Sad day when the manager of a baseball team has more leadership and common sense in his pinky finger than our "President" does in his entire body.

secularstupid   June 30th, 2010 - 7:33 pm

Finally…Thank you! The tea party is the best of America! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9_bP219ehQ

infinitefreedom   June 30th, 2010 - 12:35 pm

Sweet! Some integrity! & these guys really get the shaft by big government too. & anyone who wants to succeed in life, gets the shaft by massive over taxation. I only hope that we can elect enough Conservative Power to show libs how to give a country back it’s right to the pursuit of happiness. & Life & Liberty fallow…

EileenLiberty   June 30th, 2010 - 7:41 pm

Testing my new pic!

iconoclastKM   June 30th, 2010 - 7:45 pm

Well, I'm a Met fan… but the Cards are NOW my second favorite team!

DontTreadOnMe   June 30th, 2010 - 7:46 pm

I remember when it was not considered an "act of courage" to be in favor of supporting and obeying the laws.

Obama has brought lawlessness here. He has brought injustice here. Let him take his fall soon.

wmmwm   June 30th, 2010 - 12:51 pm

Now my least favorite team will be the team playing the Cards.

Baloshka   June 30th, 2010 - 7:53 pm

Bravo Tony! Oh yea, Tony has "Executive Experience" unlike Kenya Slim.

Makes sense.

RightWingStuff   June 30th, 2010 - 7:59 pm

Great to see that some people of notariety aren't afraid to take a stand.
You're a great American Tony.

Is it November yet? http://RightWingStuff.com

cgray   June 30th, 2010 - 8:04 pm

Well, I'm a Cards fan… but the Mets still suck. Nothing personal, it's baseball, you understand.

cgray   June 30th, 2010 - 8:06 pm

This is why LaRussa has been despised for years by liberal a$$clown sportswriters like Lupica and Bob Ryan.

Taguba   June 30th, 2010 - 8:12 pm

LaRussa should be taken seriously !!

his booze and drug induced opinion is greatly respected throughout the tea party.

Rosey24   June 30th, 2010 - 8:13 pm

I've been aCub fan now for over 20 yrs, therefore I've always kinda hated the Cardinals. But I will support Mr. LaRussa and the Cardinals from now on. Pujols gave Glenn Beck an autographed bat, too. That takes character by those two gentlemen!

Eileen for Freedom   June 30th, 2010 - 8:21 pm

Ok…I used to be Eileen for Freedom/Liberty…then EileenLiberty and now and finally…Eileen for Freedom!

unkeeaf   June 30th, 2010 - 8:22 pm

Good for LaRusa. I knew I liked that guy!

Taguba   June 30th, 2010 - 8:32 pm

yea, it was once an act of courage. but after 8 years of Bush, its now considered normal practice for the GOP. Just ask all those tortured to death, Valerie Plame, and the troops still in Iraq.

SunCrackedSoul   June 30th, 2010 - 8:35 pm

right on La Russa! TIme until the demos begin to attack him – 5…4…3…2…1!

86-44   June 30th, 2010 - 2:09 pm

You must be kidding you slug.

Name one positive thing obama has done in the last 18 months.

You might not have agreed or even liked Bush, but we were not in as much debt (by 2 trillion $ in only 18 months), we were safer as a country, and we were well more respected by the outside world.

Now we are on the brink of going broke, the only jobs that are increasing are Gov't jobs, England, France and Germany, (all in debt), are now saying stop spending and bama say no, we must keep spending.

obama has done nothing but brought shame on this country and made the US much more unsafe.

Taguba   June 30th, 2010 - 9:17 pm

Slug ?? i dont think that kind of talk adheres to the new kinder, gentler breitbart .

So Bush and his fine economic policies did NOT create this mess that Obama is trying valiantly to repair with the obstructionists in the congress and the liars on Fox/am radio on his back the entire way ??

When did bush keep us safe ?? was that before during or after 9/11?? how about the anthrax attacks or the DC sniper ?? How about after attacking the wrong country and letting Osama go??
we were the laughing stock of the planet with Bush buffooning around the country. Hell, he almost was arrested for assaulting the German chancellor.

Bush created 1 million jobs over 8 years. lets give Obama a chance to get to Clintons number in job creation. 23 million !!

How many bodies have you counted falling from the sky with Obama "keeping us safe" ?? HOw about planes falling form the sky ??or buildings for that matter?? Yea, he kept us about as safe as the Germans kept the Jews.

SubjectofUSSA   June 30th, 2010 - 9:23 pm

Clinton didn't create a single job you idiot, it was the internet bubble he rode easily into his second term. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out either.

ChicagoLou   June 30th, 2010 - 9:51 pm

A Cub fan salutes you Mr. LaRussa.

tomcat2915   June 30th, 2010 - 2:56 pm

Some people call Obama president , I do not, so far he has not prove to me he is legit to be in office. Even his wife made a comment, not bad for a guy from Kenya. I think people in white house are fearful of him, they want to be on good side just in case he become head of one world government as Obama has said is needed. He is leading the country down a road to socialism, so need to have him impeached, he has failed to as a leader of USA. He does not even salute the flag, while others either put there hand over their heart or in uniform they salute. Plus lot of people does not know he was sworn in on the karan, not the holy bible like the past presidents. He does as much as possible or least if you say, to get by the public opion and so not to look bad, he does not fool me. A retired military man, I did my part in military.

Taguba   June 30th, 2010 - 3:03 pm

Oh, kind of like the jobs Obama is creating now are not "real" jobs because a Republican had no part in the creation.

Too Funny !!

Too bad historians will see it a wee bit different.

downthetubes   June 30th, 2010 - 10:15 pm

Tony being an ex-laywer…I guess he still understand what a law is…

jamesinmx   June 30th, 2010 - 10:17 pm

if we are going to oust the commies out in nov., the tea party has to get stonger.have to go where the people are, ball field whereever.dont worry about hurt feelings, there on the left anyways.have to keep the energy going,or the tea parties will fade….then we are doomed. thanks larussa, you are a great american.

86-44   June 30th, 2010 - 10:25 pm

Hey dumbass, you never answered my question. Give it a shot and name one positive thing bama has done for you and/or the country.

As for the jobs comment, you truly are a dumbass. Bama has lost over 4 million jobs and is working hard to lose more. That is his plan you dope. The more people out of work, the more people need his intitilements, the more voters he gets.

You should not speak of which you do not know.

Now go back to your porn you dope.

86-44   June 30th, 2010 - 10:27 pm

Name one historian that sees it that way.

To date 500,000 temp gov't jobs are not "REAL"
40,000 private sector jobs are weak, but real jobs

You are a joke

86-44   June 30th, 2010 - 10:29 pm

dumbass

Sickofobama   June 30th, 2010 - 10:37 pm

Alright Laruzza!

Join us in fighting Obamunism.

The hell with La Raza and Obama and his union thugs and welfare slugs and guvment workers.

Taxpayer1234   June 30th, 2010 - 10:39 pm

LaRussa will probably find himself out of a job….

86-44   June 30th, 2010 - 10:53 pm

Hey dope can you read –

"The federal debt will represent 62% of the nation's economy by the end of this year, the highest percentage since just after World War II, according to a long-term budget outlook released today by the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office."

Way to go bama!

PaBowHunter   June 30th, 2010 - 10:55 pm

You Sir are now my favorite baseball manager of all time. Go Cardinals (and Diamondbacks).

if this is confession, i've been a cubs fan for 40 years.

… i was gonna say something else, but i can't go on.

TpartyPatroit   June 30th, 2010 - 11:33 pm

He had rejected reparations because reparations didn't go far enough. But if we have a program, for example, of universal healthcare that will disproportionately affect people of color because they are disproportionately uninsured, if we've got an agenda that says every child in America should get, should be able to go to college regardless of income, that will disproportionately affect people of color because it is oftentimes our children who can't afford to go to college.

Barack Obama is setting up universal healthcare, universal college, green jobs as stealth reparations. That way the victim status is maintained. And he also brings back back‑door reparations.

Glenn Beck

TpartyPatroit   June 30th, 2010 - 11:34 pm

they are all good.

iconoclastKM   July 1st, 2010 - 12:07 am

Yikes!

That's a bit harsh for a well mannered Cards fan (they are some of the finest sports fans in America).

But I won't take it personally "cgray"; it is baseball… I do understand.

I hope though, that we can agree on the Arizona bill attempting to safeguard our Nation's sovereignty.

Snailmailtruckr   July 1st, 2010 - 12:55 am

What?
LaRaza is for the Tea Party?

Ohhh LaRussa…

Nice going Tony… Love your patriotism!

own opinion dude. Don’t let the radical far left wing america-haters intimindate you pal, I’m
glad that your on we the american peoples side Mr. LaRussa.

“A nation is identified by it’s borders, language & culture!”

DontTreadOnMe   July 1st, 2010 - 3:36 pm

Who was "tortured to death"?
Valerie Plame was outed by Joe Wilson, her husband. She wasn't a covert agent anyway, just a desk jockey.
And the majority of the troops in Iraq are happy to be helping the people there. They feel like they're doing some good. Not that you care about them, though, so just stop pretending.

You're just another boring non-thinker with BDS who parrots whatever the media outlets tell you to think is "interesting" and "important". (yawn)
Very boring. Very, very boring.

DontTreadOnMe   July 1st, 2010 - 8:40 am

It WAS once an act of courage? I thought it used to be the norm, hence my statement. You're not very good at reading comprehension. I blame the BDS. Get some help. You're boring us all with your predictably incoherent moonbattery.

DontTreadOnMe   July 1st, 2010 - 3:47 pm

No one said anything about "kinder and gentler". We are fighting you Progs; no more letting you get away with lies and distortions. No more letting you intimidate voters, beat up citizens or go unchallenged when you dodge an argument. Get used to losing.

Every time you cheer Obama's inept handling of foreign policy or the economic crisis he can't do anything about except make worse with runaway Obama spending, you manage to look even more stupid and pathetic. Your talking points don't work here.

DontTreadOnMe   July 1st, 2010 - 3:53 pm

FACT: Government job creation has outpaced private sector job creation since Obama took office.
FACT: Government sector jobs pay on average about 70% more than similar jobs in the private sector.
FACT: Once the pretend "jobs" of Census employees go away, the unemployment figures will rise again, and again, the description will be "unexpectedly", even though those of us who are PAYING ATTENTION will have expected it.
FACT: Unemployment #s will keep going up as threats of tax increases on businesses and no end to gov't spending continues to take it's toll on the economy.
FACT: You don't know anything about anything.

Ella_Stella   July 1st, 2010 - 7:46 pm

Thank you Tony LaRussa! Glad to see someone threw the liberal left leaning media a good solid fast ball. Even though I'm a long time Braves fan, I've just added Mr. LaRussa to my favorite baseball manager list along side of Joe Torre.

proudgal   July 2nd, 2010 - 1:09 am

Baseball is the greatest sport in the world; LaRussa is my new favorite manager and his team is second only to…..The Giants.
It is so refreshing to hear a MAN talk.
