The NAACP posted the following on their website: The video of Shirley Sherrod released by Andrew Brietbart's Big Government Blog on July 19 didn't tell the full story. It was selectively edited to cast her in a negative light. Andrew Breitbart is being portrayed as a villian in this incident because he posted the video on his website. Breitbart said the Shirley Sherrod video was about the NAACP not her. He said the NAACP called the Tea-Party Protesters racists and are still saying some black Congressman were called the N-word at the Capitol during the healthcare protest. These are false claims and Breibart has a $100,000 reward for any video proof of the allegations. No one has collected the reward, even though Jesse Jackson Jr. video-taped the walk.

People are claiming the Sherrod video was taken out of context; that Sherrod was talking about a parable that changed her viewpoint on race relations. The video was from a speech Shirley Sherrod made on March 27, 2010, at the 20th Annual NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet. In it she says, …“The first time I was faced with a having to help a white farmer save his farm…

…He took a long time talking, but he was trying to show me he was superior to me…But he had to come to me for help. What he didn’t know was …I was trying to decide how much help to give him.” (laughter) Although, the context of what Shirley was saying was not yet revealed,the crowd started laughing. I believe what Breibart was trying to say was that the video was about the NAACP and their reaction of laughter when she made the statement.
In the same speech Sherrod said, “I haven’t seen such mean-spirited people as I’ve seen lately over this issue of healthcare. Some of the racism we thought was buried; didn’t it surface. Now we endured eight years of the Bushes and we didn’t do the stuff these Republicans are doing because we have a black President.” (Because you oppose Obama’s radical policies in his efforts to “spread the wealth,” you are called a RACIST.)…

…On July 22,2010, Shirley Sherrod was on the John King show on CNN. King asked her, “If you had 30 seconds with Andrew Breitbart, what would you say?” Sherrod responded, “I’d tell him he’s a lie. He knew exactly what effect that would have on the conservative racist people he’s dealing with. That’s why I started getting the hate mail and hate calls.”

Thousands show up at Tulsa food pantry Friday

“We estimate there were 2,000 people here this morning,” said Connie Cronley, executive director. “The heat, the crowd and the incorrect information they have received rendered, in my judgment, a situation that was unsafe.”

Cronley attributed the crowd to false information sent via group e-mails and Facebook regarding supplemental food boxes, 30-pound food boxes paid for by a $2 million federal stimulus grant to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

“It’s like a bad version of the old telephone game in which children whisper a sentence to one another and it is passed around a circle. At the end, the sentence is not recognizable,” Cronley said.

The message that was circulating was that the food boxes were free for anyone, however they’re actually restricted to families with children younger than 18 and there is an income restriction as well."

2. The video clearly shows that Sherrod discriminated against a white farmer simply because of his skin color – while Sherrod was a public official and responsible for public monies
3. The video clearly shows the NAACP applauding these outrageous racial slurs and overt acts of racism.
4. As a public figure Sherrod must prove that Breitbart knew the statements were incorrect and intentionally attacked Sherrod's character. Sherrod wants to be treated as a private individual considering she was an officer in the USDA.
5. Sherrod has a history of using racial victimization as a ploy for advancement, and has a credibilitiy issue.

Why will CNN not show Sherrod's racist comments? They keep crying injustice but won't actually offer the evidence or show the video. Keep going Andrew, the left-wing media is championing this fraud and it's going to fly in their face.

The video clearly shares a personal story of redemption. Sherrod saved the farm! Brietbart never suspected that the farmer would still be alive. Sherrod worked for the USDA in Georgia. She was working in capacity as a public official, allocating public money to farmers in the state. While in her position she allowed her racism to twist her decisions as an official at the USDA-AND YOU CAN'T DENY THIS FACT. She has admitted to this, and no amount of redemption will change this fact. She was clearly acting outside the limits of her authority. More importantly, Ann shows that people should use logic to slice and dice liberal arguments. Why? Because you can't argue with logic. A fallacy is a fallacy, and there isn't much a lib can do about that. That is why when you show them their fallacies, they get a glazed over deer-in-the-headlights look. Not having learned logic in J-school or whatever, they don't know how to defend against it. All they know are lies, but Ann shows that there are ways to defend against lies. Demand evidence, demonstrate a 'reductio ad absurdum' are but a few of them in this video. (I recommend Gula's "Nonsense: A Handbook of Logical Fallacies" for more on this).

Rick Sanchez got machined gunned so bad by Coulter that he tried to change the subject each time he couldn't present what appeared to be a non factual response. In the end he tried to swim out of the strong current by putting on a sort of charm offensive.

Clearly Sherrod could have gained some sympathy from the conservative right, but she went on the warpath of every liberal show she could and ended up showing herself to be a racisr after all.

The bottom line is that Obama fired her without any do process whatsoever, which Breibart thought was unfair. It was another knee jerk reaction that reminded me of the police Vs. Professor Gates situation.

That has already happened TEA Party Federation sent a letter to Congresswoman Lee on April 27, long before the unfounded allegations were leveled by the NAACP against the TEA Party. They unequivocally denounced racism in all forms and asked the Congresswoman to either respond or place the letter into the congressional record, to date she has not acted on either request or even acknowledged the letter's existence which was delivered by registered mail and the delivery was confirmed.

The National Tea Party Federation is a coalition of 75 TEA Party groups across the country representing every state and every group was a signatory to that letter.

Stating that racism has never been denounced by the TEA Party is absolutely deceptive and disingenuous for you to claim, it has.

The Congresswoman has deliberately hidden that letter from view to further this lie that we're racists or that we condone racism.
