Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly worse jobs with the lower pay the longer hours the reduced benefits the end of overtime, and the vanishing pension that disappears the moment you go to collect it. And now they’re comin’ for your social security money. They want your ******’ retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on wall street. And you know something? They’ll get it, they’ll get it all from you sooner or later. They own this ******’ place. It’s a big club, and YOU ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. There is definitely a HUGE difference between a few scribbled notes on Sarah Palin’s hand and Barack Obama’s ‘total’ reliance on his infamous Teleprompter(s). The HUGE difference is first of all Sarah is speaking from her “heart” and using her “emotions” when she speaks. She is also NOT using a teleprompter like Hussein constantly does. Another HUGE difference is Sarah is using her “own” speeches (what she has personally thought out, processed, and written down) as opposed to BHO who is just reading a speechwriter(s) words given to him to read and consequently there has been NO personal thought(s) or ideas (or emotions) from Obama’s brain and heart that goes into what Obama reads from his teleprompters. It’s ALL done for him by his infamous speechwriters apparently. On the other hand, Sarah speaks with “passion” and “conviction” and with “resolve” to improve America and the American people’s plight, whereas Barack Obama is about as boring (unemotional) as it gets, and if you take away his teleprompters, or they happen to go on the fritz when he is speaking, Barack Obama suddenly turns into this 6 year old who can’t put two words together it seems.

Another HUGE difference is Sarah Palin is speaking words that are her own personal thoughts and ideas that she has written down, processed, and believes in. On the other hand, Barack Obama seems to rely heavily or even solely on speechwriters, so basically he is just speaking words that were written for him to read to the American people. There has been NO personal ideas or thoughts (or emotions) put into Obama’s speeches by Obama himself apparently. He is essentially reading other people’s words to the American people. Sarah Palin, on the other hand, speaks using her own personal thoughts, ideas, input, solutions, and passion regarding a matter. If you took Obama’s teleprompters away. or they happen to go on the fritz while he is speaking, he suddenly turns into what seems like a six year old who can’t put two words together. And which speaks volumes in regard to his ‘inability’ to communicate effectively without “constantly” having to rely on his teleprompters. Sarah, on the other hand, knows how to speak effectively and intelligently and with passion and conviction in the words that she speaks. She actually stands for something, unlike Obama who apparently sways with every wind that happens to blow, depending on what prospects of getting him reelected in 2012 happens to be, if nothing else.

Nobody here is saying that presidents shouldn’t use teleprompters. Obama uses the teleprompter everywhere, even when talking to 6th graders in their classroom.
As for giving speeches without teleprompters: people do it all the time. I teach public speaking. I sure that anyone writing here could, with adequate preparation, give a speech before Congress without a teleprompter.
We don’t expect our presidents to memorize long speeches; they have better things to do with their time. But we think they ought to be able to do short engagements off the cuff.
