I love the idiot comment about casino’s policies of having folks check their weapons in. If there were more people carrying in the casino, something like this might never happen in the first place. Instead, these robbers have no fear of encountering someone with a gun by surprise. It’s been studied and conclusively shown that as legal carry rates go up, gun crime goes down. Why are the facts so hard to get through people’s heads?

your stats are irrelevant. The only number that counts is the total homicide rate. while the us may have a greater number of homicides commited using guns we have far less homicides than most other counties.
The point is that if you take away the guns bad people still kill people, yet having guns doesn’t seem to increase the total murder rate.
Look it up. your comment got me to do a little searching online for murder rates by country and the US has no where near the rates of intentional homicide as South Africa.
