Buried Haiti Man Lived on Beer, Cookies & Coke for 11 Days

Daily Mail: For 11 days, 24-year-old Wismond Exantus existed in a nightmare. Buried alive, he survived on beer, biscuits and Coke, and banged desperately on the broken walls that weighed down on him to get someone's attention.

He did not know if anyone would ever hear. He prayed, recited psalms, and slept.

On Sunday - hours after authorities called off the search for survivors in Haiti - a journalist heard Wismond's pleas for help.

A fluke of chance for sure that he was able to find some sustainence while trapped for so long.

He told God that he will dedicate his life to Him now? Why not before? Better late than never I suppose.

Hey Terry, I’ve been reading some of you’re comments and I’ve come to the conclusion that you’re simply a miserable & lousy human being…

Terry2   January 24th, 2010 - 11:34 pm

Wh1tes are so naive. They think, or feel I should say, that wasting resources on people that are incapable of even caring for themselves will somehow pay off. It won’t. These people can’t take care of themselves so they are never going to be able to help you, even if they were willing (which they aren’t.) Fools.

At least we know it wasn’t Anderson Cooper who found him otherwise the headline would be “Anderson Cooper saves another life”

That guy looks too good after 11 days, his hair looks like it was cut yesterday. Makes me wonder whether this was staged, like maybe he crawled into the wreckage in order to be rescued.

Terry   January 25th, 2010 - 6:08 am

The Jews were hiding him all that time and then brought him out as if he was “rescued.” After all, everybody knows that only rednecks could survive on beer, cookies and coke for 11 days.

ButtNugget   January 25th, 2010 - 7:22 am

They talk like living on beer and cookies is a bad thing.

Libtard Old media at it again   January 25th, 2010 - 9:38 am

Wilbur, I notice the same thing. This is staged. And I believe the reporter is the same Lib hack that got in the middle of the Israeli protection of it’s border with the Gaza Strip and then said she was fired at intentionally by Israeli troops.

It is an antique sentiment to say God had anything to do with this. People saved this person, not God. People saved this person and many others. One may humbly say they perform “God’s Work” but anyone can see that it is people who always do it. God never lifts a finger!

RogerCfromSD   January 25th, 2010 - 12:13 pm

citizen, God is life, love, and hope. You don’t seem to have appreciation for any of them. I’m afraid you would’ve died within a few days had you been in this man’s situation.

Don’t like GOD? Well SATAN LOVES you, and will wecome you to HIS home. YOU CHOOSE!
