Trent Lott was likely referring to Strom’s position on the 10th Amendment and the manner in which politicians have raped the Constitution. Did anyone both asking Lott what he “meant” by his comment? I can’t find it anywhere in my search.

I am wandering the streets with my lamp looking for this Reverend’s Church..Can anyone point me to the right way? I am looking to use my lamp to light up his weekly service from his pulpit but I can’t seem to find his church. I thought all “Reverends” had a church where people came to worship and listen to the Reverend’s weekly sermon.
Where is this man’s church? So far, I suppose it must be at the TV stations since every Sunday he seems deliver his “sermons” from the studios of some TV station. I suppose these TV stations are his church now, and the studio is his puplit, because I can’t seem to find him in any real brick and mortar church on any given Sunday.

The Dem spin about the double standard seems to be that there is no comparison between the Reid and Lott episodes.

Trent Lott was trying to be nice to an old man at his 100th birthday party, saying something akin to “our elders know better than us”, and was likely not cogniscent at that moment of the racial implications of what he said.
On the other hand, Reid espoused the virtues of avoiding the use of a “negro dialect”. A direct racial comment. Seems a bit worse to me.

Sharpton is no more a “reverend” than I’m a particle physicist. He is a race baiter of the highest order and is a racist in his own right. From Tawana Brawley to the persecution of anyone who dares to question black criminality, he is one of America’s true odious figures.
