not.

While I agree that the headline is antagonistic and probably not all that accurate, it does reflect a commonly held view that many, and perhaps most Republicans, who would also describe themselves as Christian conservatives, share beliefs that don't stray too far from this narrative.

What this headline suggests is that many reject global warming or evolutionary evidence for political reasons, not for scientific ones. It also speaks to the strongly anti-gay position in the Republican party, suggesting that homosexuals, not the 50% heterosexual divorce rate, is the largest threat to "family values".

I can't speak to anti-woman comment. I haven't seen enough evidence of that to comment. But I think my other two observations are valid. And I haven't seen anyone suggest that science is science and stands outside of politics, or that homosexuals have every right to exist, regardless of the views of another.

It's funny to watch the left implode… their true hateful colors come out stronger than ever. Nothing like comparative religion from a partisan with no understanding of religion. Their intellectual shallowness is truly astounding.

Everyone is completely content with insulting the content of the post, but I haven't seen anyone actually dispute the charges, which while overly antagonistic, aren't too far off in terms of describing the general narrative of the Republican party in general.

Will any of you actually come out and agree with any of the following statements?

1. Science is a discipline wholly separate from religion and politics, and ones religious or political beliefs should have no bearing on scientific fact?
2. Women are equal to men in all regards and have all the political, economic and social rights and responsibilities that men do?
3. Homosexuals have as much right to exist and engage in, in the privacy of their own homes, any activity that all other Americans possess the right to engage in?

If you can't agree with those three statements, then you can't complain about the stereotypes presented herein.
