Interesting how they don’t ask: Van Jones, Jeanine Garofalo, Danny Glover, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, Rosie O’Donnell, etc., if they’re Truthers.
The Birther movement started with Hillary and Bill Clinton, who did extensive research on Obama to discredit him during the primary and put that rumor out there. Obama copied Clinton, and spread the rumor about McCain who was born in Panama when his father was stationed there.

Here-here! Great observation. Sanchez constantly astounds me when he aspires to take the moral high ground. In 1990, he was in a hit and run. Inebriated, this lib ran off for two hours after the accident to, “get his license” and still blew over the limit.
His victim, Jeffrey Smuzinick, was left paralyzed and died an early death in a nursing home at age 36.
I’m surprised he didn’t ask, “When did you stop beating your wife?” Sanchez is just another of CNN’s left-wing, goon squad. The eligibility issue may have started as a rumor, but its gone way beyond that now…..there are many suspicious issues associated with the progress of this issue including the FACT that the Congress held hearings on McCain’s eligibility but not on Obama’s, the FACT that Obama has spent nearly 2 million dollars on defending legal challenges….why would you do that unless you really had something to hide.
I believe Obama is rushing his legislation despite the election consequences because he knows the eligibility issue is going to come to a head before November and if he defies court orders to turn over his records he will ultimately be impeached.

You make some very good points about Medina and especially 9/11. Why is it hard to believe that there were in fact “explosive charges” built into the building? It makes sense that you would have to have such a plan “just in case” you did have to bring the building down in a controlled manner. What would the collateral damage had been if the WTC buildings had fallen over to the side and taken out 4-5 (or more) city blocks? The government will never tell us that they brought these building down in a controlled manner, even if they did. The U.S. justice system would be on a witch-hunt for decades if that ever got out. Get over it! There are much more insidious things our government has done and they never told the citizens….so just get over it

You’ve mentioned numerable times that Ms. Medina “QUESTIONS WITH BOLDNESS”…
…THAT point is EXACTLY where she lost me (in the Beck interview, and FAR MORE in her above ‘clarification’ statements).
Bold?
BOLD questioning would be:
1. Her leading WITH such questions
2. Failing that, BOLDLY stating her concerns AND willingness to be known for them, once asked about her thoughts/beliefs on the subject
3. Failing that… at least stand, UNFLINCHINGLY, and give full answers to the questions about her flinching and hedging to the initial clear question from Beck. (I understand how a person can be caught “flat-footed”, “off-guard”. But I must speak from experience, on matters that run ‘conviction-deep’, what I truly think/believe about a subject always comes to mind ~ and tongue ~ VERY QUICKLY, when asked ~ whether blindsided or not).
“Question with BOLDNESS”.
I agree whole-heartedly. If something feels THAT wrong to a person, about ANY issue of merit (our government being involved in the planning, implementing ~ and let me expand a bit to cover the POSSIBILITY of what else she might be alluding to ~ OR COVER-UP of the most heinous act of terrorism in this nation’s history… these definitely qualify as an issue of “merit”)… then STAND UP, and with clear eyes and firm conviction… QUESTION.

I believe that those in power would do anything to stay in that position including having it’s own citizens becoming “collateral damage”. For several days after the Beck/Medina radio interview (which by the way I heard live that morning) Glenn was receiving radio calls, emails, cancellation of his insider subscription, etc. over the way he mistreated a radio guest, who happened to be a candidate for governor to the State of Texas. Glenn, trying to justify himself, played to his radio audience (was it Feb. 15?) a “cut and pasted” version of the portion of the interview that dealt with whether she was a “truther”. Beck and Patrick were trying to convince the listening audience that Medina had not laughed, when indeed she had (I heard that radio broadcast also) and that is deceptive.
I, too, subscribed to Becks daily emails with transcripts of his radio show. He has lost my respect due to not only his handling of Medina (whom I knew nothing about since I don’t even live near TX) but of his lies in trying to cover up his botched interview with lies.
Do as Glenn taught us “question with boldness” and that includes him.
The YouTube clip where Beck cut and paste has “mysteriously” disappeared from the internet. I was going to include it here.

I have several of Glenn’s books, so I’m not coming from “left field” – To expose this truth about Glenn’s two sided mouth hurts me as much as it did to spank my kids. It also hurts to admit that I was drinking Kool Aid from him for so long!

Thank you… I will most certainly listen to the links you posted, and share honestly what I find (I am NOT a Beck “groupie”… heard and seen some things that I found offensive or ‘odd’ from time to time ~ mostly the way he still goes into “shock jock” mode and ‘jokes’ about people from time to time ~ but as of yet, NEVER about his presentation of history or pertinent “Facts”).

I have traveled, conducted training (safety, team-building and soft skills), done seminars and motivational speeches, and hunted all over Texas for YEARS (usually hunt there ~from the Brazos to Freer~ 5-6 times a year). I was born and raised in Southern OK, and traveled, played ball against, and dated some fine young ladies from Wellington, Childress, “Whiskyta Falls”, etc.
…but until that interview with Glenn (which I also listened to LIVE), I had never heard of Ms. Medina, let alone have ANY opinions formed about her politics OR person. So if Mr. “Morrison”’s statements are factual, that (for me) would make her hesitancy AND hedging (I still see her answers to both Glenn AND the cnn clown as that) far more understandable.

I just finished listening to all (6) of the parts and found it very informative.
I too listened to GB for the next few days after the setup interview, and was appalled that he continually dissed Debra Medina.
I saw the show where he posted ‘her’ picture with the likes of the Communist and ’signed’ truther Van Jones and others and found it appalling!
And as to the ‘original’ and ‘doctored’ audio claiming she did not laugh it off when she did. That, in itself, was damming to what he is doing to this candidate!
Both audios…of the oiginal where she was laughing it off when it was first asked…and the doctored one where they took out the laugh and denied she did it…was revealing.
I have always respected Glenn and what he was doing…at the first of the year he claimed that he was going to change the direction of the program…and I guess he did! Now he is singling out individuals who are trying to bring ‘hope’ and ‘change’ and try to destroy their quest to take back our government!
I find it despicable…and I say again…America…never…ever…put your faith and/or trust in any man and or woman…they are human and they will fail.
Only GOD will see us through…and never fail!
Thank you again…for letting us hear for ourselves the truth and what Texans really think about what has happened with this setup interview.

As promised, I clicked and listened to the 10 minute piece you were kind enough to post a link to.
…I heard nearly 7:20 seconds (of 10 minutes, total) of one of the local hosts (from KLIF, I suppose) ranting, raving, “setting up” each tiny audio bite of Beck with over-the-top LEADING statements like:
“He’s doing what all cornered animals do, he’s fighting back. And NOW (emphasis added… but not much), he’s flat-ass lying… It’s unbelievable.” ~ within the FIRST 29 SECONDS of the segment ~
“I’m not doing anything! I’m not the raving, looning… lunatic EGOMANIAC sitting in some high building in New York City looking down at the LITTLE PEOPLE, attacking a governor’s candidate in Texas who represents the values that the Tea Party movement and, and many others like it suggest…” ~ following the above, and still within the FIRST 1:52 SECONDS of the segment ~
“This is not my fight!” ~ immediately following the above-quoted line… and right before this…
“Why in the world Glenn has chosen to-to go HELL-BENT ah,uh after her is totally beyond m-I have no idea. Nobody I know has any idea… (slight pause before this nugget)… outside of the obvious support for Rick Perry. Now there are the allegations that Glenn Beck’s em-employer has been a MASSIVE contributor to Rick Perry.” ~ ALL THIS… before 2:21 SECONDS have ticked on this segment.
…that’s “journalism”?
…that’s OBJECTIVE “proof” of ANYTHING?
…that local lip-sling, trying for some national-nod time is to serve as any improvement on even the suggested “wrong-doing” of Beck in ANY of this matter of Debra Medina continuing to dance, side-step, fumble EVERY opportunity since to “set the record straight” on-air?

BTW, Beck, in the end, has NOTHING to do with, nor any real influence over the current Rasmussen poll figures. Ms. Medina… AND HER “ANSWERS” are solely responsible for that.
Blaming Glenn Beck for her now-repeat FUMBLES in the public arena on this issue (she’s had TEN DAYS to “prepare” a come-back) is like blaming the makers of Spandex for how Michael Moore would look in it.

As she finished that first answering attempt, she did laugh (sounded more like a nervous laugh ~ understandable, being on “nationwide” radio for what may have been the very first time) ~ The ‘laugh’ begins at the 0:39 mark, as she’s saying the last word of this sentence ~ “That’s the first time I’ve heard that accusation”. Her laugh continues as she says, “That’s an interesting one.”
Please also note Glenn’s immediate reaction ~ beginning at 0:42
There is no “Gotcha!” He quietly, and respectfully gives her a chance to clarify. He does so by asking the question in a form which makes a “Yes” or “No” very easy to come up with.
GLENN: “Then let me be more frank, and ask you the question ~ Do you believe the government was ANY WAY (emphasis added) involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers, on 9/11?” ~ 0:42 – 0:52 ~
Ms. MEDINA: “I don’t, I don’t have all of the evidence there, Glenn. So I don’t I’m not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard. There are some very good arguments, and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there. So I’ve not taken a position on that.” ~ 0:53 – ff
NOTE: Glenn’s second “frank” question was VERY CLEAR ~ “…ANY WAY involved…”.
One line especially of Ms. Medina’s ‘answer’ was telling (to me, at least): “I think some very good questions have been raised IN THAT REGARD” ~
“IN THAT REGARD” was clearly in answer to: “Do you believe the government was ANY WAY (emphasis added) involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers, on 9/11?”
Even if she didn’t wish to give a simple “Yes” or “No”… that line, spoken in an unguarded moment, spoke far more succinctly to me than her several-hours-later ‘prepared’ “NO”.
My thoughts and positions on this matter are based on listening to the original broadcast interview LIVE, reviewing it (and now the subsequent pieces that have come to light), AND watching her fumble AGAIN… after 10 days to prepare… on air. I base them on HER actions, and RE-actions… over the last 10 days, not on Beck’s post-interview actions/antics (as I mentioned above, there are some of those I don’t care for, at all).
