Fox News' Eric Bolling gave a bad review of the Chevy volt earlier this year. Chevy asked to meet with Bolling to discuss ways that they could improve his experience with the "green" car. Bolling suggested Chevy loan him a Volt for a week so that he could get the full experience of driving it as a primary vehicle. Two days in a row that Bolling began driving it on a full charge the car only made it 25 miles before having to switch to gas.

Kid Rock stepped in to save the Made in Detroit clothing line from bankruptcy to support his home town and promote local manufacturing. Unfortunately, it turns out the Made in Detroit shirts aren't actually made in Detroit. Susan Tompor, reporter for The Detroit Free Press, found out the design originated in the Motor City. However, the T-shirts are made in the Dominican Republic, India, Honduras, and Ohio.
