Amazing how stupid these people really are, isn’t it?

It’s still always funny when leftists / statists paint themselves as ‘moderates’. What silliness. Moderates don’t join movements – they’re moderate. People in this country have had just about enough of what the left has to say. Let’s see how long it takes them to start fires.

Isn’t it interesting how the radicals in the White House and their lap dogs in the MSM have managed to paint the Tea Party as extremists? I was at the 9/12 March on DC and honestly, no one seemed radical, extreme, weird etc. Just concerned, conservative citizens worried about the decline of traditional values and the increase of enormous government in the US. http://www.thefedupamerican.com

DontTaseMeBro   March 8th, 2010 - 11:06 pm

Definitely a fraud group set up by the liberal radicals and progressives. Another fraud element of all of this is at the end of this clip when the CNN anchor says “Tea party, coffee party … we’ll watch them all.”

I’ll bet right now this group, if successful, will get the mainstream media’s attention and not the tea party group. The mainstream media will tear apart the tea party movement using the same tactics it did with Sarah Palin and will promote the coffee group over this one.

Watch! This is a fraud ladies and gentlemen. This is the mainstream media trying to squash dissent towards their progressive movement.

gjc   March 8th, 2010 - 11:09 pm

The only thing truth to this story is that Annabel Park is a political operative. Park is an opportunist unemployed “film maker” whose parents support her in their home. Just type her name at youtube.

Coffee leftists can’t get more than a few dozen people to sit around and bitch about how the government isn’t spending enough tax money. DOn’t worry Park will pop-up again someplace again-once this idea fizzles. Afterall like most liberal activitist, Park doesn’t actually doesn’t have to work for a living.

No, that’s too too complicated. Way too complicated, we are told.

Sooooo – - our Emir Obama has simplified things, as he told us he would do.
Now it’s merely about coffee vs. tea.
Anyone remember the Java Jive song? Well it’s really just the jive talkin’

I love coffee, I love tea
I love the java jive and it loves me
Coffee and tea and the jivin’ and me
A cup, a cup, a cup, a cup, a cup!

I love java, sweet and hot
Whoops! Mr. Moto, I’m a coffee pot
Shoot me the pot and I’ll pour me a shot
A cup, a cup, a cup, a cup, a cup!

Oh, slip me a slug from the wonderful mug
And I cut a rug till I’m snug in a jug
A slice of onion and a raw one, draw one.
Waiter, waiter, percolator!

I love coffee, I love tea
I love the java jive and it loves me
Coffee and tea and the jivin’ and me
A cup, a cup, a cup, a cup, a cup!

Boston bean, soy bean
Lima bean, string bean.
You know that I’m not keen for a bean
Unless it is a cheery coffee bean.

Drop me a nickel in my pot, Joe, Takin’ it slow.
Waiter, waiter, percolator!

I love coffee, I love tea
I love the java jive and it loves me
Coffee and tea and the jivin’ and me
A cup, a cup, a cup, a cup, a cup!

According to the National Coffee Association, coffee drinking in America took off in the 1770’s as people began to protest King Georges tax- “Though coffee houses rapidly began to appear, tea continued to be the favored drink in the New World until 1773 when the colonists revolted against a heavy tax on tea imposed by King George. The revolt, known as the Boston Tea Party, would forever change the American drinking preference to coffee.” Welcome to the fight libs, just hope you get a big enough jolt of caffeine to awaken your inner patriot.

Interesting Background...   March 9th, 2010 - 2:36 am

If you follow the link on this story and read comments, you find… (excerpted quote):
“Annabel Park … worked for one of the two parties, the Democrat party! She was an organizer and operator of the “United for Obama” video channel on Youtube. As the “United for Obama” page admits “We are a network of Obama volunteers from all across the country and from all back grounds working together to support Obama’s message of unity and change…some of us are filmmakers and we created this page to amplify Obama’s message on YouTube. The film makers include …Annabel Park. … Even Reuters, while also omitting the founder’s past work for the Obama campaign in a blog entry on Tuesday, noted that the “Coffee Party” was a movement of the left.”

I’m not impressed. I call people like these “NPR People”. These are the folks who get their news from National Public Radio and the BBC. There are many of them here in the Northeast. People like this are driven by these basic beliefs:

1. They are smarter and more enlightened than everyone else.
2. They must save everyone else from themselves.
3. The entire world, (not just the United States), will eventually conform to their world view.

They honestly believe that by speaking calmly and rationally to us, and by convincing us of their intellectual superiority, we will ultimately capitulate and allow them to turn our render our Constitutional Republic obsolete, and transform it into a socialist democracy, similar to countries in Western Europe.

Their assumptions are, of course, mistaken.

More interesting background. Here are some noteworthy quotes from their website:
http://coffeepartyusa.com/content/about-us

“We want a society in which democracy is treated as sacrosanct…”

“Our Founding Fathers and Mothers gave us an enduring gift — Democracy — and we must use it to meet the challenges that we face as a nation.”

But of course, we are NOT a democracy. The United States is a Constitutional Republic. Since they’ve mentioned the Founding Mothers, er…um… Founding Fathers, it might be prudent to see what some of them, and other wise men have to say about Democracies, shall we?

“A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess out of the treasury with the result that democracies always collapse over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by a dictatorship.”
~ Alexander Tyler

“Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
~ James Madison

“Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes itself, exhausts and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
~Samuel Adams

“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”
~Thomas Jefferson

These people are not about founding principles. They are progressive elitists. Their sole purpose is to counter and discredit the TEA Party movement, thereby benefitting the political left.

America…listen to their own words

Civility of the coffee party instead of ‘hateful rhetoric’ of the tea party?

Moderates are reasonable – tea party is unreasonable?

They are grassroots from the bottom up – tea party is run by the top?

America…this woman, who started this, is an operative of Bilderberg Bush-Obama and the Democratzi ‘loon’ machine. She and others like her have been trained to go out to counter balance the tea party movement.

They think this will work…it won’t!

And you know why…because they are against a people…a people who believe the facts of what this government is doing to our Republic.

Keep spreading the truth…America of what ‘is…is’!

Recently, I was in a public park at some affair and here just feet away from me…were a group of men/women sitting on benches discussing what is going wrong with our government. I could hear their words and feel their passion…and it was against what is going on in our government.

Then when in a restaurant to have breakfast…a group of (3) couples…doing the same at the next table.

It was amazing…it was energizing that people were not afraid to stand up and speak out!

GOD bless America and it’s people…’real’ Americans who are not afraid of the people of America…like the coffee party…but are those who are afraid of what our government is doing and are trying to stop it in it’s tracks to protect the future of all of America’s children and their legacy.

I see. You’re an angry, anti-white, anti Protestant, racist bigot, from the left of the political spectrum. You believe that your political opponents are conspiring to restore the institutional racism of fifties and sixties, under the guise of a political organization, known as the “Taxed Enough Already”, or “TEA” Party organization. Ummm…just sounds like a bunch of liberal loons who want all Obama’s goals pushed through to me. So summed up they’re just co-opting the popularity of the genuine grass-roots tea party movement. Yet, simply have the same agenda as Obama. Anyone feeling manipulated yet?

Just another chance to take a dig at the tea party crowd who are–for the most part–simply sick of big government, big government spending and out of control socialism. They are by all accounts civil compared to their leftist counterparts. One official noted that when the two million descended on Washington, they left the parks cleaner than when they came. You could never say that about leftist protesters. Notice how this “civil” group happened to be uncivil to the tea party participants?

In fact, when you look at the left, how they seed the crowds with agent provocateurs so the fake news media and falsely claim extremists dominate the events. This is just another off-shoot.

NOQTR4TR8RS,

“Where has the tea party been for the last 10 years?”

I agree, Washington has been spending like a drunken sailor for years. It has come to the proverbial head due to Obama outspending even the most profligate spenders ever–by a country mile. You’re right, Bush was no conservative, despite some redeeming qualities.

No one, at this point in time, can argue the idiocy of the past somehow mitigates the gross retardation going on in the democrat congress today. You don’t need to be a PhD. to know that when a dem congressman says–with a straight face–that we need to “spend” ourselves out of a depression, something is critically wrong with our elected officials. This spending issue is what the tea party movement responds to and the so-called “coffee party” does not. I know which events I’d be attending, even though I do love a daily cup of java.

I’m not sure I understand the meaning of your question. The history of the TEA Party is briefly described here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_movement#History

If you’re asking me where the fiscal conservatives have been for the last ten years, I would say that most of them were probably Republicans, who had been harshly critical of the Clinton Administration for their robust spending. The GOP professed to be the party of smaller government, lower taxes, and fiscal responsibility. However, GWB and his fellow neoconservatives blew that theory all to pieces, flipping the proverbial bird to their fiscally conservative base, and outspending even Clinton. Bush’s approval hit an all time low of less than 30 percent, coincident with his bailout of AIG, and conservatives became some of his harshest critics.

Then in 2008, Obama and the Democrat Party were elected, with the help of former Republicans, and fiscally conservative independents, with a clear mandate to clean up the Bush mess, and restore fiscal sanity. But they have instead made a bad mess into an utter catastrophe. So, left with no major political party in which to pursue their agenda, the TEA Party was formed, to pressure members of both parties to stop the madness, or pay the political consequences.

Does this answer your question?

The tea party folks say that the coffee party was a top-down phenomenon. Wouldn’t that apply to the tea party folks, too? After all, it was Glen Beck and Fox Network that got the tea party started.

Lol. No wonder hardly anyone watches CNN anymore. The network loves a story like this because they share the
same views with the blind libs that are talking up the Coffee Party. Remember the CNN coverage of some early
Tea Party rallies? Even today, their story shows an Obama Joker sign at a Tea Party, next to a video of
obviously more refined and intelligent Coffee Party folks, meeting to discuss politics.

Cnn refuses to believe that the movement to clean up Congress is starting to gain steam. Both liberal Dems and moderate Repuplicans
have to go. This recession and falling home prices are helping to fuel the cleansing. In Michigan, we have
seen the UAW accept lower pay and reduced benefits. The teachers and state employees are closer to the same
situation than they realize. Tax receipts will continue to fall, causing reality to set in. Democrats are
refusing to cut services and want to increase taxes. This will be their demise.

They look like washed up hippies. I predict this movement goes the way of liberal radio.

Yeah, people who wear berets and hang out at the “One World Cafe.” We know where you’re coming from: tax businesses and productive people more, create more gov’t programs and hand out the money to liberals and their “rainbow coalition.” Got it.

Oh–to be sooo righteous and superior. Only the tea partiers are espoused with the total embodiment of solutions and perfection. If one has an alternate view– your a ‘commie’. What infantile trite! Your not exactly causing earthquakes (just ripples) with your minute blueprint. Make my a cappuccino.

Do you read when you post? After ,making your initial statement about being “righteous and superior”, you go on to finish by making a statement that sounds righteous and superior.

Tea party types, don’t want a particular party in power, what they want is an end to big government. They want genuine conservatives to step up to the plate. Tea party members are sick of the taxation which does not represent them and a never ending loss of freedoms. The communist coffee klatch is no more on board with these goals than Obama himself is. Why? Well, the fact that a brief search exposes them as democrat operatives could be the answer. Every American should be outraged at a government populated by career politicians whose goal is to retain power and enhance it by controlling more of what we the people do.

For example, do you think that we the tax payer should underwrite Pelosi’s million dollar a year personal plane fare? I don’t and considering how vacuous she comes off, I cannot think of any reason to rush that piece of work around. The list of spending and entitlements this government is either enacting or planning is beyond bad governance, it is almost criminal and make no mistake, our kids will be left with the bill. The tea party seems pretty civil to me considering they should be breaking out barrels of tar and bags of feathers.

You may enjoy that dem coffee klatch, but be forewarned, it hasn’t a scintilla in common with the pro American values put forth by the tea party movement. It is not grass roots, honest or challenging the ominous trends in government today. If you cannot figure this out, then enjoy the cappuccino, there will be little else of benefit in attending.
