That was about four months ago. I doubt given the tattered state of the economy, unemployment, healthcare scams, and Climategate, that Americans are now more in support of cap and trade legislation.

We have been gathering this data for years, ever since Hurricane Katrina, when Al Gore claimed temps would go up, hurricanes and storms would increase and sea levels would increase.
1) Temperatures come to find have been going down since 1998, even if AP reports the false data given by organizations like this. Every year it has decreased since 1998 except for 2005, but after that year it continued to drop. This according to NOAA and the national weather service’s raw data.
2) According to Al Gore and other specialists, hurricanes and major storms were suppose to increase in strength and quantity but in following years since Katrina, there have been less Hurricanes, Tropical Storms, Typhoons, etc. There have been less and those that have developed have been weaker.
3) My father is a fisherman off the Long Island, NY coast. He says that in the past years there have been higher high tides but also lower low tides and yet the average tide, the mark at slack med. tide is around the same. This meaning that there is no big change and the very high-high tides are ultra rare.

Climate Change is true, the climate is now lower in the way of temperature and storm capacity but is it man-made… probably not.

Instead of reporting on how people “feel” about “Global Warming” why doesn’t CNN report, discuss, and debate real empirical data on “Global Warming”?

These climate change con artists are simply empowering politicians to pick the pocket of the tax payer. They, along with the politicians, should be tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail.

As the activity of the sun subsides, so does the warming. Man’s impact is negligible at best. This has nothing to do with clean energy. If it was, America would be building reactors with the idea of getting us off of oil. It’s safe, other countries use it, but not in America.
