Dear Joe R. at 11:50 pm…first of all thank you for your comments. They were informative and no one disputes that there are those Americans in our Republic that need help.
You need to go back and read my comment carefully and you will see that I am not against funding additional unemployment insurance to those who need it!
What I did say, and why I agree with Jim Bunning, is that someone has to stand up and stop the deception that is going on in Washington.
What I mean by ‘deception’ is that they take a very necessary piece of legislation (continue funding of the unemployment funds) and put it in with something that is ‘pork’ to get it passed. It is dirty politics as usual in Washington in these desperate times, and they are still using their lies and deception to do what they want.
The Congress just passed a piece of legislation that makes them ‘pay before they pass’ and Jim Bunning is attempting to hold them to this bill…just passed.
It isn’t that Jim Bunning wants to stop funding for unemployment for millions across this Republic and in his own state…it is just that he is trying to reveal the hypocrisy of this bill and the Democratzi ‘loons’ trying to hide something!
So people please read what he is doing…it is for your benefit. He is trying to make the Congress fess up and be honest.
Harry Reid, and his other Democratzi ‘loons’ have been sending through bill after bill (TARP, Stimulus, Omnibus, JOBS bill, etc.) with no time to read them because within their pages are hidden secret deals and briberies.
They want their ‘government run’ healthcare to pass…so they come out on TV and tell Americans we want ‘all’ Americans to have health insurance and then proceed to chastise the opposition to ‘government run’ healthcare as if they don’t! But within their bills is funding for abortions and insurance for illegals, etc. But they are using key words and phrases to persuade you that they are right…and they are wrong!
Everyone agrees that ‘all’ legal citizens should have healthcare, but we disagree on how to go about it!
Now he is doing the same with this bill…appealing to the masses to make you think that Jim Bunning and others don’t want you to have any more unemployment.
That, too, is a lie! They took a very important, and needed, piece of legislation and combined it with others.
They are bypassing the very bill they just passed to make sure the funds are there before they spend. They are breaking their own laws.
There is no more money! There is no more money!
If you want to go against someone, try the Democratzi ‘loons’ who promised $3 billion/million dollars to Louisiana for their vote.
If you want to go against someone, try the Democratzi ‘loons’ who bought the vote in Nebraska to the tune of trillions.
Those are monies that should go to unemployment for ‘all’ citizens not just those to buy their votes.
So let’s focus on what is really is the problem…the Democratzi ‘loons’ in power who have put us in this position today where you and millions of others have lost their jobs…and if we don’t stop them and stand up and speak out…millions more will lose their jobs.
Until then…we have no money! The Democratzi ‘loons’ have saddled your children with trillions of dollars in debt to a COMMUNIST country! What happens when they come to collect their debt, give them your children?
Please, I sympathize with you…but you must understand that Jim Bunning, and others like myself, are not trying to stop your getting unemployment…we are just trying to get it to you in the right way.
In addition, I have always…always appreciated those who have died on the battlefield and served in the armed forces to protect my freedoms and liberties…and I am doing the same today…not in the same venue…but in speaking up and speaking out to keep our freedoms and liberties.
Our enemies today are not on the battlefield in a distant land…they are in our government in our own nation!
Thank you, again, for your comments…I know you will be okay if we stick together and not condemn those who are trying to help realistically…and not just by lies and deception.
One other note…I am now watching Bilderberg Bush-Obama on TV spewing his ‘buy the masses’ propaganda yet again.
Going to give more money incentives to citizens who still have their homes to put in insulation, etc to save energy.
That is money…Joe…that you and others need to keep food on your tables for your children.

I support your heroic actions on the Senate floor!
Despite attacks from the Dems and Obama, I truly appreciate your strong stand on principles. The media fails us yet again when they choose to ignore the fact that Reid’s scuttling of an earlier bill did the exact same thing in effect that you’re now accused of doing: holding up unemployment benefits. Unfortunately, the media thinks you’re a better target. Real Americans know the truth. No worries, I’ve got your back!
Your actions blocking the bill expose Obama’s own failed response to pay-as-you-go. And it’s a similar response we’ve seen from him before. His creation of a ‘debt commission’ was just another bureaucratic attempt by him to lay the blame on others. Because Obama can’t lead himself out of a paper bag.
Your blocking of the bill is also, in a way, like a canary in the ObamaCare coal mine. The results foretell (on a lower scale) what will happen when Obama fully applies his brand of health care reform: massive cuts to Medicare reimbursements and services.
Lastly, your actions speak towards you expecting (demanding?) that the majority party provide SOME leadership in this supposedly bipartisan fight against higher deficits. Unfortunately, despite Dem control of the House, Senate AND Presidency, they’re going to punt…and then blame you for the bad snap.
You’re the only American standing strong on this. I say “Thank you!”

Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning just read a constituent letter on the Senate floor, calling for a “long overdue revolution in this country.” Why would Bunning have chosen to read this particular passage? Does he advocate revolution?
Did Sen. Bunning commit a crime by reading a letter on the floor of the Senate advocating the violent overthrow of the US government? How can this not be treason? Being outrageous to garner attention is one thing but I think this particular outrage needs to be investigated as a possible crime against the state. Forget the politics; this is a question of the greater good of the country. If ever words demand the removal of a US Senator from office surely these are they.

In the 110th congress 9 out of the top 10 ten positions on the missed votes list in the senate are held by democrats, with your messiah coming in at #3 with a whopping 46.3% votes missed, compared to Jim Bunnings 3.2% in the 110th. In the current congress Bunning has missed 7.3% of the votes. Let me ask you something, it doesn’t bother you that Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn’s Weather Underground was not only advocating revolution, but openly conspiring to and actively involved in blowing up buildings in the U.S. as a means of inspiring rebellion.
