I remember when, as a local news reporter in South Florida, he got drunk at a Dolphins game, killed someone while driving home, fled the scene and then later showed up to confess to his involvement after it was too late to prove he was drunk. Palin sounded incoherent (doesn’t she always, though?) and very stressed in this little surprise presentation. She also sounded and appeared DEPRESSED or SAD or WORRIED. WHAT is REALLY going on?, one has to wonder. Definitely did not come off as anybody with a solid purpose nor did she exude any confidence about where she’s going and what she’s doing.
Would be more likely that there is a health problem that is preventing her finishing her term, but she’s not yet ready to go public with it. She sounded shaky, sort of like someone on the verge of, or undergoing, a nervous breakdown. She should take a LONG LONG vacation… (And eating a square meal (instead of all those diet drinks) wouldn’t hurt either.)
