THERE IS STILL HOPE. It is a sad day today. But it is not over. No one should lose heart. They still need to go to conference and merge the bills that means merging the pork on either side and keeping the same rules in the bill. Funny isn’t it they will still probably run party line even though those on the Democrat side that say this is a bad bill will still vote for it. What the Republican need to do is get a bill passed that the CBO can study the final bill before it goes to the floor, counting all pork, all programs, and no tricks. If they do this they will hold back this bill and possibly stop it. There is still hope.

Ramming a bill through that NO ONE wants on Christmas Eve is unforgivable. Apparently the Democrats don’t care. The vote couldn’t have waited until the New Year? Shame on you in DC!

I understand this lady’s feelings on this disasterous bill, but she shouldn’t let it ruin her Christmas (and her family’s). We should all stand together and not allow this congress to ruin anything for us at any time. They must answer to the people – which is us! God bless the U.S.A.!

I’m ticked off, also. We have been betrayed by a bunch of incompetant leftist that are willing to sell out the freedom of others for their own power. These Marxist politicians, as well as the Marxist media have betrayed their country, forsaken their oath, and are intent on destroying the greatest country in the history of man. They are truly “historic”, but not in an honorable way. My own Senator has sold out her state, as a prostitute sells her body, for her own gain. The family name of Landrieu will always be associated with a traitor and an immoral, corrupt, lying, self serving Marxist. Landrieu = Marxist, Mary Landrieu has sold out America so that she can get her brother elected as mayor of New Orleans. She will come home after she gets voted out and easily find a political position, locally working for the “give me” crowd. Her father is a former mayor of New Orleans and kept dumbing down the useful idiots of New Orleans. Mary Landrieu is doing the same thing, working with the Democrat/Marxist Party. And her brother is going to do the same thing as the next mayor of New Orleans. This family is shameful. The more they can dumb down the local population, the more power they can gather for themselves. Mary is not afraid of being out of a job, she can always return to New Orleans and fill her pockets with money and rule with the local political machine. I suspect that many of these corrupt Democrats are not afraid of being voted out in the coming years because they know they can return to their local communities and easily find a job betraying America on a local level as many have been doing for years.

I agree with this woman. I have refused to spend time with my family this year as they are a bunch of Left-wing Progressive Liberals who think Obama is “God-Like” as was Jimmy “The Failure” Carter. I heard an interesting call to radio talk show last night….the caller was saying that once everyone has health care he can change his car insurance, and his home insurance, to remove the liability/injury coverage, thus saving himself money….
Although we should defeat this bill, it looks as if it does have even more unseen consequences.

Lori, that is completely wrong. It won’t work that way. Liability is for someone else not yourself. If you don’t have liability insurance you will lose your house and whatever else you have and have a lien on all future monies if someone sues you. Please don’t believe the propaganda the left is selling. They are liars. Seriously.

What America needs is insurance against damages caused by “our” illegitimate communist-infested federal “government”.

The next American Revolution Jan. 1st 2010!!! Time to return to America’s Roots and uphold our fore-fathers values and common sense! GOD BLESS AMERICA & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

So? Don’t celebrate Christmas if you don’t want to. Nobody cares.

Work to unseat them and let them know so they can worry. Call them once a week to remind them how you will vote. Put the fear of God into them, because they don’t have it now. Ungodly mess up there. The left are not bright enough to figure this out, but the very ones who put him in office are going to be hurt the most.

This bill will hurt those who can barely make ends meet and now they have to up for insurance, a poor construction worker who hires four Sheetrock hangers,,,will have to buy insurance for them? This is ridiculous. Most of the time the hangers make more than the Sub who hires them. Thanks Obama for helping the poor. Guess what will happen? The Subs will just do more of the work themselves and not hire any workers.

Things look dark now for our great country, but so did it for George Washington some 233 years ago.. Before he crossed the Delaware.

I have complete empathy for this woman’s frustration, disgust,disappointment, and for the extent of the heartache and stress she is going through with her son regarding his,opposing views. I have gone through much the same thing. The corruption with the dealings to ram this Health Care bill down our throats is unreal. These Democrats who voted for this convoluted bill are just bent on grabbing power from the people as fast as they can grab it with their greedy little fists. Will the voters show themselves to be the simpletons the politicians believe them to be, or will we throw every last one of them out?

I get up each day hoping to read that a senator died in the night from a heart attack or something. It’s sad that this is the only way we can stop this health care. They know we don’t want it, yet they sell their souls and take bribes instead of listening to the people that elected them to office. Just wait until next November. In the meantime, I will get up each day and check the news for good news, that one or more of them is gone.

The question as to whether people are “opposed” to it is absurd: WE DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT’S IN IT!

And we’ve seen bribe after bribe and coercion used to get votes.

But don’t let the j’a**es spoil your Christmas – just VOTE THEM OUT and…

If we force our states to join together we can form a constitutional convention it only takes 38 states. We can force congress back to what the constition says Federal govt. is suppose too. National defense and foreign affairs and thats it. They have taken away another states rights.
We fought a Cival War over states rights it could happen again. It won’t be North South it will be The Coast against Fly over. We can take away their food and let them eat their insurance forms.

One day, everyone but the most ardent ideologues on the right will realize that the unregulated ‘market’ for health care and health insurance made no sense whatsoever. People are going to like being able to change jobs (and transfer into a new health plan with your preexisting condition). They’re going to like having an insurance exchange (free-marketers should like that; the legislation is actually creating a market where none existed. For now, and if it makes you feel better, vent all you want. You lost the election.

Yeah. I wish she would take down her pants before urinating. What a mess.
