So MSNBC can promote Obama pushing for the 2016 Olympics to come to Chicago, while FOX is told to with hold any news rallying against the 2016 Olympics coming to Chicago! There’s something fishy going on!!!
Besides, does Obama actually think that he will be around as President in 2016 to host these games? I think NOT! He will booted out of office come 2012. Why? Because so far he’s shown to be one lousy president, who’s lost in La-La-Land…

Obama will leave for Copenhagen on short notice, but he doesn’t have time to visit his hand-picked commander in Afghanistan when the country is about to devolve into chaos? Chicago is not filth, but our politicians are. As far as deserving it, I have no clue what you are talking about and apparently neither do you. Fact is that aside from some construction business initially, Chicago is expected to lose money on this deal and the taxpayers will pick up the tab. The Olympics is typically not a money making venture (even though it would seem it would be) and that’s why they made such a big deal about the financial backing the olympics would have in Chicago. Mayor Daley just wants another feather in his cap.

This “Chicago Olympics” sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. Not only will it drain what few resources Illinois has left, but it will UNDOUBTEDLY result in crime and violence the likes the Olympics has never seen. (Why would ANYBODY ever want to go to Chicago, with all its lowlifes, crime and pestilence??)
We were “passing through” Chicago a decade or so ago and could not find a PUBLIC TOILET anywhere!!! We had to go to the Museum of Science & Industry and park in their lot, just to go up and find a toilet.
Chicago is not CIVILIZED enough to sponsor the Olympics, whether Mr. O. and “Our Pal Val” agree or not. Send the Olympics somewhere else, and give Illinoisans a BREAK from the relentless crime, violence, greed, graft & corruption.
