This morning I had an appointment to get my Florida state ID renewed. I’m afraid I let it expire because every time I tried to renew it online, I would receive a comment that they couldn’t find my information. Remembering my first unpleasant experience with the DMV office, I tried to make sure I had every possible piece of paperwork they could possibly ask for EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A FLORIDA ID ALREADY. I brought my social security card, my birth certificate, my marriage license and proof of residence just in case they needed to recheck anything. I’ve lived in Florida for almost 6 years. I’ve even owned a home in Florida and as I’ve mentioned—I HAVE A FLORIDA ID ALREADY.
I walked up to the counter and the lady behind the counter asked for my ID. She looked at my ID and then asked for my birth certificate, social security card and marriage license. I showed her my license for my marriage to my husband. Well, before I could pull out my birth certificate or social security card (which, of course, has my full name on it), she looked at my marriage license and said there was a problem. This is my second marriage. When I married my husband, I still had my first husband’s last name. She informed me that she needed a copy of my first marriage license and my divorce papers. Are you kidding me??????? I now have to try to order a copy of a marriage license from 1971?
I’m a United States citizen—born and raised. I’ve never even had a parking ticket. I am not employed now, but I was working here in Florida. I had to pee in a cup to prove that I wasn’t a drug addict before I could be hired for that job. The reason I’m trying to renew my state ID is because I know I’ll need it when I go to the airport this summer to pick up my grandchildren. I know I’ll have to show my ID and remove my shoes to help prove that I’m not a terrorist before I’m able to get through security.
I can’t believe politicians are so worried about how illegal aliens may be treated and not worried about what I, a United States citizen, have to go through because of illegal aliens.

I don’t blame Calderon. I blame the Democrat Party, and RINO Republicans like McCain, Graham, Chafee, G. W. At the end he calls it a “common problem.” Really? I was not aware that millions of Americans were sneaking across our southern border, like a bunch of criminals, to steal jobs and aid from the Mexican people. Wow! No wonder he is so concerned. Perhaps they should pay half of the costs for building the 1956 mile long electrified double fence, so that all of us stay on our own respective sides.

Another horrible day on the stock market..Deeper into debt…No serious solutions..and our president is more content entertaining a hypocrit who knocks our countries policies (which are nothing compared to his own country’s), rather than trying to fix the financial trainwreck of our country that is affecting all of us. Way to go BO. How about getting some cajones and making some tough decisions on the economy and immigration, above what the always-critical international community thinks. We didn’t become the only superpower by letting international leaders denounce our country from our OWN PODIUMS. All I can say is it’s a sad day…

This idiot (Calderon) heads one of the largest threats to homelands security we have. He should clean up his own house before casting stones. We gave literally billions to Mexico to fight drug lords and for border protection. Obviously its working wonders. Mexico is morally bankrupt, socially corrupt, and politically incompetent. If he read the Mexican immigration law, he’d find its far more onerous than Arizona’s. Barry doesn’t help when he chastises the very country which gave him a free ride over simply adhering to US Federal law. Frauds.
