Thank you for providing this elegant passage. A wonderful reminder of just how thoughtfully, carefully and with such wisdom and eloquence our founding and guiding documents were written. A stark contrast to the pork-laden garbage that "passes", (no pun intended), for legislation, today. I'm sort of more in the "off with their heads" mood at the moment but in matters as complex as these, cool heads should prevail.
