Washington, D.C., office: Child prostitution not clearly discussed. At no point in the transcript of Giles and O’Keefe’s visit to the Washington, D.C., ACORN office does either Giles or O’Keefe clearly state that they are planning to engage in child prostitution. Both Giles (Page 15) and O’Keefe (Page 9) say that the house will be used by “girls” — who the ACORN employee refers to as “women of the night” — and at one point, O’Keefe says (Page 13) that “10 El Salvadorians” will be working in the house, but at no point are the ages of the supposed prostitutes mentioned.

New York office: Child prostitution not clearly discussed: In the transcript of Giles and O’Keefe’s visit to the New York ACORN office, they discuss underage girls that Giles wants to “protect” and separately discuss “girls” working in the house, but they do not indicate that the two groups are the same. O’Keefe says that Giles “is going to have this business in the house with a bunch of girls coming and doing these things, performing tricks and she is going to give me the money so that I can pay the mortgage” (Page 15) but does not say that those “girls” are underage. Much later, Giles states, “They should throw Sonny in jail, not me, he’s the one who got me started. … I mean he got a whole slew of which is why I also want a house. … He’s got all these 13, 14, 15 year old girls from El Salvador and that’s what — I need to protect them like I know what its like and I have to protect them and like give them somewhere to live” (Page 28). The videos posted on YouTube are nevertheless titled “ACORN NYC Child Prostitution Investigation.”

Hannity, Lowry similarly referred to presumably of-age prostitutes as “girls.” While Giles and O’Keefe refer to the prostitutes who would reside in the house as “girls” in the Washington, D.C., and New York videos, conservative media figures such as Hannity — who repeatedly touted the videos — have similarly referred to prostitutes in that manner regardless of their age. The July 3, 2006, and December 16, 2005, edition of Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes featured Hannity’s interviews with presumably adult prostitutes, whom Hannity repeatedly referred to as “girls.” Likewise, guest-hosting the July 27, 2007, edition of Hannity & Colmes, Rich Lowry referred to “part two of Sean’s attempt to Hannitize the girls of Reno’s Bunny Ranch.” [from Nexis]

San Bernardino: ACORN employee tries to “shock them as much as they were shocking me.” In the video of Giles and O’Keefe’s visit to the San Bernardino ACORN office, ACORN organizer Tresa Kaelke gives them advice on how to run a brothel and also informs them that she murdered her ex-husband. During the evening on September 15, ACORN issued a statement calling the video of O’Keefe and Giles’ interactions with Kaelke an “obvious set of lies and manipulations.” Kaelke stated of the conservative activists who filmed her: “They were not believable. … Somewhat entertaining, but they weren’t even good actors. I didn’t know what to make of them. They were clearly playing with me. I decided to shock them as much as they were shocking me. Like Stephen Colbert does — saying the most outrageous things with a straightface.” In a September 15 news release, the San Bernardino Police Department stated that Kaelke’s claim that she shot and killed her ex-husband “do[es] not appear to be factual.”

Los Angeles: ACORN employee refused to help them after they mentioned child prostitution. In a blog post accompanying video of Giles and O’Keefe’s visit to the Los Angeles ACORN Housing office, O’Keefe reports that the ACORN employee “drew the line when we spoke about the underage girls” and “would not assist us.”

Philadelphia: ACORN employee contacted police following visit. ACORN has publicly released a July 24 Philadelphia police report stating that an ACORN employee complained to police that O’Keefe had created a “verbal disturbance” at ACORN’s office.

I have informed the local NBC affiliate that I have deleted all of their broadcast channels from my home network because of this incident. I doubt that they care since they are the lowest rated broadcast network in this region, but the “death of a thousand cuts” scenario comes to mind .

First of all, Breitbart.TV posted, without any spin mind you, news of James O’Keefe’s arrest multiple times, even simultaneously, and before other news organizations ever picked up on it. This speaks to both full disclosure on Breitbart’s part, and journalistic integrity.

Secondly, let me ask you when ever was the last time any of the LEFTIST MOON-BAT MSNBC (everyone knows who they are; no need to name them) PUNDITS willing to appear on The BCast, or on air with a Hannity, a Beck, an O’Reilly, Greta’s program, even Fox And Friends, for goodness sake; or Laura Ingraham’s Radio Program, or Mark Levin’s Radio Show, or countless others? Never! Never; because they would get shredded to bits in a debate with any one of these people.

And here we are now, the very next day after this news story breaks, and Andrew Breitbart appears on this program in person; right in front of the camera himself. He didn’t send some proxy or simply release a “statement”, nor did he phone it in. He stepped right up to the plate and hacked away at everything Shuster threw at him; and in doing so, he vindicates himself because he has integrity, which so few on the left ever possess. And to top it off, never once during this appearance does Andrew Breitbart throw James O’Keefe under the bus as “others” on the left would have.

Kudos to you, Andrew Breitbart; that is what integrity is all about.

O’Keefe and Landrieu/Watergate 2?
Contrary to what the lame stream media (LSM) portrayed the James O’Keefe/Senator Landrieu story to be, it turns out to be much to do about nothing. Although ill-advised what they were trying to accomplish was to show that Senator Mary Landrieu was not responding to her constituents so they were checking to see if the phones were working. Everyone should know by now that the Democrat/Statists were not responding or listening to their constituents. They could see it from the town halls. Therefore, it was a non-story.
However, it’s ironic the LSM did not really question or investigate the Senator about the 300 million dollar bribe she received for her vote on the healthcare bill or why her constituents were unable to get in contact with her. They also ignored and downplayed the ACORN story. Instead, they thought they had Watergate two and wiretapping. They were dreaming and hoping to take down some big time conservatives with this story and had to retract some of their over zealous reporting.
Biased Ed Schultz even made the comment to Bertha Lewis of ACORN that the arrest of O’Keefe vindicated ACORN. Nothing could be further from the TRUTH. ACORN is a corrupt organization and is being investigated in numerous states for voter registration fraud, not to mention the videos made by O’Keefe of ACORN exposing more corruption regarding underage slave prostitution. Then again what did you expect coming from this BLOWHARD, after all Schultz said he would CHEAT TO WIN and vote 10, no 20 times if he lived in Massachusetts. By the way ED that is a crime.
The LSM likes to be the FIRST to report a story even if they do not have all of the FACTS. I would prefer to have the facts right and not be so concerned with being the FIRST. When the story first broke these questions came to mind, which for the most point have been answered.
What are the charges? What evidence do they have?
What were you doing in Senators Mary Landrieu’s Office? Was there an appointment made, and by whom?
Who was with you? Why were they with you? Were you taping and if so why? Did you seek permission to tape the interview? What were you trying to accomplish?
Have you heard of Nixon and Watergate?
As stated James O’Keefe was trying to show Senator Landrieu was not responding to phone calls from her constituents. The means he went about it was ill-advised, because O’Keefe has a target on him. Therefore, when he tries to expose corruption and misdeeds his methods must be done way above board.

Virtually everyone on the MSNBC news staff is little more than a leftist hack who long ago traded in any right to be called a serious journalist. Put quite simply they are paid propagandists willing to twist information in any way they can so long as it supports their agenda. Their ancestors, I’m sure, were complicit in the reporting of the Reichstag fire.

Having said this, it pains me to no end to write that in this case Andrew Breitbart — whom I’ve never disagreed with before — failed to turn in one of his usually stellar performances. I don’t fault his facts, but his recitation of those facts was poorly executed. In this case, AB would have been much better off to have declined Shuster’s invitation to participate. There was little if anything to gain, and with AB obviously lacking a message strategy, he risked a great deal. Seemingly lacking preparation, he became engaged from the outset in a rambling shouting match that gained nothing.

In the last analysis, as I learned long ago, this instance proved again that knowing what to say in a given situation is very important. Knowing when to say it is vital.
