Fox News: U.S. District Judge Nina Gerson said Wednesday that Congress acted unconstitutionally when it tried to stop federal funding of the troubled group last fall. In her ruling, she said it was "unmistakable that Congress determined ACORN's guilt before defunding it. ACORN alone was singled out for adverse treatment." She said there is a process when federal contractors can be suspended or cut off and that wasn't followed.

Russia Today: A war of words over the name of Joseph Stalin, who died 57 years ago, is being fought in Moscow, the city where he is buried. The country he led to victory in World War II is still divided over Stalin's place in history. Even the Russian government cannot decide which side to take – Stalin the great hero, or Stalin the evil villain. Ahead of the May 9 Victory Day celebrations, this longstanding discussion is literally taking to the streets of Moscow.

Fox News: Our most outrageous example of licensing madness is the plight of David Price, a man who learned the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished, especially when messing with lawyers. Price made the mistake of helping Eldon Ray, a fellow Kansan who was fined for practicing architecture without a license. Price didn’t represent Ray in court; he just helped Ray by writing a letter to respond to the fine. In states like Kansas, that practically makes Price Perry Mason. A judge (a lawyer with a robe) threw Price into jail on contempt charges, not to be released until he promised to never give legal advice again – ever.

Fox News: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's aides knew about concerns over ex-Rep. Eric Massa's behavior as far back as October, Fox News has learned, raising the possibility that the scandal could dog Democratic leaders even though Massa is now out of office. On top of that, a slew of outrageous reports and first-hand accounts of Massa's sexual conduct dating back to his Navy days have emerged since his resignation Monday.

YouTube caption: For the first time, Democrats admit what Americans already know about their health care bill: it would raise premiums, it's a windfall for drug companies and insurance companies, votes were secured through backroom deals, it cuts hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicare, and it raises taxes.

The Hill: "I think the entire debate that's been going on -- For what, a year or so? -- has reached a point where we're glad to hear the president speak out, and say what's on his mind and what he wants us to do, and get the country revved up," Woolsey said during an appearance on MSNBC. "But I don't think it's going to change a lot of minds."

Politico: “I have a certain sympathy for [them because of] the criticism,” continued [Karl] Rove, White House senior adviser and political “architect” for President George W. Bush. ''There's been a lot of attention paid to ... warfare ostensibly between David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel,'' he says. “There’s a tendency by the press to overplay that, and so I have a little sympathy for them on that. But I do think the press has got it right, that the administration has a disengaged, aloof president who has not set the tone with regard to legislation.”

"In 1990, aboard the U.S.S. Jouett, I was awakened when a senior officer, Lt. Commander Massa, seemed to be groping me. (I was a lieutenant at the time.) I believe he may have been drinking. I shouted at him and he left. I mentioned the incident to several other officers. I did not officially report it."

"I think that there is a real shot we [Democrats] are going to get slaughtered in elections this fall if we aren't leading the efforts to reform Washington. We campaigned in '06 and '08, and if voters don't see that change, we haven't lived up to that promise."

CNN: House Democrats said Wednesday that they will ban earmarks directed to for-profit companies. The move, announced by the Appropriations Committee and its Defense subcommittee, would apply to government spending bills Congress is considering for next year. But the committee said in a written statement that the new rules are also "intended to become a long-term proposition."
