I live in Chicago—Fox News is leading their News tonight and last night with a film of an Honor Roll Student being beaten to death by Chicago Gang members on his way home from school and in front of a Youth Community Center. This film alone should be enough for the IOC, presently in Copenhagen making their City decision, to NOT choose Chicago—its dangerous here folks…two college kids were killed last night after the youth was beaten to death on Friday—and just this morning (after midnight) a person was shot at the Rock n Roll McDonalds in the exclusive River North (tourist) area of downtown. Its out of control. I’m sorry to say its all, yes, all Blacks involved in these beatings, shootings, and killings this weekends, but thats the reality here now…poor angry Black Youths are killing other people. Our Mayor is not doing his part to bring them hope through jobs, training, education, recreation—he’s only concerned about getting the Olympics. So very sad, a whole generation and culture is dying. We dont need the Olympics, let Rio, or Madrid, or Tokyo have them—they at least can control their criminal element where tourists wont be harmed or killed.

Not to argue with you but if that’s the issue, Rio would be no solution. Rio has a terrible crime problem and it’s overwhelmingly blacks there too. But who cares anyway? The real reason not to have the Olympics here is that both the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois are near bankruptcy. If the voters were rational (Hah!) or the politicians were honest (HA HA HA….), then nobody would even think twice about such an obviously stupid move. Fifteen years ago, before the Olympics BOOM, there were very few ill eagles in our neighborhood, and now they’ve taken over our entire city and county. Our son can’t find a job, and every traffic intersection looks like a UN convention. Houses are lined with Mexican meth just steps or feet or yards from us, somewhere too close by.
I don’t know this for a fact, but I strongly suspect that Chicago will indeed be selected by the Olympic Committee — for no other reason than that Obama is from there (at least, after he left Hawaii, Indonesia, etc), and they want to be politically correct and ‘not look racist’. It’s just the ‘thing’ to do nowadays, you know? You suck up to Obama and kiss his butt, with no dissent conceivable, unless you’re a hooded KKK freak or something. You HAVE to show your loyalty and support to America’s first ‘black’ leader (although he’s not really fully black), otherwise you’re a racist. And in my opinion, the committee will completely prostrate itself to that stupid thinking. I hope I’m wrong, though.

The real concern is the extent that all the insecure, paranoid hand-wringing surrounding this Fox report will actually backfire and turn the committee off. I like it: ‘ill eagles.’ I saw it in my small midwestern hometown, too, when I went back to visit this past summer: Latino’s, latino’s, everywhere. They send their kids to school, and yet don’t want them learning English (I heard this from an old family friend, a teacher, there). My hometown, and Atlanta, needs to DEPORT every one of those d-mned people, and send them on a one-way ticket back south of the border. I hope the Olympic committee will choose a venue other than Chicago. The last time I was in Chicago, I attended a convention. The truck parked in the convention hall parking lot was broken into and my company’s product stolen. The product was not high value computers or TVs. Nobody took responsibility, not the union, not the facility. It is obvious to me that organized crime was responsible. I don’t think the Olympic Committee can afford to have all of their stuff stolen. If they do choose Chicago, I hope they buy some iron clad insurance to recover the value of all their stuff that will be stolen.

WGN radio this weekend interviewed the leader of a local anti-Olympics citizen group. Afterward, I searched local media for more info, and wasn’t surprised not to see any stories in the Chicago Trib. Thank God for Drudge and Breitbart. How dare editors of so-called free-speech media kill a story for political reasons. I’ll likely move out of Cook County when the economy picks up, sooner if I get layed-off. Sick of corrupt politicians always getting re-elected. Now, I can’t even count on Fox in Chicago to be fair and balanced.

One important fact left out of the story: It appears the “Chicagoans for Rio” website might be a fraud, as it is being run by a Brazilian from a computer in Brazil. Fox is wise to hold off on the story until the truth can be ascertained. Contrary to what many here would have you believe, Summer Olympic Games are highly coveted and Rio is pulling out all the stops to get it, even stooping to shameless lies about the other bid cities. As corrupt as Chicago can be, can you imagine what goes on in Rio?

American Olympic games have been profitable to the host cities, because we do not build white elephant stadiums like Beijing, Athens, Montreal, etc. have. Montreal only recently retired the debt on their 1976 olympic stadium! In contrast, Chicago will build a temporary stadium for opening/closing ceremonies in Washington Park and scale it back after the event is over. Other existing stadiums/venues will be used such as McCormack Place, Soldier Field, and the United Center. An Olympic Village will be built along the south shore of Lake Michigan and the housing will be sold after the games.
A “world class city” does not rest on its laurels, but continues to build links to the world. Detroit was “King of the World” in the 1940s. Now look at it. Pittsburg was the steel capital of the world – now look at it. A city that does not constantly strive to reinvent and promote itself declines and perishes. What if Chicago had been content with being Hog Butcher for the World or America’s greatest rail transportation center. Where would it be now? The world thinks of Chicago in those outdated terms. Chicago will benefit from the makeover the Olympics will provide and become a true “world class city”.

Based on the hatred being shown for the Obamas, I guess it is futile to point out that Olympic bid for Chicago was started at least 2 years ago. Yeah. Blame Obama.
I’m kinda hoping Tokyo gets it and not Chicago, just to stick it to Obama. Obama has more pressing matters to deal with than trying to bring the Olympics to Chicago, new unemploment numbers come out next week and I’m giving it a 50-50 shot of hitting 10% (its at 9.7 right now, up from 9.4 the month before) and he is not only taking time his own time away from dealing the economy but has people working in the administration on the Olympics? Besides Japan has had a flat economy for the last 20 years, they could really use the boost. And Tokyo is a great city, its just like New York (great food, a lot of people, tall buildings, taxi drivers don’t speak English) only poeple are really polite, most public transportation and most of the people using it are clean, and waitresses wont take tips.

Look, I don’t like Obama or Daley’s Machine anymore than most regular Drudge readers do. Yes, the AAs on the southside are running amok thanks to the “community organizing” of Obama, “Rev.” Wright, ACORN etc., Daley’s neglect, and foolish gun laws that favor criminals over law abiding citizens. But why you would support a Brazilian city over an American one for the 2016 Games is beyond me. It’s like cutting off your nose to spite your face. The Olympics in Chicago is good for the whole country and a chance to improve conditions in some of Chicago’s most impoverished communities. And Obama and his cronies will be out of office 4 years before, so not to worry.
No city in America is perfect. But Chicago gets the job done and would put on a successful and profitable Summer Olympics. Again, if a city – or a country – doesn’t strive to lead and improve it perishes. Do we really need to play second fiddle to a developing South American country? Nobody “banned” the airing of this news report. It shows the depth of ignorance of your typical Drudge-reading right-wing neanderthal that they read that the video was “banned” and don’t have the criticial-thinking skills to question how on earth the IOC could “ban” a news station from running any report it wished to. If you seriously believe that is possible, I recommend you contact your local junior high school and see if they will let you sit in on a Civics class for a semester.
What’s apparent from watching the report is that the Fox station’s editorial slant on this piece to begin with is to gently mock the Chicagoans for Rio website, so it’s hardly a stretch to conclude that if the IOC contacted them and opined that giving such a group publicity, even mocking publicity, could hurt Chicago’s chances, that the Fox station reached their own editorial decision not to re-air the piece. End of story.
Olympics, the whole thing leaves me cold and unenthused. I don’t think about it until it is about to happen – I don’t miss it when it’s gone.
For the folks who spend their lives training to make a run for the gold I know it’s worth their while, but with the age of Obama upon us, don’t these people have something more useful to do with their lives – like putting all that effort into Youth Corps? The ramp up to the Olympics is about the most anti Green thing going. All the resources and energy that goes into the building of the venues, the transportation, the lights, the polution, the Carbon Footprint – oh can’t you poeple see the damage you are doing!
I know we could all go on and on about the damage to the planet, but the thing that really sucks? The thing that is an insult and an afront to human dignity? It’s the cost to the local community!
The traffic, the people, the hassle and for a short turn gain to the local economy the region pays through the nose for years afterward.

Meanwhile farmers in California go begging for water and the unemployment rate in that state is growing faster than the corn in the San Jaucin valley, but that’s the price we pay to be progressive and maintain the difficult position that has our collective heads well ensconced up into our anal cavities.

Regarding the FOX report; I think it’s outrageous that they parrot a web-site(???) without even bothering to fact-check its claims. Very, very poor. We’ve gone from slanting the news by virtue of omission to parroting websites. I am sure there is plenty of analysis out there. I thought LA, Lake Placid, and Atlanta were all profitable and the US has fared better than other countries. I think part of it had to do with so much private funding vs public (at least in the past).
Oh, and can we stop the hyperbole? Chicago is not on the path to being the murder capitol of the world. It does seem like there’s been an increase recently in violent crime, but read the papers in other big cities. Not good either.

The Chicago Olympic Committee’s “complaint” to Fox was likely based on the fact that the “Chicagoans for Rio” site has been discovered to be a fraud perpetrated by someone affiliated with the Rio bid. The COC was well within their rights to point this out to the Chicago Fox affiliate and ask them to not replay their story, which implies that the site is a legitimate Chicago effort.
But, for the life of me, I can’t understand why many Americans want to see the U.S. lose this bid simply because Obama is from Chicago.

Chicago 2016 is not a government run organization. Neither is the Fox station. I don’t see how the wording of the headline is right. Chicago 2016 complained, as is their right to do. The Fox manager responded by ordering that a particular report not repeat. This is an internal matter within the Fox station. A bone-headed decision was made, to be sure. But I don’t see this as being a government intrusion at all. We have enough government intrusion without having to make it up.

The 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City turned a profit, but that was only due to the leadership of Mitt Romney, an honest, Republican businessman whose purpose in managing the Olympics was to put on a good game and make a profit. The History of that magnificent city is part of the fabric of the Country. However,
Chicago is listed as one of the most, if not THE most dangerous city in the USA.

It’s funny how when the games are on TV everyone rips them. The sports involved usually get no attention except for when the games are on. They are filled with corruption. And the whole thing has become one big money grab. But now all the people with property or looking to make a buck (and those little brother second city inferiority complex people) are dieing for the Olympics.
Traffic already sucks (my employer won’t care if a ton of people are driving to see some archery and horse riding), taxes have already been raised (and the state and city are in terrible financial shape), and I’m supposed to be excited because some fat cats will get richer while living here gets worse?

Unlike some of those other countries, Olympics held in American cities have generally turned a profit due to the strong natural business sense we have here in America. Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Atlanta have all been tremendous successes which added real long-term value to those communities. Atlanta in particular began a phase of urban renewal kickstarted by all the international money flowing in from having the Olympics, and it’s well on its way to becoming the “Chicago of the South”. Having the Olympics here in Chicago could be just the shot in the arm *we* need to cement our reputation as a city of international importance.

1) With Obama in Washington I suspect there will be more then a couple of “earmarks” for Chicago to help offset some of the cost to the local taxpayers.
2) On the rather safe assumption that the terrorist probelm will not be solved by then, if I were in Chicago, I would be very worried that the Olympics there would be a perfect target for terrorists

Obama and Chicago need the Olympics so the dems can field someone to counter Romney (Salt Lake 2002). Salt Lake had an excellent Olympics–nearly all locals will tell you so. The ski resort prices have gone up a bit, sure, but with locals-only discounts it’s not so terrible. I am reminded of the last time Chicago floated itself as a candidate to host the Olympics. Local columnist Mike Royko remarked that Chicago didn’t need the Olympics. He said that if he ever had a yen to watch young black men and young white men chase each other around, he could just go over to Ashland Avenue.
I visit Chicago once or twice a year and have for twenty years – business only. I have had a couple of run ins with law enforcement officers who approached me while leaving a mini-mart for a soda and pack of smokes – two different occassions – a few blocks south of McCormick Place during the daytime and been SCOLDED by them and was asked, ‘What do you think your doing? Do you know where you are?’ to which I responded politley and said yes I know where I am and I am on my way out of town because my business here is complete. To my shock … these two officers – both black men – told me to never come into this area again because I might not make it home if I were to do so again. I asked, ‘Why?’ and was told I was the wrong color to be driving those streets and to get out of my car was inviting a shooting – me being the victim.
Now I ask you commenters one question – what white officer would say that to a black man and not have the ACLU crawling up his arse with a probe? What kind of police officer would have that illiterate of a statement to make … basically saying that even though they enforced the law – they could not do so for you based on your color. Chicago is run by crooked screwballs from top to bottom – always has been, and always will be. Would you want your prospective Olympian child staying there for a couple weeks? Would you enjoy the ambiance? Leave Michigan Avenue by two blocks and get mugged, bullied or hit up by panhandlers? They are there and are accepted by all persons in a position to do something about it. AND OBAMA IS ONE OF THEM – a crooked liar with a sharp fork tongue. Good grief!

Chicago has the highest sales tax of any major city in the US. Barely a week goes by where a young student isn’t killed. City, county and state government corruption. Chicago does not deserve the Olympics, at least not now. The Olympics will just give the city a license to fleece the public. Here’s an example: I went to the U2 concert at Soldier Field two weeks ago. It cost $45 for parking! Outrageous!!! The lots are part of the Soldier Field/Museum/McCormick Place complex. There are very few other choices. Once the Olympics come to town, the rates will go up even more – along with everything else. And they will never come down.
Spend the money on fixing a broken system, a broken city.

Joe…the two-party system has been broken for a long time, and that is why I don’t belong to either one of them. I am an independent — and as virtually any current poll shows, we are also turning against Obama in overwhelming numbers (72% of us, according to one poll), because he’s been a tremendous disappointment. As far as whether the GOP makes any inroads in the next election, that remains to be seen but if things keep going the current direction, they will win (possibly very largely) by default simply because they’re NOT the Dems. And why not? It’s happened before — like last year and in ‘06 both, when Dems won by simply not being GWB Republicans. So, in the next election, if the rabid right fails to wipe the foam off its mouth…mainstream voters will be turned off and look elsewhere. There is no plan, no hope, no nothing but fear mongering. You can’t win elections simply by not being Democrats.

Folks, I hate break the hard reality to you but it’s unlikely we can wait til 2010, let alone 2012, for real change – and I hate that word now. If the Olympic committee awards Obama’s Chicago for the 2016 games, it likely cements the view by some that the biggest idiot ever to occupy the Oval Office is also the most powerful in the world and virtually nothing can stop him. Congress will not remove him by impeachment and neither will a court order saying he is not constitutionally qualified to be president, if such an order comes. Phil Berg of ObamaCrimes.com says it’s going to take 75 million Americans to force Obama to show his birth certificate. It won’t happen. But if 75 million Americans (roughly 1 in 4) from ALL 50 states get on a bus, train, plane with an American flag in their hands and walk up to the White House and tell everyone in the Obama Administration “You’re fired; you have til the end of the day to pack up your things and get out”, that will be true revolution and the only way I see that our country will be restored. All the capitol police won’t be able to handle it – they were already stretched to the bone to handle the 1-2 million Tea Party attendees two weeks ago. It will cost a lot of people money to make the trip but it will cost the country that much more now and down the road if we don’t. I’m dead serious. I see no other recourse.

Joe, if the Dems make people angry enough, then people will not vote for the Dems. Why would someone vote for them, if they’re royally pissed, at them? They’ll turn to someone else, even if that other party has not made much of a case on their own. It does — and has — worked like that, at times of political critical mass. What did the Dems really run on in 06, for instance, other than being chiefly anti-Bush? Simply not being the other guy does indeed work, sometimes. I agree, a party should have a clearly-defined message to run on…but if enough people get ticked enough at the Democrats, they’re not going to vote for them. The other side will automatically reap benefits, simply by not being the first side. It may not be as BIG a benefit as if they’d actually had a plan of their own, but they WILL reap some benefit of some kind. That’s why that poll I linked earlier for you has the GOP currently HIGHER than the Dems on a generic ballot, when the GOP hasn’t even done squat, yet. That’s one of the cardinal rules in politics: if your opponent’s making a fool out of himself, then by all means step back and let him. In other words, he can get you a lot of support, on his own. Now, the GOP has forgotten its conservative base, and in fact certain of its so-called ‘leaders’ are talking like YOU, Joe — they’re saying it needs to move away from conservatism in order to win. Which of course is precisely the opposite of the truth; just look at all recent history. When true conservatism has been embraced, the GOP wins landslide election after landslide election (44 states in ‘80, 49 in ‘84, 40 in ‘88 — when Bush ran on Reagan’s record — and the congressional landslide in ‘94). When it nominates party moderates and old guards, (Bush in ‘92, Dole in ‘96 and McCain in ‘04) it LOSES. This is one reason I don’t like the GOP — they are easily influenced by nonsense-talk from others, and are quick to discard the formula for victory. Yes, Joe…I think of myself as independent, because I AM independent. I am not registered with either party, and I vote for whichever candidate I think is the best choice. I do not have to be ‘liberal’ to be independent, or tow the GOP line, either. As for Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck, they do NOT tell me what to think…and as far as what powers their appeal, they’ve had radio audiences for YEARS and YEARS, Joe (particularly the first two) — no matter who’s in the White House! Limbaugh got his national start in 1988, when REAGAN was still President — and he’s been through BOTH Dem and Repub leaders ever since then and has retained his top ratings, regardless. You’re fundamentally misreading talk radio’s success, and the reasons for it. They are seen as a counter-balance to the liberal news media, which only displays one side of most issues, and acts as if it’s just ‘the way things are,’ and not merely an opinion, which it is. And people were sick of that, and talk radio finally provided an outlet for their views, as well. That’s the secret of talk radio’s success. If talk radio was not giving a viewpoint that anyone wanted to hear, then their numbers would tank, and they’d be off the air in a hurry. Fox News is another example — and it’s why Fox is undisputed king of the hill, when it comes to ratings. As for my concerns with Obama and all he’s trying to do, to portray it as ‘whining and moaning’ is frankly a pretty shallow attempt at minimizing and diminishing the concerns that I and now a majority of Americans have with the guy. We want to be left alone by the government, and not saddled with debt three generations out, and not have government controlling an ever-increasing part of our lives — which it is indisputably trying to do. Most of us are otherwise quiet folks, who don’t even LIKE politics — but who’ve been stirred to action by what is happening as we speak. And last I knew, that’s not only still legal but is also an intricate part of the process in this country (public dissent), and always has been. And it’s quite TAME, compared to times past, from the Civil War all the way to the mass dissent and riots of the ’60’s. And for this current crop in power — as well as their supporters — to berate, and name-call, and flatly LIE about such dissent only adds to our determination. In case you hadn’t noticed, all it does is make us push back even harder. And as I said earlier, we ARE having an effect. Obama is no longer supported by the majority on even a single major issue anymore, and Congress’ approval rating is at about 16%. Dissent is not legitimate only when it’s liberals protesting Bush — it clearly goes the other way, too, in an even bigger way than the first.
I think you all are getting mad at the wrong people. It was the station management that ordered the story not to be re-aired, not the Chicago Olympic Committee. According to the Drudge Report article, the Chicago Olympic Committe only said that airing the story “would harm Chicago’s chances” to be awarded the games. The way this story was worded, both here and on the drudge report, it’s trying to make it sound as if the Olympic Committee demanded that the story not be re-aired. tsk tsk… You gotta love Fox News for keeping things fair and balanced.

Wall Street is on an upswing, many of the banks that got bailout money are starting to pay it back, housing sales are up, retail sales are up. Jobs are a lagging indicator but should be rebounding in a year or so. Despite some mis-guided rightwingnutjobs, the president hasn’t raised taxes, but he did lower them. The only real issues are Afgahnistan and Health care but I don’t see the rabid right offering anything helpful there either.

Nobody’s buying it (other than partisan Obama people, who were in his corner, already). When a leader loses support (like Obama’s currently doing), that means people who supported him before or who were at the very least uncommitted are LEAVING him, now. He’s on the defensive; his support is shrinking — not growing. And this continued attempt of yours to both marginalize and broad-brush the opposition (calling them ‘far right,’ ‘rightwingnutjobs,’ ‘rabid right,’ etc) does NOT WORK, Joe. The White House and their minions have already tried that tactic, with very damaging results. While name-calling gives the left wing a self-kick of adrenaline, all it’s done out there in the real world (where they do not live) is alienate them from the people, even more. Hence, Obama’s sagging polls and growing unpopularity.
Lastly, the ‘Vote for me, I’m not a Democrat’ stragegy, as you call it, is not mine…it’s just the way things are currently, and may not remain. There’s a long time before November of next year — but regardless my point in bringing it up was — and remains — it IS enough to work. It’s worked for the Dems, and it can work for the GOP too, if the Dems keep self-destructing, as they are.

Well, he didn’t really respond directly, other than to say he’ll ‘think about it’ (going academic, as usual, at a time when firm, clear response is called for), and then he farts around for days on end…but of course finds time to fly his private jet at taxpayer expense clear across the ocean (how big a carbon footprint is that?), to make an hour-long appearance or so in Copenhagen, to push for the Olympics in Chicago. Not a very impressive man, as of late.
So you support those loyal, proud Americans who just a few weeks ago were carrying around signs that said, “Death to Michelle Obama and her two stupid kids” and “We’re unarmed, this time.” And those who come to political rallies with firearms strapped to their legs? You support those people, right? Good, that’s the best way to get more and more people to move over to your cause. Free speech and all..right?
My advice to you is to keep up with your tactics and be ready to offer a solid defense for everyone of them. Make sure the birthers are shouting in 2012. Make you’ve got your signs ready, too.
Trot out your “leadership,” Sarah Palin seems the best you got right now….but try to come up with something substantial…”You lie” isn’t gonna work as a campaign slogan.
BTW, the economy is far from “largely dead.” But thanks for saying that…it confirms my suspicion that you’re a complete idiot.
Joe, you’re following the classic pattern, here. You’re focusing on a few crazies, and trying to tar and feather ALL opponints, with them (btw there is nothing whatsoever wrong with bringing a firearm to a political rally…arms are part of American life, and are protected by the Second Amendment). ‘I’ don’t need to get more and more people over to my side of things, Joe…they’re coming already, in larger and larger numbers, on their own (hence the polls being as they are). ‘offer a solid defense?’ To whom? The minority of people who now back Obama’s politics? I didn’t even know what that silly, little trendy term ‘birthers’ even meant until recently — and quite honestly I keep forgetting about that particular matter entirely. Yeah…Sarah Palin has a pretty decent future, if she decides to go that direction — her book is already #2 at Amazon, just the day after it was announced, and weeks before it even shows up (not even counting all the other conservative authors whose books are also or have recently been at #1). Mass public activism IS substantial, Joe — and I don’t have to ‘come up with it,’ because it’s ALREADY OUT THERE. ‘You Lie’ has already worked quite well, both for Joe Wilson himself and for the movement at large. And yes, the economy IS currently largely DEAD…you don’t have continued massive job loss and 63% saying that the country’s on the wrong track, and have a healthy economy. It’s all just wishful thinking, from increasingly on-the-defensive Obama backers (partisans like YOU, Joe). Now, when and if the economy DOES recover (in SPITE of Obama, and not because of him) I’m sure like any and all presidents before him he’ll be out there soaking it up, taking credit for it with his cult-like followers happy to give it. All presidents do that.

And here’s what Garrison Keillor, of all people, wrote just today in the Chicago Tribune. I kid you not, these are his EXACT words, and I quote:
“Old men shouldn’t be allowed to doze off at the switch and muck up the works for the young who will have to repair the damage. Get over yourselves. Your replacements have arrived, and you should think about them now and then. Enough with the shrieking. Pass health-care reform.”
Good LORD! He’s talking about letting old people DIE to ‘get out of the way’ of the younger ones! Maybe all that talk about this health-care stuff being Nazi-esque was even more accurate than I thought…and no, you cannot say that Keillor was just trying to be humerous, here. He was writing a dead-serious article…emphasis on ‘dead.’ No wonder so many of the protestors today are senior citizens. Their lives are literally at stake here. What ever happened to classic liberalism, that looked out for the elderly and handicapped, instead of seeking to off them? How have we spiraled down from the days of RFK to THIS?
I could go on with specific examples like this all day, but it’s frankly a waste of time. You’ve not only avoided coming back with point-by-point rebuttals to what I’ve said (as I have done with you, repeatedly, now — including numerous web links), but hardly anyone other than the two of us is even reading this post, anymore. Everyone else has moved on, and I am, too. I’ve much better things to do, and I’ll not be back, after I post this. Just one bit of advice: it’s not good to condescend against the populace, when they challenge the powers-that-be. That smacks of a self-righteous, imperialistic attitude, that can tolerate no dissent…and it’s only been feeding the dissent, all the more. And no side of the political aisle which has taken such an attitude has ever ultimately lasted — whether it be a king, a Politburo, or an elected President. Those who take that approach — rather than simply acknowledge the dissent and respecting the right to dissent, itself — are always doomed to fail. That is Obama’s Achille’s Heel, currently — and it’s killing him. It’s killing him.

Since so far this year less people have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq combined than in the city of Chicago, well it was beyond idiotic and stupid to even try to get the Olympic committee to bring people in to that cesspool of robbery, mugging and murder. STUPIDER than STUPID. Chicago is one of the most Corrupt and Violent cities on the planet, that is an uncontestable FACT, lemme see they have Louis Farrahkanh, Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright living right down the street where that kid was beated to death the other day.. it is a foul filthy vulgar place because of the people that live there and for no other reason.

Why are anti-Bush ads proof of leftist ideals? You aren’t one of those hyper-confused people who thought Bush was a conservative, are you? Look at his record! He did nothing but increase the size, scope, and cost of government. Why the left wanted to defeat him is anyone’s guess, but running ads against him could easily have been a conservative effort.
