Also, as an aside, this is something regarding the health care fiasco that I’ve wanted to state for weeks, and it probably has already been discussed on these posts. Regarding the 200 million “Louisiana purchase”
the Louisiana Senator procurred for her state last month, Thomas Jefferson’s original purchase of the Louisiana Territory at the turn of the 19th century was only 15 million, and that included territory into the Rocky Mountains and up to Canada. I realize inflation and all but my god. Of course, Keith will submit the standard kool-aid reply that it originally wasn’t Jefferson’s to purchase and that it was stolen from the native Americans, but then who did they “steal” the land from? Archeaology books could clear most of that up.

18 million people under age 34 DON’T want to pay for employer insurance they are counted as part of the 46 million.
This leaves less the 4 million truly “uninsured”.
With $300 billion in defensive medicine cutting that would save enough to pay for the truly “uninsured”.

Chocolate Rations Increased to 25 Grams!

This reminds me of the chocolate rations in George Orwell’s book 1984.

Chocolate was rationed, and the Obama, of this book increased the chocolate rations from 30 grams per week to 25 grams per week.

That’s right his increase was actually a decrease of 5 grams, but the lie was to big not to believe.

Believe it or not YOUR taxes are scheduled and WILL to go up in 2011. This goes for everyone, not just the rich.

There are a variety of examples I can provide, but let’s just take the fact that in 2011 the 10% tax bracket goes away. This leaves the lowest marginal rate at 15%. Now correct me if I am wrong, but if the government would confiscate 15% of your earnings instead of 10% would that not constitute a tax increase? The way it is being mislead by Obama is this it is not a tax increase but just an expiration of previous decreases installed by the Bush administration. Now isn’t that wonderful. What if your boss walk in to your office and said we are restoring your salary to its old rate from 5 years ago, and insisted that it was not a salary decrease, but just putting it back to the way it was? You would think the boss was crazy! Let’s move on to the next item, the Child Tax Credit. Currently you get a Child Tax Credit of $1000.00 per child. In 2011 it is being reduced by 50% to $500.00 per child. Once again this will affect everyone. A lower middle class family with 3 kids can expect to loose $1500.00 in tax credits placing a high possibility they will have to cut Uncle Sam a Check at a time when they can lest afford the additional Obama Tax Burden. I thought only people earning over $250.000.00 would see a tax increase, and 95% of us were getting a tax decrease? Going back to the Tea Parties, they were a necessary first step in expressing the dissatisfaction at the Obama administrations contempt for the American Citizen. As one protester put it “It’s time for America to turn off the TV and get involved.” We need to turn “Yes we Can” into “Yes we Will”; Yes We Will remove Obama in 2012 if he continues down the path he is taking this Country.

I might suggest everyone read Senator Jim DeMint’s “Saving Freedom”. I am at the action plan stage at the end of the book. If enough people were encouraged to read “how to” books from freedom lovers, we just might be able to change this tide. We all need to remember that this health care bill has not passed yet. Yes, Nelson from Nebraska voted for the senate version, but after he got the message from his voters that if he votes for the final version he is toast, there is a good chance he will not go along with the queen and the queer. Further, the people who are going to be added by this legislation to get insurance are people who are already on some kind of entitlement program! The problem with your view is that “being allow(ed) access to health care” means “without paying for it”, which means “other Americans who work hard for their money should pay for it while these folks should get it for free”. Liberals are indeed very generous, but not with their own money. They want to take other people’s money to pay for their stellar ideas.
Following up on your idea, shouldn’t all Americans “have access” to transportation (a car), to a home, to heat in the winter, and air-conditioning in the summer? And, of course, that means that “someone else” should pay for it. This is socialism, pure and simple, isn’t it?
And wouldn’t those who presently go out and earn their money simply stop working, if they could get it all for “free”?
And wouldn’t that cause the collapse of the whole system?

The problem is that Congress is refusing to air the reconciliation process between the Senate and House health bills. None of the creation process or committee processes involving ObamaCare have been aired in public, and neither has the reconciliation.

The Senate and House health bills? Throw them out the window. You’re not getting either of them. What they are going to ram down our throats is being crafted in secret, behind closed doors where nobody can criticize it, and nobody will even realize what it does or how it affects them until it is too late.

In soft-subjects (i.e., not math, engineering, etc, where there were provable results) were reasoning was required, I always had an easy time telling which profs were liberals and which were conservatives: Liberals wouldn’t argue a point of disagreement without, at some point, resorting to a form of ‘we’re better than you’ just as you did re “education,” whereas the conservatives would debate at length and attempt to fill in educational ‘gaps’ so that you could reach their conclusion on your own and understand the mistake in your reasoning, or failing that, at least determine that the point of departure was from a non-intellectualized sticking point (i.e., “I just feel that…”). I got fed such a mound of crap in HS (e.g., early American history for one) that I made it a point to disagree with with professors’ assessments, even if I had to play devil’s advocate to do it, kept a record of their responses, and at the end of the class would ask them their politics…using that method, I was never wrong.

All someone needs to do to know the world is headed is for food crisis is to stop reading USDA’s crop reports predicting a record soybean and corn harvests and listen to what else the USDA saying.

Specifically, the USDA has declared half the counties in the Midwest to be primary disaster areas, including 274 counties in the last 30 days alone. These designated are based on the criteria of a minimum of 30% loss in the value of at least one crop in a county. The chart below shows counties declared primary disaster areas by the secretary of Agriculture and the president of the United States.

Citizens will do well to understand that the additional questions on the census forms are not legal and not enforceable.
All any citizen is required to do with a census form is list the number of persons in the household. Period.
You may want to tell your public school admins early…that your child will not be filling out a census form in the classroom. This is an end around plan in many school districts and it is loosely based on the fact that a ‘friend’ or other competent person can fill out a census form for you…if directed by you. In approaching your children, public school officials simply usurp your parental authority as they commonly do, usually without your even noticing.

If you elect to refuse to fill out a census form (I advocate that, as the current admin will attempt to falsify the demographics anyway for the sake of gerrymandering voting districts before the 2010 elections, and your refusal to cooperate not only keeps you from being on some Brown Shirt ‘threat and retaliation’ list, but it denies the admin knowledge of probable voter tendencies.) you could be fined one hundred dollars.
You cannot be imprisoned. You cannot be fined at the levels the admin would claim…because such fines and penalties are NOT law.
Citizens owe it to themselves to verify these truths and be prepared.

It is vital that freedom loving Americans also understand that the 2010 elections are going to be won or lost by the individual citizens.
By this, I would observe that the RNC not only lacks the funding it needs to address the political races nation wide, but even if the RNC had funds it would refuse to endorse or support a single Conservative candidate.

These folks who think government will be good at health care just have not thought it through. Medicare is broke. Medical is broke. Social security is broke. All of the government health care that has been tried in Massachusetts, Hawaii, Oregon and I forget where else, has failed. Yes, small countries, (or big countries with a smaller population), seem to get by AND I DO MEAN, GET BY, but we are huge. If a state can’t do it then 52 won’t be able to do it, together. I’ve spoken to many Canadians who tell you in the first breath how great it is to have “free” health care but then, later on in the conversation, tell the stories about the rationing, wait times, lack of equipment, beds, doctors, etc. Far more often than we know, these people cross over into the US for care.

So, about this transparency? This putting ALL OF THE NEGOTIATIONS ON C-SPAN? How about them earmarks? CS make sure you tell them to claim 9 not 25 because the employer has to report anything over 10 to the government. If you can not prove exempt of the 25 dependants they can fine you over $500.00. I use to do payroll so that is how I know and I did this for many myself and never paid taxes cause I got earned income credits becuase I was a single parent, head of household, of 1 of more kids.
