TERM LIMITS ACROSS THE BOARD NOW!!!! 4 year terms, 2 term limits. VOTE ALL OF THESE POWER DRUNK PEOPLE OUT OF OFFICE!!! PIGS!

dontflagmebro   September 9th, 2009 - 10:12 am

ROFL and agree term limits. POTUS 1 term, Senate 2 terms, House, 3 terms. Why President 1 term? So they lead instead of keep running a election campaign.

lol president   September 9th, 2009 - 10:13 am

Oh lordy, another Republican (my Grand Old Party) from SoCal that is a liability. Jeff Stone running for Cal Senate is another quack disgracing my party. These jerks need to go.

kmichaels   September 9th, 2009 - 10:26 am

Yes, he is human, and should be replaced with a better Republican. However, sounds quite a bit like Bill Clinton.
And the dem press will of course play this up, while the dem politicians do even worse, every day.
Ah, hypocrisy.

Liberals Are Parasites   September 9th, 2009 - 10:26 am

Call your Senator today and tell them to stop the confirmation of Cass Sunstein. They’re going to try to rush his confirmation through today.

Whatwhatwhat   September 9th, 2009 - 10:32 am

Oh, boy, is this great!

I wonder if he whispered sweet nothings in my ear, he’d skip the asterisks and give me the gamy (g@y-me?) details…

I’ll give him a bath and put him in something naughty (like my H0LE?)…SWEET ECSTASY!

All I need now is chocolates in bed…and we’ll be melting!

Two choices you old perv:

1: resign

2: switch to the Democrat party (where it’s no big deal, and the press will back off)

Goodness must be nice to have a job where you can find the time to enjoy a good spanking, have a couple of affairs, and have the time to chat about it. Sheesh our politicians sure work hard for their salaries.

Thanks Mr. Michael “the spanker” Duvall – outstanding job! (insert eyeroll)

Todd   September 9th, 2009 - 12:06 pm

Toss the idiot out!

I suppose he is qualified to be a politician in either party, both of which seem to think arrogance, stupidity and perversion are the three pillars of virtue.

I am getting so sick of radical leftist and corrupt self described conservatives (NOT!)

tim   September 9th, 2009 - 12:26 pm

Well, let’s see. If he were a Democrat he’d be impeached. But seeing how he’s a member of the Party of “Values” he will write a book and Glenn Beck will determine it’s really a plot by evil Americans from the bad parts of the country.

Hey WHATWHATWHAT I’ll spank you! And I do have a pretty mouth.

ster   September 9th, 2009 - 12:28 pm

“Another “family values” Republican hypocrite.”

Why a hypocrite? Because he supposedly supported family values? Are you saying that Democrats don’t support family values?
They’re both hypocrites.
The sooner fools like you figure that out, the sooner we can get bums like this out of office.

But no… you parrot the line that a Rep is a hypocrite, but not a Demo. So, idiots like you keep reelecting people like this on both sides.

Feel better now knowing YOU’RE the problem?

Eddie George   September 9th, 2009 - 12:31 pm

He should just become a democrat. Then it will be a resume` enhancement!

Okay   September 9th, 2009 - 12:35 pm

He should resign. But who is the other Assemblyman that is at least equal party to this conversation, and why is his identity being protected? I’m guessing he’s a Democrat.

Foz-man   September 9th, 2009 - 12:36 pm

I love how all the Repub. posters try to point this back at Clinton. Own it Republicans! Hold this man accountable! Isn’t that what you do? Isn’t that part of a moral responsibility? This man allegedly cheated on his wife, with no less than 2 married women, isn’t it time for some good old Republican outrage at someone who is supposed to represent your morals!

Let’s at least look into his relationship with freakin’ lobbyist! Possibly criminal charges there.

What do you Folks expect? Meg Whitman said the winner of the race for California Governor will spend 100 Million Dollars.

Give me a Truck Driver, Janitor, Landscaper, or Small Biz. owner as Govenor over Attorneys or those owned by Attorneys any day.

Also notice when the name has an (R) following it. The media will say so five times in a very short span. When the name has a (D) following it you will not hear the Media mutter it once unless it is on page 12 of the News Paper.

How is Charlie Rangle doing anyways? Is he in prison yet for writing our tax laws as he hides millions from IRS?

Well, I’m a Republican and I vote Dem SOMETIMES but I think they ought to dump the idiot. Doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you’re on, this type behaviour (especially with a lobbyist) is what we as American voters should watch for and demand punishment for! I’m talking from City Councils all the way to the White House!

So he’s a lieing politician? They’re ALL liars and corrupt. This guy just likes poon and really seems to enjoy it a lot! Good for him. It’s better than hearing about some male politician buggering other men at least. Portland Mayor Sam Adams lied his way about goooming some 17 year-old boy, sticking his tongue down the childs throat in a City Hall bathroom, then how he sodomized the guy almost as soon as he had his 18th birthday. He lied all the way about it and he sits in office. This guy is no different and at least isn’t into homosexual activity.

Are term limits really the answer? If they know there is only a small amount of time to push an agenda, and have no consequences, what will keep them from doing as they wish.

Andrea   September 9th, 2009 - 12:59 pm

Ok, now we all know that if this was a Democrat everyone would be saying it is just part of human nature and men cannot help it, and its all about forgiving, blah, blah, blah.

So this man needs to hurry and switch parties and all will just go away. Better yet, get drunk put women in car as you spank her and drive into canal with water. After you enter canal get out of car, leave bimbo in car and walk to nearest house. Bimbo will claw until her fingers bleed as she tries to find her way out of car.

Then when he dies all will wale how he was the most influential man in politics ever.

Term limits, term limits, term limits. Seems power corrupts and we the average joe, get screwed by all the people who are suppose to be representing us and working for us.

What in the world is wrong with our politicians, if they are not sitting playing cards, taking trips on the tax payers money they are spanking some immoral bimbo as they slide into their midlife crisis. The man would have been better off calling Barney Frank and staging one of his staffers to ask a fake question while she went down on him.

Lets toss them all out, and start over.

don   September 9th, 2009 - 12:59 pm

A sleazy politician?! I’m shocked! It takes a real jerk to sleep with married women and then brag about it. I hope the republicans demand him to step down; they usually do a decent job of taking care of their own.

One word for Duvall: T O A S T

A Mom of 4   September 9th, 2009 - 1:14 pm

This is very upsetting. It’s no wonder that people don’t trust politicians anymore. We’ve got lying liberals who want government to take over every area of our lives. We’ve got lying conservatives who promote family values but can’t keep their pants up.

If you are going to talk the talk, you need to walk the walk. If you are going to promote traditional family values, then you better be faithful in your marriage or keeping your fly zipped if you are single.

This could not have come at a worse time. Conservatives are finally getting the upper hand regarding Obama’s lying and deception with “health care reform”, and stuff like this happens.

Duvall needs to resign. He has proven himself a hypocrite and a liar. He needs to be gone, I’m sorry to say. Geez!

Jim   September 9th, 2009 - 1:18 pm

If he were a Democrat Hillary would be telling us how its all a lie made up by the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. MoveOn.org would be telling us its just Sex and none of our business and we should ‘Move On’. Neither parties own a monopoly on hypocrisy. A true Conservative Party with true Conservative Values candidates would clean up in the USA. All polls ever done show the vast majority of Americans consider themselves Conservative, and only a well organized fraction are Liberal.

The people that keep voting this FAUX christian holier than thou people into office are to blame, maybe if you changed the station from FAUX NEWS once in a while and read more papers than the standard GOPER rags you’d learn that a whole lotta s3x has been going on within your party and the Congressmen and Senators you worship!
I’ll just bet next we will see him crying on FAUX NEWS, with those tears streaming down his cheeks saying “Forgive me, i have sinned” with the good little wife standing next to him looking like a deer in the headlight twit who stands by her man.

comicbookartist   September 9th, 2009 - 1:43 pm

I am very doubtful about the accuracy of this report. Could anyone clearly hear the audio of the assemblyman? I cranked my speakers to “eleven” and could only hear garbled jargon. The backwards message of “my sweet Satan” on Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven comes out clearer than this audio. Sorry, but I don’t buy this kind of thing unless I can hear the story the media is asking me to “read along” to. And why is only one guy’s face blurred out? Very strange.

Eli H.   September 9th, 2009 - 1:45 pm

I’m a Republican and I say the guy should be booted out and forced to resign immediately.
Yes, the hypocritical Democrats do more of this crap and worse and get a free pass by the press.
But I don’t care, our party needs to purge the sleaze bags and phony conservatives for our own sake.
As far as I’m concerned, married politicians, of either party, that cheat on their wives will not think twice to screw their constituents and this country!

Fred   September 9th, 2009 - 2:05 pm

I don’t care how/who he screws, I just care about how he votes.

Publius Speaks   September 9th, 2009 - 2:11 pm

Okay, I definitely lean right. That said, quit bringing up bad behavior of others (democrats). Let his constituents decide how to approach things. If he should resign so be it. Now as I said about brining up other bad behavior, I would also hope we can be consistent across the board and hold everyone to higher standard.
No communists setting national policy. Each person vetted otherwise it seems like a new version of the old boys club. Remember these people are screwing with your hard earned money. Imagine what you might do with $100-1000 back out of your pay check. If we had to write a check each month for what is taken out, we’d never stand for it. Look at what is taken out and then see if you could more towards health care, bills, or anything else.

PUBLIUS   September 9th, 2009 - 2:19 pm

I am a Republican. This bum needs to resign. Throw him and others like him out. I hate hypocrites. They make my party stink. My apology to my fellow American citizens across the aisle. We are supposed to stand for something higher. At least you Democrats don’t stand for anything really, so in truth you are of higher character than we in terms of behavior like this. Again, throw the scumbag out.

hmmm   September 9th, 2009 - 2:20 pm

my hero. with a spank, spank here and a spank, spank there, here a spank there a spank, everywhere a spank, spank. doesn’t matter what party, they all cheat.

Jeremy   September 9th, 2009 - 2:20 pm

The problem is that the current group of Reps aren’t part of the moral conservative segment. We’re outraged at this behavior and it won’t be tolerated.
To Liberal Dems this isn’t an issue because they have no values to begin with. This is only a scheme to take the spotlight off of the Health Care debacle.
In other words, this wouldn’t be news if there wasn’t a need to cover up the Pres’ agenda. This very comparable to Clinton, what He did wrong then is
just as bad as this is, both should get the boot!

Republicans need to take back our party from the Blue Bloods!! Conservative leaders stand up and lead, the Nation will follow.

Lady liberty   September 9th, 2009 - 2:26 pm

Hatchet   September 9th, 2009 - 2:30 pm

I SMELL A HATCHET JOB.

What kind of morons are you people to think these women did it for their job canvassing for a #*$#&* private company? You think his voting one way or another on a bill or two to help a single private company is enough for a hot woman (at least two) to sleep with a slug-looking putz like this guy? PUH-LEEZE.

These women are nothing more than prostitutes posing as lobbyists, paid to get this guy caught up in fantasy sex. WTF do you think a guy like this turd is going to do? He is fat, clumsy, stupid and entirely unattractive and unappealing. And he has these exploits with young, hot women? LOL. It’s pure fantasy to him, so yeah, he is going to go for it as much as possible.

Step one: Get him caught up in it.
Step two: Get him caught.
Step three, out the door he goes, and put a liberal in his place.

Divide and conquer, that’s all it is. This is not about lobbyist/influence corruption it is about BREAKING THE CONSERVATIVE BLOCK IN CA.

John Sherman   September 9th, 2009 - 2:32 pm

Isn’t it usually the constituents that get screwed by the lobbyists?

Capn Jack   September 9th, 2009 - 2:33 pm

Why would the lobbyists have affairs with him – he has no power since he is a Republican!!! So they must be doing him because they have a bad marriage and need him??

If he has always been so open about his affairs, why hasn’t anyone come forward years ago?? Seems like something is up and the Demos now need to get rid of him or some other politician want a go with his mistresses or the Demos want to paint all Republicans as bad for some political reason such as to divert attention from Washington and the Demo Mess there?

In any case, why should are the Demos demanding he resign, he has not done anything more than Clinton and he did not resign and he is not doing anything to his mistresses that Obama and Pelosi are not doing to the Country!

will   September 9th, 2009 - 2:43 pm

He was wrong to give in.. he should go.. but, In all the comments not a single one about the woman… These companies hire these bimbo types for this very reason… they are everywhere and in all the state government halls.. luring with th potential promise of fast sex. The parade about the halls of government with ultra short skirts and suggestive demeanor’s.. mixed with the egocentric nature of most vet politicians and these “call-girls” get the agenda pushed their “pimps” companies want. If you ever visit a state capital.. the hottest woman you see in the capital buildings are the lobbyist.

Brazo Duro   September 9th, 2009 - 2:44 pm

For Republicans its better to go down swinging, or spanking for that matter. Barney Franks’ ” boy toy” ran a gay ( so as not to say homo)
prostitution ring out of the congressman ’s (man?) office. The government controlled media gave him a pass.Yet our California Republican’s ass is now grass.

At least he wasn’t formerly accused of rape (Clinton on at least 2 occasssions) nor did he ditch his companion in a river, leaving her to die (Teddy) . We conservatives cannot and must not engage in any scandalous behavior. Otherwise we are toast and may lose are just fights.

Dgleon   September 9th, 2009 - 2:44 pm

Time to vote this hypocrit out of office!! I hope his wife takes everything he has.

I'm Conservative   September 9th, 2009 - 2:50 pm

Yeah Right   September 9th, 2009 - 2:51 pm

Does he wear boxers or briefs?

GOP Hypocrisy   September 9th, 2009 - 2:53 pm

Another Republican sex scandal. People talk about how there is a double standard and Republicans are treated worse than Democrats for these things.

Here’s why: It is the Republicans, like this guy, who preach family values and then destroy them. Democrats are wrong, too, when they have affairs. But, Republicans are wrong AND hypocritical when they do it.

This is the kind of guy who would prevent two people who have been together and committed to each other for decades from marrying or adopting children together… because they are gay. He calls THEM perverted, while on the Assembly floor he talks about spanking a married woman being married himself. This man is a buffoon of the highest order.

Why the double standard? Do the math. Hypocrisy will always sell more papers. My *former* party is imploding on itself because people like this are chosen to lead. Sad.

Mike   September 9th, 2009 - 2:53 pm

A person that cannot honor his or her family cannot honor their own community. These people are weak and have no loyalties except to themselves. Family and community mean nothing to them. They are today’s Roman elite.

Obama was right about one thing. We need change; change in the passive way we deal, or rather don’t deal, with constantly being taken advantage of and abused by our own government. This is no conspiracy theory. It is a fact that our government is wasteful, abusive of its power, biased, self-serving, and secretive. Are these the values this country was founded on?

Get real people. It’s not Rep. vs Dem; think of it as two boxers that have been training in the same gym for a long time. They spar together; sure they get into it sometimes and want to knock each other’s heads off. But when it comes down to it they’re from the same gym and really follow the same game plan. As long as one of them gets the title, the gym wins.

So, at which “gym” do these two failure political parties train? Hmm…

chas holman   September 9th, 2009 - 2:54 pm

Is there not earnest and honest republicans who will admit the basis of being a family values party is a pure charade?

There was a time when I expected Democrats to act this way.. but suddenly they are the ones worrying about family values, things like health care and the recession recovery, while this Republican representative is worried about what little girl he can ’spank’ next.

The beat goes on.. God help us all.

I say we get rid of all the present politicians, establish strict term limits, and insure there are no exceptions allowed. Jim   September 9th, 2009 - 5:37 pm

@John Steinbeck

The answer is really simple. Political enemies will take any chance they can to take a shot. Even if it means being hypocritical. Also, when you put yourself on a moral high horse as the “family values” Christian republicans do, you set yourself up for a big fall. If your morals are dubious or undefined you can’t be held accountable! Capic?

Over half the comments here are “Tu quoque” (you too) like this one. So now its OK if the Democrats do it? I thought you hated these people and everything they stood for. YOU’RE USING BELIEFS AND BEHAVIOR YOU ABHOR TO DEFEND THIS GUY? WTF?

Fact is, when sex scandals only involve sex, it is a personal matter. Gov. Sanford, for example (unless he used public money to wrongly fund his trips to Argentina).

But in this case, there is a possibility that he traded sex for votes. That needs to be looked into and is inexcusable if found to be true.

John Steinbeck   September 9th, 2009 - 6:41 pm

Jimmy and Joey,

“you put yourself on a moral high horse”,

The only people who have done that are the Libs and their enabling liberal biased media who like to put the Pubs there so they can take them down. Pubs don’t support abortion or queer ‘marriage’, so, to libs, they are on a “High Horse of Morals”. That dog don’t hunt. They just don’t agree with libs, so the intolerant libs attack them.

“Tu quoque” (you too), TO DEFEND”

Eh, I’m not defending the perv. I simply pointed out the hypocrisy of the libs who defended Sicko and in the next instant scream about someone else doing it who isn’t in their party.

I would love to see libs go after criminals selling favors. Maybe you could start with Harry Reid and Nanny Pelosi.

Ben   September 9th, 2009 - 6:45 pm

This type of action is just plain wrong, term limits yes, limit his term to as long as it takes to give him the boot out the front door! ASAP! He is a disgrace! Lemming Citizens   September 9th, 2009 - 6:52 pm

This big sad dog-faced reporter is a complete idiot! Don’t these idiots realize that when these guys get elected, they can do whatever they want with whomever they want and aren’t answerable to anyone? They cheat, take bribes, steal, have sex with anything that moves, brag about it, threaten people, they don’t have enough arms and limbs to move concurrently to take care of all the dirty deals they need to do, and don’t you DARE threaten to report on them or ask them questions, because they are too busy to do ANYTHING but take care of feathering their own nests. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that reporter or anyone else who goes near this filthy individual gets his family threatened. This is American government today. And if your think this piece of utter human garbage gives a damn about the women – who themselves are EQUALLY to blame – you can already hear the evidence to the contrary on this tape. California, these are your tax dollars paying for these sex hungry sinners to do their thing on your time. So lie down like lemmings and just let it pass. Good lemming citizens!

Joe Anderson   September 9th, 2009 - 6:59 pm

John Steinbeck:

Hypocrisy is almost always a losing argument. All I have to do is fire back and call Duvall, Stafford (not Sanford), Ensign, Fossella, Craig, Gingrich, Haggard, Sherwood, Giulianni, Hyde, Vitter, Foley, Allen, Burton, Chenowith and Livingston hypocrites because they were supposedly proponents of family values and some even denounced Clinton. There is no way to prove that one side is MORE hypocritical than the other. It just goes around and around in circles.

And in the end, it doesn’t really matter and misses the true argument which is: Did the politician act in an unethical or illegal manner?

That’s what I want to know. Not this little children’s game of who is more hypocritical.

MSNBC, the station where you can NEVER watch 60 SECONDS of TV in a row without a mention of Bush or Cheney or Palin or O’Reilly or Beck or an image of the GOP elephant icon! It’s a guarantee. rebootamerica   September 9th, 2009 - 7:11 pm

Why settle for half measures:

ABSOLUTE LIMITS: 1 term president. 1 term senate, 1 term congressman. No salary. No benefits. Citizen servants like the founders envisioned. No later government or lobby employment. Six months per year in DC max for senate and congress. Gotta go home in between and after. And like the elders of a church, the only requirement to be a candidate for the job is that you don’t want it. Your neighbors have to be so sure your right for the job that they actively persuade you to do it…for your country. That would mean no lawyers, just people.

Remember, there’s only 537 of them. One planeload. The bounty of America is that every day our skies are filled with hundreds of planeloads of competent people who would make honest work of serving. We’ve tried the educated people, lets try the honest people for a change.

Maddow: Bushies Darth Vader Beck, Palin makes me sick

Maddow: Deep deep down in there somewhere, I really am a woman, I really am
Shuster: heh heh heh heh heh, Republicans suck
Olbermann: O’Reilly is a racist misogynist redneck lying homophobe
Viewer: Um, do you have any PROOF of any of that, Mster Olbermann
Olbermann: Are you crazy? I don’t watch Fox News! EVERYBODY knows what’s on there!
Shuster: heh heh heh heh, someday I’m going to grow up to be a man and maybe even have “objectivity”
Olbermann/Matthews/Maddow together: Call Immelt, Shuster broke the Cardinal O-word Rule, danger! Fire him!

1. If this was a dem it would never, ever, ever have been reported by the Democrat staff.
2. Goes to prove that women (married) will do anything to get their way, and to further their careers.
Men are hopeless in this situation. Any younger one that approaches a man(feisty of course) will get their way with any straight man. And the man will always get blamed. I think we need another law to protect women from throwing themselves at men in power (cause they don’t know any better). And for those of you that have faith in either party, you are doomed. They both could care less about you.
