Even the BBC is dumping the man made global warming junk-science religion-of-the-left now.
In an article headlined “Whatever happened to global warming?” on the BBC website, Hudson noted that the warmest year of recent times wasn’t 2007 or 2008, but 1998, and global temperatures have not increased at all in the intervening 11 years, despite increasing carbon emissions.
But interestingly, Hudson pointed out that none of the climate models beloved by meteorologists forecast the present temperature trend. It is sobering to note that environmentalists are demanding that we damage our economy and make the poor poorer on the back of climate models that have been proved, in the short term at least, to be wrong.
If you could believe a mosquito flying through your house can raise the temperature by it’s body heat then you could believe the religion of man-made global warming. LOL
The apathy of US citizens has come home to roost with the election of Barack Hussein Obama and his collectivist statist ideology. If you read the 183 page Copenhagen Convention “treaty” it says in no uncertain terms that signatories to it will tranfer wealth to developing nations. It goes on to say this is due them as the developing nations have been releasing CO2 since 1850. In order to facilitate this wealth transfer there are many “councils” and “boards” set up for policing purposes. We aer also to transfer our technology to them free of charge.
Of course the obligatory language for “social justice” and “gender equality” is included amongst the archane UNspeak wording. Implementation is to reach down to our local levels (your city, town,village) and it is to include “the children.” In short, it appears to be the implementation of a UN police state.
There is no doubt the corporatists and elites, whether it is Barack Hussein Obama or George Bush, Al Gore or John McCain will prosper during this time. Remember, not only will we be assaulted by this international treaty, we will also be assaulted by the homegrown version, Cap and Trade. The latter being supported by Mr. McCain, Mr. Graham and Ms. Snowe who are so enlightened they can be liberals when it suits them.
This was coming under either party. We are just accelerating the pace under Barry Soetoro, who is also taking the liberty to laugh at us. McCain wouldn’t have laughed, he would have kept his face in the “I smell a fart” countenence he is so good at.
We are doomed if we do not assert our sovereing rights now as individual states and begin to take the Federal government to task for their crimes against the constitution.

Conservatives really need to reconnect with the Constitution and its history, particularly state sovereignty, before they’re going to be effective against space-cadet Obama, IMO.
More specifically, given that the Constitution is silent about climate issues, the 10th Amendment automatically reserves government power to regulate and lay taxes for climate change issues to the states, not the Oval Office and Congress. So it’s reasonable to conclude that since Obama doesn’t have the constitutional authority to regulate climate change for the states that he can’t do the following. He can’t use his power to negotiate treaties with foreign powers as a back door approach to regulating issues like climate change for the states.
But if you don’t believe me then perhaps you believe an expert.

The best way to restore the Constitution and to have better candidates who respect the Constitution is to join the Republican Party at the grass roots and make it happen. It’s a numbers game. The more conservatives we have in the Party in the precinct committeemen ranks, the more likely it will be that we’ll get better elected leadership within the Party and in the general elections. I am only one. But I am a conservative Republican precinct committeeman and desperately trying to get other Constitution-loving conservatives and libertarians to do the same.
I know there is a lot of fearmongering going on about ‘dear leader’ signing away our Sovereignty by signing the Treaty. What we need to remember is that even if he signs the Treaty effect unless 2/3 (66) members of the Senator Ratify said Treaty pursuant to Article VI, Section 2 of the Constitution. Similar to Gore’s signature on Kyoto Protocol and the U.S. is the only signatory Nation that never Ratified and is under no obligation to implement nor have the provisions been implemented. The Democrats have 60 Senators so assuming they all go along they still need 6 Republicans join them to Ratify it. A year-ago I would have empathetically stated that this would never happen after what we have seen happen in the last-year anything is possible.
Based upon further analysis of Article VI Section 2 indicates that if any properly/legally concluded U.S. treaty overrules any STATE law and any STATE Constitution, but a properly/legally framed U.S. treaty does not, may not, can not, and is forbidden to overrule the U.S. Constitution or abrogate the Sovereignty of the United States. If it does, it is not bona fide. It is a usurpation. It is not “under the Authority of the United States” to make such a treaty.
Ergo, treaties (”made, or which shall be made”) that violate the U.S. Constitution by subjugating the United States to an outside power ARE PROHIBITED, of no effect, and thus, null and void.
For a Senator to violate his sworn oath is perjury, a felony, an impeachable offense.
While the whole idea that Man can destroy that which GOD created is the ultimate form of Narcissism. There is no indisputable evidence that man-made CO2 contributes to climate change.

If I remember correctly, this man was supposed to debate “climate change” (what ever happened to global warming?) with Gore in Congress before the House voted on Waxman-Markey. According to Lord Christopher, he was invited to come before Congress and provide an opposing point of view on climate change, but when he showed up, he was not allowed to enter the building. It’s very frustrating because although there are many unanswered questions that should be asked about climate change, skeptics are compared to Holocaust deniers.
The government swears that “green energy” is going to create millions of jobs. This is B.S., but okay, assuming they are right, how many NET JOBS will it create? The answer is none. When has government created any real wealth? How many jobs has Obama’s stimilus package created, 30,000 (so they say)? It’s amazing to see the economic suicide of the world’s premier economic power. This all seems planned to me.

At one event I was at, he mentioned that his father, upon his nightly return home, would ask this question about the younger Nader’s day at school. With criminal leftists in the Judiciary at all levels undermining the Constitution and rule of law, this country is in serious trouble. We could vote out every person in congress in 2010 and Obama in 2012, and still have the criminals in black robes legislating from the bench. Look at all of the lawsuits asking for Obama to furnish his birth certificate. This is a legitimate request, since he was not properly vetted before the election. In almost all cases, these lawsuits were dismissed citing “lack of standing”. If American citizens do not have standing to ask that the Constitution be upheld, then who does? When they issue rulings that are clearly unconstitutional, we need to insist that they be brought up on charges and impeached.

After all, the purpose of this forum is to foster intelligent debate on serious issues facing this nation. In civilized debates, all persons are treated with respect, and all ideas are given serious consideration. These people have no logical arguments, however, only childish emotions. They and others like them are trolls (probably paid by acorn). They have no desire to engage in intelligent debate; indeed, their purpose is to disrupt debate and foster their master’s agenda. Man-made global warming is a load of absolute unmitigated malarkey. The so-called science surrounding this hoax is so odious that a third grade child could debunk most of it. Want some talking points here are a few actual facts.
Ten thousand years ago, the world was in the midst of the last great ice age. A mile thick sheet of ice extended from the north pole to the southern United States. Oddly, it melted without any assistance of humans, cars and/or cow flatulence.
Fact: The global mean temperature has not increased since 1998 and has–in fact–decreased. In jaw dropping gaul these pseudo scientists say the cold is a symptom of global warming. Yeah–right.
Orbiting probes recording atmospheric conditions on both Mars and Saturn have recorded proportional temperature changes on those planets to that of Earth. Weird huh? I wonder what would affect the temperature on three separate planets. Could it be the Sun? Ya think?
What about the cannard of CO2 in the atmosphere? Do any of these environmental rocket scientists realize that the production of one major volcanic explosion like–say–Mt. Pinatubo, produced more “hot house” gasses than the entire industrial production of mankind since the invention of the steam engine. Weird how we didn’t get baked alive, don’t ya think?
What Global warming is about has nothing to do with environment. It has to do with state control. Is it any wonder why every global warming nut-job is a lefty’s lefty. Presently, they want to tax farmers for cow farts, carbon taxes for your tires, how much water you flush down the toilet (green types can’t seem to stay away from bodily functions) and on the list grows. Even recycling has been proven not to be cost effective.
What global warming is completely about is socialist control couched in the form of something people mostly would not disagree with–namely–having a clean and efficient infrastructure and environment. Yet, as there is nothing man can really do to affect the global environment, then this is simply another way to empower the statists with your tax dollars. Always follow the dollar. For example, Al Gore, so-called king of environmental awareness, pollutes like a robber baron from the early industrial age. A chartered jet uses more fuel than a full size sedan uses in a year–Al! Your mansion may have solar panels and bricks in the toilets, but you still use 60 times more power than the average American. Ever see Gore lecture? Do you think he shows up in a compact hybrid? His entourage typically includes no less than three full sized SUVs. Beyond being a hypocrite–which he is–Gore stands to profit mightily from things green. Good all you tree huggers feel good about him, whilst you adorn yourself in hemp clothing and drive around in smart golf carts addorned with bumper stickers printed in soy ink.
Folks, quit giving in to these con-men. Give global warming loons the heave-ho and whenever possible, tar and feather every environmental grifter you come across. Starting with Gore would be a step in right direction.
