The Democrat Representative, Peter Stark, was painfully clueless on basics of the economy, but he had no problem mocking the interviewer, who clearly had a better understanding of economics. Representative Stark’s comments regarding government debt being a good thing is typical for socialists who have no experience with running successful economies. In reality, it is time for the people to educate themselves, not relying on government to do it for then, since it is this type of elitist attitude that allows for representatives to threaten others so blatantly and crudely as Representative Stark did. The people of the United States are on the path to revolt by way of the ballot box in 2010, making the Peter Stark’s of the US government obsolete in public office.

Exactly the type of people that are running this country right now.
Obama, Democrats, and MANY RINO’s HATE THIS COUNTRY AND ARE DRUNK ON THEIR OWN POWER. They will continue this until all is ruined.

Stark is an idiot. Government’s cannot keep borrowing because lenders like the Chinese are about to say no, then what happens? They start printing money and destroy the economy.

If they don’t just print money, they will not be able to pay the interest without dramatic increases in taxes or, miraculously, more borrowing to pay the interest. (Another day older and deeper in debt.)

Government borrowing crowds out private business from the capital markets and inhibits real growth.

What happens if the US loses it’s AAA rating?

Cost of capital will skyrocket as we become a third world country.

1) Country continues to borrow money
2) Raising debt and increased deficit spending
3) Countries economy takes a downturn
4) Unable to pay back debt
5) Things get drastically worse
