I will be wildly unpopular for this but I find myself completely unable to believe this story. In fact, I smell a large rat. It just doesn't ring true on too many levels and I will have to wait and see if this is a true story or a massive hoax designed to gather up free relief funds from other nations.

No. I am not. I honestly don't believe this story and feel rather bad about that. But it just does not feel right to me. I genuinely hope that if these people are truly trapped down there that they are recovered soon and are able to go home to their families. But, I also genuinely hope that if this is a stunt of some sort, that it is found out before to much damage is done. I don't wish ill to anyone. I just have trouble believing this story.
