When I go to high end clothing stores nobody helps me. My cab driver got pulled over the other day and the officer demanded my ID. The cashier at the grocery store was very rude to me yesterday. All because I am black, then I looked in the mirror and realized I am white. Just because someone doesn’t behave the way you think they should, it doesn’t mean it is racism. If I were black I am sure I could have construed those events occurred because of my race. Basic psychology suggests some blacks are projecting their racism on to others and thus they see everything as racist. It’s inconceivable to a black guy that white people don’t recognize other white people when meeting them for the first time at an airport. That is why white people hold up signs for other white people to see. But to some black people the only possible answer is that because he is black nobody was looking for him.

I was at a counter at a store and a black lady next to me was complaining that she had to wait longer than others to get served. She went into a rant about how she was not being served because she was black. She brought up history and slavery. The thing was that she showed up after me and I had not been served yet either. She started ranting after a three minute wait. I had been there for fifteen minutes noticing that the guy at the counter was busy. Must be an example of more racial profiling.

Yeah right,the first Black people that set foot in this country was in 1602.They went through almost four centuries of slavery,lynchings and segregation.This thing about Black people is in America’s DNA.White folk find it easier to blame Black folk for their treatment than own up to the facts.

When someone didn’t recogonize Powell at the airport, that was racial profiling? Maybe they aren’t aware of whoever is the National Security Advisor. I certainly couldn’t name who it is right now, and definitely not what they look like.

Powell’s racial profiling is much like Gates and Obama’s racial profiling. It did not happen, other than they all assumed that the white guys must be racists. This is simply the blacks doing racial profiling on the whites. But then, that is ok because, as we all know, blacks cant possibly be racial profilers or racists.

The first slaves in America were mostly white. Although we did have some black slaves early on too it was more common that they were white. Later on when black slave traders had an abundance of slaves there was a much larger influx. Lynching was not all that common in the first two hundred years. It was most common in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Compared to black on white crime there has been one aprx one lynching of a black person compared to thousands of rapes, murders of whites by blacks. The KKK was founded by five democrats. In it’s prime the KKK was 90% white protestant democrats. The KKK made an accurate statement. That they would have no problem keeping the blacks down but that it was white republicans that would prove to be the enemy of the KKK. The blacks have been slaves to the democrat party (founders and participants of the KKK and for the most part the white guys that lynched blacks) ever since.

Most racism today in America is made up or exaggerated. Powell’s story showed no evidence of actual racial profiling. It did show that both he and Gates racial profiled the white guy and assumed racism without evidence. Blacks show repeated and common racist attitudes towards whites. There is a racial problem but most of it is done by blacks, per capita. Clean up your own house before you complain to others.

The facts so far in Powell’s example of racial profiling.

1) The guy meeting him was white
2) The guy meeting him had no idea who he was looking for
3) The guy did not state that he was looking for a white person
4) Powell assumed that the white guy was a racist, thereby guilty of racial profiling
5) Powell is a dunderheaded nincompoop, putting it mildly.

We need to move past blaming everything on race. In this incident, there were 2 egos that clashed and lead to the incident. I do not believe race was a factor, Overly inflated egos on both sides were the issue. That is the teachable lesson.

On a personal note: I am a white male in my 40s. My only traffic citation was from a black police officer in Melbourne, FL. When I asked for a reason, his only comment was ‘I am only trying to make a point, you may or may not have broken a law’. Looking back I wonder if I was reverse racially profiled. It was later dropped in court with the officer present. My point – it may go both ways and calm heads should discuss issues after the heat of the moment.

@poetopoet I hope you do purchase a firearm. Do some research plus find someone that has several and go to a firing range or find a range where you can try several. I have everything from a .22 to an Argentine 1911 model .45.

The U.S. Constitution starts with “We The People” not I the president or we the congress or we the senate. We the people are about to enter a phase of open unchecked protests, with some being shot dead. History always repeats the good and bad in life; it’s just that the good forgive and forget too much. The bad on the other hand never forget and never forgive. There is no difference intellectually with what Obama is claiming by implication between Carl Marx, Lenin and him. All very bad people who wanted to destroy the existing rule, with their rule.

A simple protest against taxes helped form this nation of America, it was called the Tea Party. Now there are Tea Parties everywhere and yet, not a single sitting politician hears them. There is something vitally wrong with this Obamanation, the demoncrats stand for and by.

When a capable, able mother is ridiculed, maligned and sued, to point where she has to resign a governorship to defend herself: What pleasure must there be for the demoncrat elites to get out of it? The propaganda media, be that news anchors, radio and TV hosts and guests, news paper owners and journalists, cartoonist and comedians all together join in on this assault on one little mother from Alaska, Sarah Palin. I ask you what do they know and they fear?

The Sarah Plain that you (if normal) may not know personally but have come to respect
and admire, be that the ability to give birth and not terminate the life of her baby, her capacity to dutifully run and hold a mayor’s job, then run and hold a Governorship,
while running for the vice president of America, speaks and says a lot of good things to me and I hope you too. The born for rebellion sitting community leader Obama, can not hold a finger up to this woman, Sarah Palin.

Most Americans sat back and watched the demoncratic movement forge and steal the presidency; with the help of Acorns proven false voter logs, mass platforms of staged performances; and a biased unbridled media, unable and unwilling to tell the truth; Marx, Lenin and Hitler himself, along with Randolph Hearst would be proud of. What comes next I believe is the scary part; when a simple honest request by law, for a birth certificate is denied with all the force and power of the presidency and congress. Sadly the freedom to vote, pick and chose who you want for any office or for a doctor is taken away by a president who addresses us as citizens of the world, not Americans, its time for real change.

Chairman of the joint chief of staff, secretary of state, exactly where has this man been held back by racism. To think that only a black person is only capable of experiencing racism is beyond comprehension. I, a white male, have been subject to cruel actions by members of many different races, black and hispanic to name the major agressors.

Many things happen throughout anyone’s life. The thickness of certain peoples skin is what is in question. The way to a successful life is to find the thing that interests you and to pursue this, in the way anyone would with a job. Then, when your passion becomes your job, the sky is the limit. Colin Powel held some of the most powerful positions in the world, yet cannot get past someone not likeing a black man because he is black.

It doesn’t mean that success still doesn’t flow to the deserving. Get a grip!

As a 65 old white male, who was robed 3 times and crashed into deliberately twice by black men and I still hold no hostility or bigotry to black people because i know many great outstanding black people, who are victims of blacks themselves. Where do you fit in Doc? I know blacks who come from around the world, even Africa, resent being called black or African, as on Obama’s alleged COLB. The are Kenyans, Jamaicans, South Africans, etc., etc. But blacks like you like being called black excuse, thus you are on black mother frelling list, jerk.

Powell got where he did in the military and beyond for one reason affirmative action so it’s laughable that he now talls about profiling

Let me get this straight. Powell went to the airport. No one recognized him. No one bothered him. No one hassled or harassed him. In fact, everyone let him be until he went up to the counter and introduced himself, and then he was treated like royalty. My God, how does that poor man endure such oppression?

I’m sure Colin Powell is staying up at night, oh sooo upset that all you little insignificant little “believe and repeat everything you hear your so-called white heros” say negative about anybody other than a white man. Oh Powell, you’ve lost the respect of these ever so smart little people! Woe is you! ; (
